We made little toy boats and had a contest to see whose could hold the most pennies before sinking. My boat held 27 pennies which was pretty good, but not as impressive as Jack's which held 37!Social studies was next and we learned all about the American Revolution. I'll admit, history can sometimes be a little boring. But our teacher made it way more fun by letting us do a pretend debate. Half the class had to argue for the British side and the other half was the American colonists. Jack and I were colonists, of course, because we would never want to be British!Finally, it was time for gym class which was my favorite period of the day. We played an epic game of dodgeball which is the best gym game ever. Our gym teacher divided us into twoteams to make it a giant battle. I was one of the team captains so I got to pick players first. Jack was my first choice!The game started off pretty slowly, but soon dodgeballs were whizzing everywhere. I managed to catch a few and get the other team's players out, but I also got nailed myself a couple times. Towards the end, it came down to just me and Jack versus two kids on the other team.
