篇2My ChangesWow, I can't believe how much I've changed over the past few years! It's crazy to think about all the things that are different now compared to when I was a little kid. I guess that's just part of growing up, though. One of the biggest changes for me has been going to school every day. When I was really little, I used to stay at home with my mom or grandma. We'd play games, read books, and have fun together. But then, when I turned five, it was time for me to start kindergarten. I remember being really nervous on my first day ofschool. Everything was new and a little bit scary. But my teacher, Mrs. Anderson, was super nice and helped me feel more comfortable. After getting used to kindergarten, I moved on to first grade, and then second grade, and so on. Each year, school got a little bit harder, but I also learned a lot of really cool new things. Now that I'm in fifth grade, I can read chapter books, do multiplication and division, and even write essays like this one!Another big change has been making new friends. When I was younger, my best friends were my cousins and the kids who lived on my street. We'd play together almost every day, running around outside or having pretend adventures in our backyards. But once I started school, I met so many new kids from all over the neighborhood. At first, it was a little intimidating trying to make new friends, but I soon realized that most of the other kids were just as nervous as I was.Over the years, I've made lots of great friends at school. We hang out during recess, work on group projects together, and sometimes even have sleepovers or playdates after school. My friends and I have so much fun together, and they've really helped me come out of my shell and become more confident. One of my new favorite hobbies is playing soccer. I joined a youth soccer team a couple of years ago, and I absolutely love it. It's so much fun running around and kicking the ball with my teammates. We practice every week and have games on the weekends. Even though it can be tough and tiring sometimes, it's really rewarding when we score a goal or win a game.I've also gotten really interested in learning about different countries and cultures around the world. In school, we've studied ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. We've also learned about modern countries and their traditions, languages, and customs. It's fascinating to me how diverse the world is and how many different ways of life there are.Nowadays, I have to wake up by myself in the mornings, get ready for school, and make sure I have all my homework and supplies packed up. After school, I have to remember to do my chores around the house, like making my bed, cleaning my room, and helping with dishes or laundry. I even have to start thinking about things like saving my allowance money and being more careful about taking care of my belongings. It's definitely been an adjustment getting used to all these new responsibilities, but I know it's an important part of growing up and becoming more independent. My parents are alwaysthere to help me when I need it, but they also encourage me to try doing things on my own as much as possible.Even though there have been a lot of changes in my life over the past few years, there are some things that haven't changed at all. My family is still the most important thing to me, and I love spending time with them more than anything. We go on fun trips together, celebrate holidays and special occasions, and just enjoy being around each other as much as we can.My friends from when I was really little are still my friends too, even though we don't get to hang out as often anymore since we go to different schools. But whenever we do get together, it's like no time has passed at all. We pick up right where we left off, laughing and joking around like we always have. And of course, my love for learning and trying new things hasn't changed one bit. I'm always eager to learn about the world around me, whether it's in school, through books and movies, or by exploring the great outdoors. There's just so much to discover and experience out there, and I can't wait to see what other changes and adventures are in store for me as I continue growing up.So even though growing up means a lot of changes, I'm excited to keep learning, making new friends, and discovering new interests and passions along the way. Who knows what kinds of amazing things I'll get to do and see in the years to come? One thing's for sure – it's going to be an incredible journey, and I can't wait to see where life takes me next!