CONSTITUTION:A base region is formed in the specified region of a silicon substrate and the entire surface is covered with CVD oxide film while the contact window of an emitter and the base is simultaneously perforated to form a polycrylstalline silicon layer 16 containing the emitter impurities on the upper part of the emitter contact window. Then the said layer 16 is covered with a silicon nitride film 18 and etched with the exception of the specified part to form the nitride film on the upper part of the emitter and the base contact window into a silicon oxide film 19 by means of the anode oxidization process. Then an emitter region 20 is formed by means of diffusing the impurities in the specified region in the base region making use of the said formed film as a mask.
