on one hand, i like the city because it is young, vital, beautiful and full of challenges. on the other hand, many students in the common classes are quitedifferent from my former students. they didn't study hard at all. they were too indolent in class, talking, sleeping and doing anything that they like. it is a common sight for them not to do homework. they didn't care about their school marks. they just wanted to get much but paid little. what is more, they showed deaf ears to your advice or criticism for their mistakes or faults. when i wanted to point out their mistakes, i should weigh my words over and over not to hurt their feelings. i felt as if i lost my way in the sea. i even had such an idea: to give up the job as an english teacher.but an event changed my mind. one day, a student had a talk with me in my office. his words always linger in my mind. he said: "ms hu, may i ask you a question?" i answered "sure." then he talked just like an old friend of mine. he said: "i can see you don't feel happy now because many of us don't study hard. we are too naughty and sometimes we make troubles, or play tricks in class on purpose. we are forced to learn many things that are boring, useless and not valuable. so we are tired of studying. have you ever been forced to do anything that you really didn't want to do? if so, you can understand why the students do so." i was deeply shocked by his words. as a teacher, i seldom think about the question in the position of the students. then i asked him what was his idea of a good english teacher. he was a little shy first but after a moment he was eloquent again. he said: "ithink a good teacher should be the students' close friend who shares their ups and downs. he should be passionate about many things―books, sports, literature, films and fashion. he is humorous and nottoo critical about the students' mistakes or faults.he not only asks the students to listen to him butalso likes listening to the students. he nourishes and broadens our horizon because of his profound knowledge. he won't just focus on the students' marks but cares more about the students' development in many ways. in his class he should have a powerful emotional impact. so after his lesson we can read, write, think andlearn better…"i couldn't believe these words running out of the mouth of a middle school student. his wordsenlightened me suddenly just like a bright lamp in the darkness... from his words we know it is not easy tobe a good teacher. but since then i began to think and reflect myself in my teaching. as a teacher, first we should love the students like our own children. i try to stand in the students' position, understand them, help them and at the same time improve our teaching skills and method. in my spare time i read the books which the students are interested in so that i canunderstand them better. now more and more of my students show interest in english and i feel happy to be an english teacher, too. do you have such experience as i have, dear friends? today i'd like to share a sentence with all of you. if there were no cloud, would the sky feel lonely? if there were no sky, where should the cloud wander?that is all for my speech. thank you for you attention.篇章2:感恩教师节英语演讲稿(中英对照)【按住Ctrl键点此返回目录】good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. good afternoon, boys and girls. good afternoon, everybody.i ’m glad to make a speech here.as we all know, tomorrow is teachers’ day. many people say that teachers are not unusual at all.that’s true. but i want to say though teachers are common, their job is unusual. what they do is veryvery great. i am an english teacher. so i’l l make anenglish speech here. and my topic is “live with thankfulness”. do you know what “thankfulness” means in chinese? it means “gan’en”.we know that in the world, we are not living alone. from the day we were born, there have been many people around us. they take care of us. they help us. they teach us. they play with us and grow up together with us. they support us. they understand us. the most important is: they love us. who are they? can you give me your answer?yes, they are our parents, grandparents or family members; they may be your idmates, your friends even your neighbors. they are all important to us. wecan’t live without them. we should thank them.we should thank the great world. because it gives us sunlight, air, water and everything we need to keep us alive healthily. we can’t live without them.we should thank our parents. they are the people who gave us the life. they look after us carefully andgive all their love to us. i believe if necessary, they are willing to give everything to us. they stay with us, all the time.we should thank our teachers. it is they who teach us knowledge unselfishly. they let us know how to write, how to read, how to get on with others and so on. they are our guide in our life.we should thank our friends, our idmates. they are our partners. they understand us. they encourage us. they play with us. they grow up together with us. they make our life more colorful.my dear boys and girls, teachers’ day is coming. it’s a celebrating time. it’s also a thankf ul time. let’s take actions together. show our thanks to the world, learn to protect it. show our thanks to our parents, learn to look after them. show our thanks to our teachers, learn how to respect them. show our thanks to our idmates, learn to help and share with them.boys and girls, are you ready? 英语老师演讲稿英语老师演讲稿精选4篇(一)Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning, and thank you for being here today. I stand before you as an English teacher, with a deep passion for the English language and a strong belief in the power of communication.English, as we all know, is a global language. It is spoken by millions of people worldwide and is the primary language of business, education, and diplomacy. In today's interconnected world, proficiency in English is no longer just an advantage, but a necessity. As an English teacher, my goal is not just to teach grammar and vocabulary, but to equip my students with the skills they need to be effective communicators. I strive to create an interactive and engaging classroom environment, where my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and practicing their language skills.I believe that language learning is not just about memorizing words and rules, but about connecting with people and understanding different cultures. By immersing my students in authentic English materials, such as literature, films, and news articles, I aim to broaden their horizons and spark their curiosity about the world.Furthermore, I encourage my students to actively participate in conversations and debates, where they can express their opinions and learn from their peers. Through these discussions, they not only improve their language skills but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. In our ever-changing world, technological advancements are shaping the way we communicate. As an English teacher, I embrace these changes and incorporate technology into