篇3My ChangesHello, my name is Emily and I'm in 5th grade. I want to tell you about all the changes I've gone through over the last few years. It's been a big journey of growth and discovery! When I was younger, things seemed so simple. My biggest concerns were what games to play or which cartoon to watch. As I've gotten older though, my world has expanded rapidly. I've had to adapt to new experiences and challenges. One of the biggest changes has been in my schoolwork. In the early grades, we focused a lot on the basics like reading, writing, and math facts. While those skills are still important, my studies have gotten much more advanced. Subjects like science, history, and literature have become part of my daily learning.Instead of just memorizing information, I now have to analyze things critically and form my own opinions. For example, in science class we recently studied ecosystems. It was fascinating to learn about how all the living and non-living parts of an environment interact and depend on each other. We had group projects where we had to research specific ecosystems and present what we learned. Speaking in front of the class used to make me really nervous, but I've gotten more confident over time.My reading abilities have improved dramatically too. I can now comprehend much more complex books and stories compared to when I was younger. Some of my favorite novels to read lately have been fantasies like Harry Potter or realistic fiction books about kids facing challenges similar to my own life. Discussing the underlying messages and lessons in literature is something I really enjoy.Writing has been a big area of growth as well. Instead of just putting a few sentences together, I'm now expected to structure full essays and stories with clear introductions, supporting details, and conclusions. At first it was tough, but I've gotten much better at organizing my thoughts in a logical way. My vocabularyhas expanded a ton too thanks to all the reading and writing practice.Math is definitely my biggest academic challenge though. Once we moved beyond basic arithmetic into advanced concepts like fractions, decimals, and algebra, things really started to get tough! Having to show all my work and explain the reasoning is something I still struggle with at times. But I'm slowly getting better thanks to lots of hard work and asking questions when I'm confused.Instead, I've developed some new hobbies and passions that align more with my age. For one, I'm way more interested in sports and being active these days. Whether it's basketball, soccer, swimming or just running around the neighborhood with friends, I love getting exercise and being part of a team. The competitive aspect really appeals to me in a way it didn't when I was younger.Technology has also become a much bigger part of my life as I've grown up. Having a phone and being on social media is a pretty new phenomenon for me. At first it was really exciting to be able to connect with my friends that way. But I've also had to learn how to self-regulate my screen time and balance the virtual world with real life.My friend group has definitely evolved over time too. Back in the early elementary years, I was mostly friends with whoever was in my class or lived nearby. Your social circle was pretty limited. These days though, I've met people through extracurriculars, youth groups, and just having such a wider range of activities and interests.Maintaining those friendships has become more complex too. When you're little, you mainly just wanted to have fun and play together. Now there are some friendships that are more surface-level, while others go deeper and we really confide in each other about personal issues, challenges with schoolwork, family problems, and so on. Dealing with drama, gossip and fickle friendships has been a learning experience for sure.My relationships with family have shifted quite a bit too. I've definitely had to start being more independent and responsible for things that my parents used to fully manage for me. We also tend to butt heads a bit more now compared to when I was篇4My ChangesEverything is changing all the time - the weather, the seasons, my toys, and even me! I've been changing a lot lately. Some changes happen really fast and other changes happen slowly over a long time. One of the biggest changes is that I'm getting taller. When I was a little kid, everything seemed so big - the chairs, the tables, even the bathroom sink! Now I'm one of the tallest kids in my class. My parents have to keep buying me new clothes because my old ones get too small. My feet have grown a lot too. I remember my mom taking me to get new shoes last year and the saleslady said "My, you've grown like a weed!" It's fun being taller, but sometimes I bonk my head on things that didn't used to be in my way.I've also changed how I look. My hair used to be straight and blonde when I was a baby. Now it's gotten darker and a little wavy. My eyes are still blue, but my eyelashes are longer. My baby teeth have been falling out one by one, and I have new bigger permanent teeth coming in. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I hardly recognize myself! I like my new look though. I think I'm starting to look more like a grown-up.My thoughts and feelings have changed too as I've gotten older. When I was really little, I used to cry a lot, especially if I couldn't get my way. I remember feeling frustrated that I couldn't communicate what I wanted or explain myself very well. Now I've learned more words and I can express myself better. I still get upset sometimes, but I don't cry as much. Instead I try to use my words to work things out.I've also learned how to be more independent. I used to always want my mom to help me with everything - getting dressed, putting on my shoes, brushing my teeth. It seemed really hard to do those things by myself. But over time, I've practiced and now I can do all those things without any help at all. I