Guangzhou Opera House is one of the seven new landmark buildings in Guangzhou , which is located in Zhujiang New Town , an area of economy , business and culture .
Guangzhou Opera house look like two boulders – a big boulder as well as Байду номын сангаас small boulder…

And the left one is the big one …
The Big Boulder features a movable stage which can be raised 30 meters, or dropped 20 meters to facilitate the changing of sets. And the light bulbs used on the ceiling of the hall are energy saving and arranged in chic designs.
But in my opinion ,it is like a big ship which is floating on the green water when we look at it in the distance.
Please look at the photo below … Can you find something strange ? Yes , there are a series of twinkle pieces which seem to be embedded in the window . I took it as a distinctive landscape of Opera House .
It ,covers an area of about 42000 square kilometres and the total area of this building is more than 70000 square kilometres . Guangzhou Opera House includes three parts : the Opera House , the Multi-funtional Theater as well as other relative equitments .
If you are interested in Guangzhou Opera House , you can go to Zhujiang New Town and have a look at it . Besides , Guangdong Provincial Museum and Guangzhou New Library are there ,too . Between Guangzhou Opera House and Guangdong Provincial Museum ,there is a quite broad square in which we can relax , play as well . In a distance is the Guangzhou TV Tower .
Guangzhou Opera House , also called the "Twin Boulder" , is designed by London-based architect Zaha Hadid and Arthur Harold Marshall , a vocal musician . The building takes its shape from boulders in the Zhujiang river that runs through the city of Guangzhou. The Big Boulder is the major theater of the Center, with 1800 seats, while the small boulder houses a multi-function theater with 400 seats. More than 10-thousand tons of steel were used in GCPA's construction, double the amount used to build the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