my teaching practices. By using online platforms, interactive presentations, and various language learning apps, I make the learning experience more engaging and accessible for my students. However, it is important to remember that technology cannot replace human interaction. As an English teacher, I value the personal connections I build with my students, and I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I believe that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and it is myresponsibility to cater to their individual needs and help them reach their full potential. In conclusion, being an English teacher is not just a job for me; it is a passion and a privilege. I am writing to provide an update on my progress asa trainee English teacher. Overall, I am enjoying my experience and finding it both challenging and rewarding.During the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to observe and assist in classes across different levels, from beginner to advanced. This has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the varying needs and abilities of the students. I have taken notes during these observations and have been reflecting on the teaching strategies used by the experienced teachers. I found their methodologies to be effective in engaging the students in the learning process. In addition to observing and assisting, I have also taken on some teaching responsibilities. I have conducted small group discussions, led pronunciation exercises, and facilitated classroom activities. These experiences have allowed me to practice my classroom management skills and develop my ability to adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of the students. I have received positive feedback from both the students and the senior teachers, which has boosted my confidence.Furthermore, I have been working on creating my own lesson plans. I have explored various online resources and textbooks to gather materials and ideas for my lessons. However, I have encountered some challenges in finding appropriate materials thatalign with the curriculum and cater to the needs of the students. I am actively seeking guidance from the senior teachers to improve my lesson planning skills. In terms of professional development, I have attended several workshops and webinars organized by the school. These sessions have focused on different teaching methodologies, classroom management techniques, and techniques for assessing student progress. These opportunities have enhanced my understanding of effective teaching practices and provided me with valuable resources to use in my own classroom.Looking ahead, I am excited to continue developing my teaching skills and taking on more responsibilities. I plan to continue observing senior teachers and seeking their guidance on improving my lesson planning. I also intend to focus on creating more interactive and engaging activities for the students.Thank you for your continuous support and guidance throughout this practicum period. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow as a trainee English teacher. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.I am glad here to present my speech.Being a teacher has been my dream since I was a little girl, so now I feel pretty honored to be elected as an english teacher of your school. The past three-year teaching in junior high school taught me that it’s not easy to be a good english teacher. But I believe that it is poible so long as I do my best. This moment is a new beginning to me.Thanks for providing me the new stage to chase my dream continously. In the following years, I’d like to bee an excellent english teacher based on the following points:First, enhancing my own profetioal skillBecause of the fact that I had never teach in senior high school, I have to be familiar with the textbooks as soon as poible and find a way which isboth suited to my students and myself in teaching practice.Besides, the world is developing, so does knowledge. Therefore, I would also keep learning in my spare time to improve my prehensive skills, for exle, reading English newspapers and magazines, listening english news and so on.Of course, learning from other senior teachers is an indispensible part of my plan due to their rich teaching experience and profound knowledge, too.second, being a good guiderAs an english teacher, there is no doubt that improving students’ english skills is my primary task.I would prepare leons carefully, aign time reasonably and make them interesting and facinating as poible so that students would listen attentively and participate actively. However, as a teacher, leading students to be a true person is important, too.thus, giving students some instructive suggestions in proper time is one of my job as well.Third, believeing and respecting my studentsEvery one has their own strengths and weakne and grade should not be the only standard of judging a student. As far as I concerned, if we give students enough freedom and let them to do what they are interested in, they would do very well.So whether my students make a good score in exams or not, I would treat them equally and be confident in them. For those students who are good at english learning, I wouldlike to make them get better grades. On the other hand, for those who are really not, I would help them find out their interests and encourge them to do what they are willing to do.Thanks for your support and trust again. That’s all.第2篇:英语教师演讲稿英语教师演讲稿en couldnt controlmy breath .because i really didnt know what to say at that time .well-today, being an english teacher for some years in zhongxin, i have a strong sense of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence.after being an english teacher,i think,to be a good english teacher, you should know your major well.your personality is as important as your knowledge.a good english teacher must beenthusiastic.you must love your students and respect them.in addition, you must also respect yourself and take pride in your work.a good english teacher should be kind, encouraging, and helpful and you should motivate your students to seek knowledge.ill tell you a true story, last year, a boy named liulei came to our cla,he looked so quiet, no age childrens lively and cheerful, he didnt dare to answer the question loudly, when i asked him to do the dialogue in front, heeven had a big cry .and he didnt dare to seeanyone ,whose voice low likea whisper, i am well aware that he lackedof confidence and neceary encouragement .so, then i give the opportunity to him for each cla , and i——。

每一次,放学后,他们都会在不超过他们所学到的东西的情况下学习,并且他们的表现得到了极大的提高,阿什蒂尔对自己的进步感到非常兴奋,我意识到:[npresidntid)achievement!thissenseofachievementisnosubstitute.inbible,itsays:loveispatient;loveiskind;.itdoesnotinsistonitsownway;itbearsallthings,hopesall things,enduresallthings.loveneverends.growup,uselovetobringthembrightsunshine, uselovetoimprovemylifevalue,thatiswhatiwanttodo.ifthereisanotherchanceformetoc hoosemyoccupation,iwon’tchooseanythingexceptbeinganenglishteacher.ienjoymyjob,andilovemylife.thatsall.thankyouforlistening!