feel proud that I can take care of myself. Next I want to learn how to tie my own shoelaces! My interests and favorite activities have changed too. A few years ago, I loved playing make-believe and dressing up like a princess or a superhero. Now I'm more into sports and outdoor games like soccer, kickball, and jumping on the trampoline. I used to like simple puzzles with just a few pieces. But now I'm into more complicated puzzles and logic games that really make me think hard. I don't know why my interests shifted, but different things just seem fun and exciting to me now.Even my friends have changed over the years. When I was in preschool, I had my best buddies like Emily and Michael that I did everything with. We had so much fun playing make-believe games and chasing each other at recess. But then we all got splitup into different kindergarten and elementary school classes. Emily and Michael are still my friends, but we don't get to see each other as much anymore. Instead, I've made new friends in my classes like Jayden and Sophia who I really click with these days. I missed my old friends at first, but now I'm used to my new friends and we have a blast together.School itself has changed a lot too as I've moved up through the grades. In preschool, we spent a lot of time just playing, singing songs, and learning the basics. Then in kindergarten, we started having more structured lessons in reading, writing, and math. Now that I'm in elementary school, the work is a lot harder. We have to read complex books, do multi-step math problems, write long essays, and learn about history, science and lots of other subjects. The homework can be really challenging sometimes! But I like learning new things, even if it gets difficult. My brain is changing and growing just like my body. One thing that hasn't really changed is my family. My mom, dad, and little brother are all still the same, which is comforting. We still do a lot of the traditions and activities we've always done, like movie nights, going to the park, and taking vacations together. My grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are thesame too. It's nice to have that stable foundation in my life, even as so many other things keep changing around me.Overall, I feel like I'm in transition - not a little kid anymore, but not yet a grown-up either. I'm somewhere in between, and my mind and body篇5My ChangesHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a 10-year-old student in the fifth grade. Today, I want to share with you the changes I've gone through in the past few years. It's been quite a journey, and I've learned a lot along the way. When I was younger, around six or seven years old, I was a pretty shy kid. I remember feeling nervous around new people and situations. I didn't like being the center of attention, and I often stayed quiet, even when I had something to say. I preferred playing by myself or with just one or two close friends. One thing that really helped me come out of my shell was joining the school choir. At first, I was terrified of singing in front of others, but my music teacher was so kind and encouraging. She made me feel safe to try new things and express myselfthrough song. Slowly but surely, I gained confidence in my abilities and became more comfortable performing in front of an audience. As I grew older, I also became more interested in trying new activities and experiences. I used to be content with just sticking to the things I knew and was good at, like reading and drawing. But then I realized there was a whole world of possibilities out there, and I didn't want to miss out.One of the biggest changes for me was joining the school's soccer team. I had never played a team sport before, and I was a bit clumsy and uncoordinated at first. But my teammates and coach were so supportive, and they never made me feel bad for making mistakes. They encouraged me to keep practicing, and over time, I improved a lot. Not only did I become a better soccer player, but I also learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship.Another significant change for me was learning to be more independent and responsible. When I was younger, I relied heavily on my parents and teachers to remind me of things and help me stay organized. But as I got older, I realized that I needed to start taking more responsibility for myself. One thing that really helped me with this was getting my first pet hamster, Nibbles. I had to remember to feed him, clean his cage, and make sure he had fresh water every day. At first, it was a bit of a struggle, and I sometimes forgot or got distracted. But my parents were patient with me, and eventually, it became a habit. Taking care of Nibbles taught me the importance of being responsible and following through on my commitments. But once we settled into our new home and I started at my new school, things gradually got better. I made some new friends who shared my interests, and I joined the drama club, which helped me feel more connected to my new community. It was tough at first, but I learned that change can be scary, but it can also lead to new and exciting opportunities.Another change that hasn't been easy is dealing with the changes in my body as I've gone through puberty. