T: Why are these animals in the zoos?S: They are in danger.(二)展示本课教学目标(设计意图:让学生明确本课学习目的)二、学习有关濒危动物的词汇( 4 分钟)Match the words in the box with their meanings.
conservation endangered extinct habitat reservespecies struggle survival wild wildlife1.a type of animal or plant n.____________2 the place where animals live naturally n.____________3 protection, especially of natural things n.____________4.in danger adj______________5.a fight which lasts a long time n.____________6.an area of land where animals are protected n.__________7.dead (for a species ,not a single animal) adj.____________8 continuing to live n._______________9.living in a natural state ,away from people adj.___________10.wild animals n.______________四、阅读课本中第51页第一小题的有关濒危动物的短文并说出动物濒危的原因。
(7分钟)1.How many Siberian tigers are left?2. What have the Chinese and Russian governments done to the Siberian tiger ?3.Where is the habitat of the giant panda?4.How many animal species are now in danger ?(教学目的:通过图片、数据等信息让学生了解的濒危动物的现状;通过检测信息检验学生的阅读理解)猜测(悬念):说出动物濒危的原因。
Why are the animals in danger of extinction ? Give your reasons. For example 例如:1.They are killed for their body parts.2.…五、学习老师自己写的一篇关于保护“东北虎”的文章.(8分钟)the Siberian tigerThe Siberian tiger, the largest member of the cat family, is one of the most beautiful animals in the world. It can be found in forests in parts of Siberia Russia and Northeast China. It feeds mainly on medium sized animals such as deer and wild pigs. Today the species is in danger of extinction. Only about 1000 are left.任务二:分组完成写作,每组分别写一自然段(教学目的:分组完成写作任务,可以培养学生的合作精神、发散性思维能力、以及互相鉴赏学习的能力)Para 1 General introduction about pandas____________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ____Para 2 Why are the pandas in danger?____________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ____Para 3 What measures should we take to protect the wild life?____________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ____任务三:批改与评价每个大组选出一位同学到黑板上写出自己部分的作文,最后由老师和同学们一起批改并评出写得最好的小组代表。