Their unwavering love and support have been the driving force behind my success. I am deeply grateful for their understanding and patience, especially during the challenging times. Now, let me share some thoughts on what it means to be an English teacher and why I am passionate about this noble profession.Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it is about nurturing young minds and shaping the future of our society. As English teachers, we have the privilege of playing a pivotal role in our students' lives. We are the architects of their dreams, the guardians of their aspirations, and the mentors who guide them towards success.English, as a language, has the power to connect people from different cultures and backgrounds. It is a medium through which we can share our ideas, experiences, and emotions. As English teachers, we have the responsibility to make our students proficient in this global language, equipping them with the skills to communicate effectively andconfidently in the international arena. However, being an English teacher is not just about teaching grammar, vocabulary, and literature. It is about fostering critical thinking, creativity, and empathy in our students. We need to inspire them to explore the world beyond their textbooks, to question the status quo, and to embrace diversity. We must encourage them to think independently and to develop their unique perspectives. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is witnessing the transformation in our students. We see them grow from shy, insecure individuals to confident, articulate young adults. We witness their passion for learning and their desire to make a difference in the world. It is this journey that makes teaching a truly fulfilling profession. In my teaching journey, I have encountered numerous challenges and obstacles. There have been days when I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about my abilities. However, it is these moments that have taught me resilience and perseverance. I have learned that teaching is not a destination but a continuous journey of learning and growth. As an English teacher, I have always believed in the power of storytelling. Stories have the ability to touch our hearts, inspire us, and change our lives. Through literature, we can explore different cultures, understand human emotions, and reflect on our own values. I have tried to incorporate storytelling into my teaching, making my lessons engaging and thought-provoking.I have also emphasized the importance of communication skills in my classroom. I believe that language is a tool for self-expression and understanding. By encouraging my students to speak, write, and listen actively, I have enabled them to develop their communication skills, which are essential in their personal and professional lives. In conclusion, I am humbled and honored to receive this award as an English teacher of the year. It is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that I have poured into my teaching. I wouldlike to assure all my students, colleagues, and mentors that I will continue to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in the lives of my students. As we move forward, let us remember that teaching is not a job but a mission. It is a noble profession that requires dedication, patience, and perseverance. Let us continue to inspire, motivate, and empower our students, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in life.Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported me in this journey. It is with your guidance and encouragement that I have been able to achieve this milestone. I am truly blessed to be part of this incredible journey of teaching and learning.Thank you. It is with great humility and immense gratitude that I stand before you today to express my heartfelt thanks for this esteemed award. To be recognized as an English teacher of the year is truly an honor that I never expected to receive. It is a testament to the incredible journey that I have been on as an educator, and I am filled with both pride and a sense of responsibility.First and foremost, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the organization that has bestowed upon me this award. Teaching is not a solitary endeavor; it is a collaborative effort that requires teamwork and shared knowledge. Your guidance, mentorship, and friendship have been invaluable to my growth as an educator. I am fortunate to have such talented and compassionate colleagues who inspire me daily to be the best teacher I can be.But let us not forget the most important people in this room: the students. It is their laughter, their curiosity, and their resilience that remind me why I chose this noble profession. To be an English teacher is to be a guide on the journey of self-discovery, a mentor who helps students unlock their potential, and a friend who supports them through the ups and downs of life. I am grateful for the privilege of having the opportunity to work with such amazing young people.I would like to share with you some thoughts on the journey that has led me to this moment. When I first began my career as an English teacher, I was filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. I had studied literature, language, and pedagogy, and I was eager to share my passion for the written word with my students. However, I quickly realized that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it is about nurturing the hearts and minds of young people.I have learned that the best teachers are those who are lifelong learners themselves. They are curious about the world, eager to explore new ideas, and willing to adapt their teaching methods to meet the needs of their students. Over the years, I have attended workshops, conferences, and webinars to enhance my skills and knowledge. I have sought out mentorship and collaboration with my colleagues to improve my practice. And I have dedicated myself to staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in education. One of the most important lessons I have learned is the importance of creating a positive and supportive learning environment. I believe that every student deserves to feel valued, respected, and challenged. I strive to create a classroom where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and express their thoughts and opinions. I believe that a classroom should be a place where learning is joyful, engaging, and meaningful. In my classroom, I focus on the development of critical thinking skills, literacy, and a love for reading. I believe that literature has the power to transform lives, to open our hearts, and to expand our minds. I encourage my students to explore different genres, to analyze texts critically, and to engage with the world through the lens of literature.I hope that my students leave my classroom with a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them.I am also committed to promoting equity and inclusivity in my classroom.I believe that every student has a unique voice and that every voice deserves to be heard. I strive to create a diverse and inclusive curriculum that reflects the richness of our world. I believe that education should be accessible to all, regardless of their background, and I work hard to ensure that my students have the resources and support they need to succeed. As I reflect on my journey as an English teacher, I am reminded of the many challenges and triumphs that I have encountered. There have been moments of doubt and frustration, but there have also been moments of pure joy and fulfillment. It is the students who have taught me the most important lessons, who have inspired me to continue on this path, and who have given me the strength to overcome obstacles. In conclusion, I am deeply honored to receive this award, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts with you today. I would like to leave you with a few words of advice for those who are considering a career in education or who are already on this noble path:First, remember that teaching is a privilege, not a job. It is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people and to contribute to the betterment of society.Second, never stop learning. The world is constantly changing, and as educators, we must be willing to adapt and grow with our students.Third, be patient and persistent. Teaching is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time to see the fruits of our labor, but the rewards are immeasurable. Finally, never underestimate the power of love and kindness. These qualities are what will keep us grounded, inspire our students, and guide us through the challenges that we will face.Thank you once again for this incredible honor. I am proud to be a part of this esteemed group of educators, and I am committed to continuing my journey as a dedicated and passionate English teacher.God bless you all, and may we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and the world around us.Thank you. It is with great honor and immense gratitude that I stand before you today to express my heartfelt thanks for this distinguished award. I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and linguistic abilities. This diversity has enriched my teaching and has taught me to appreciate the beauty of different voices and viewpoints. In my journey as an English teacher, I have encountered numerous challenges. There have been moments of frustration, moments of doubt, and moments of triumph. However, it is through these challenges that I have learned and grown. I have learned the importance of patience, perseverance, and adaptability. I have learned that every student is different, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching.I have learned that education is not just about imparting knowledge but about inspiring students to think critically, to question, and to explore. One of the key aspects of my teaching philosophy is the emphasis on communication skills. I believe that language is a powerful tool forself-expression and for building bridges between people. Therefore, I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable and confident in expressing themselves. I encourage them to engage in meaningful discussions, to participate in group activities, and to embrace the challenges of writing and speaking. By doing so, I hope toequip them with the skills they need to succeed not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal and professional lives.Another important aspect of my teaching is the integration of technology. In today's digital age, it is crucial for students to be proficient in using technology to access information, to communicate, and to collaborate. I incorporate various digital tools and resources into my lessons, such as online platforms, interactive whiteboards, and educational apps. These tools not only make learning more engaging and interactive but also prepare students for the demands of the modern world. Moreover, I am committed to fostering a love for literature and the arts in my students. I believe that literature has the power to transport us to different worlds, to evoke emotions, and to inspire change. Therefore, I encourage my students to explore a wide range of literary genres, to analyze characters and themes, and to express their thoughts and opinions. Through literature, I hope to broaden their horizons, toignite their imagination, and to cultivate their appreciation for the beauty of language. In conclusion, I am deeply honored to receive this award as an English teacher of the year. It is a testament to the dedication and passionthat I have for my profession. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given, for the support of my colleagues, and for thestudents who have inspired me along the way.As I move forward in my teaching career, I will continue to strive for excellence, to challenge myself, and to push the boundaries of my teaching practices. I will continue to learn and grow, to adapt to the changing needs of my students, and to make a positive impact in their lives. To my students, I want to say thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. You are the reason why I continue to be passionate about teaching. I amproud of each and every one of you, and I look forward to witnessingyour future successes. To my colleagues, I want to say thank you for your friendship, your support, and your shared commitment to excellence in education. Let us continue to inspire and uplift each other, to share our knowledge and experiences, and to make a difference in the lives of our students. To the esteemed guests and audience members, I want to say thank you for your presence and for your interest in the field of education. Your support and encouragement are invaluable. In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from one of my favorite authors, J.K. Rowling: "It is our choices, Harry, that show what wetruly are, far more than our abilities." Let us continue to make choices that reflect our values, our dedication, and our love for teaching.Thank you once again for this incredible honor. Here's to the future of education and to the endless possibilities that lie ahead.Godspeed.[Your Name]。