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with mood swings, acne, and feelingself-conscious about the way I look. But my parents and teachers have been really supportive, and they've helped me understand that these changes are normal and part of growing up.One thing that has really helped me during this time is keeping a journal. Writing down my thoughts and feelings has been a great way for me to process all the changes I'm goingthrough, both physically and emotionally. It's also been a creative outlet for me to express myself through poetry and short stories. As I look back on all the changes I've gone through in the past few years, I can't help but feel proud of how far I've come. I've grown more confident, independent, and resilient. I've learned to step out of my comfort zone and try new things, even when they seem scary at first. So, here's to the changes I've been through, and the ones yet to come. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been a journey of growth, self-discovery, and personal development. And I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me.篇6My ChangesHi there! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about the big changes I've gone through over the past few years. I'm 10 years old now and in 5th grade. A lot has happened since I was a little kid!The first major change was leaving preschool behind and starting kindergarten. I was so nervous on that first day of "bigkid" school. Everything seemed so huge - the building, the playground, the cafeteria. And there were so many new rules to learn! No more napping in the middle of the day. We had to raise our hands to go to the bathroom instead of just wandering off. Lining up quietly, keeping our hands to ourselves, all that good stuff. It was really hard at first. I missed my preschool teachers and all the fun free play time we used to have. I even missed nap time a little bit, as silly as that sounds now. But I made some new friends pretty quickly and my teacher, Mrs. Roberts, was really nice. She helped me get used to the kindergarten routine. Before long, I felt like one of the big kids! After kindergarten, the changes just kept on coming year after year. First grade was exciting because we finally got to learn to read and write for real. I'll never forget that sense of pride when I read my first little book all by myself. Second grade was fun because we got to go on our first real field trips. I loved visiting the museum and the fire station. In third grade, we started getting homework for the first time. I definitely didn't love that change! Having to do school work at home after being at school all day was a huge bummer. Fourth grade brought another big change - we moved to a brandnew school building. It was bigger and more modern than the old one, with awesome computer labs and science rooms. There were even these cool lounges where we could work on projects in small groups. This year, my biggest change has been switching classes and teachers for different subjects. Instead of having one teacher like in the lower grades, I have a different one for math, reading, science, and social studies. It seemed confusing at first, but now I'm used to the schedule. It's nice because each teacher is an expert in their specific subject.Another change this year is that a lot of my friends hit puberty and their personalities shifted a bit. Some of the guys started acting up more and trying to act all cool and mature. A lot of the girls got more giggly and silly around boys they thought were cute. I haven't really gone through puberty myself yet, so I just think it's all a bit weird and funny for now!One thing that hasn't changed much over the years is my love for art class. I've always loved being creative and using all the paints, clay, and craft supplies. My art skills have definitely improved from those messy finger paintings I used to make in preschool though! Now I'm a lot neater and pay more attention to details in my artwork. My hobbies and interests have changed and evolved too as I've gotten older. Back in the day, my favorite toys were stuffed animals and dolls. I loved making up make-believe games and stories for them to act out. These days, you're more likely to find me shooting hoops in the driveway or playing video games. I've also gotten really into reading fiction novel series like Harry Potter.Changes to my family have happened too. When I was really little, it was just me, my mom, and my dad at home. Now I also have a little brother named Jack who is 6 years old. He was a huge change when he was first born because suddenly Mom and Dad had a lot less time and energy for me. I was pretty jealous for a while. But Jack and I are buddies now and we play together a lot. I try to be a good role model for him, though he does drive me crazy sometimes like all little brothers do!My relationships with my parents have changed as well. When I was tiny, they had to do everything for me - feed me, give me baths, you name it. These days, I'm way more independent and capable. I get myself ready for school, keep my room clean(ish), and help out around the house. We get along better now that I'm more mature and responsible.Another big family change is that a couple of years ago, my grandparents moved down the street from us. That was a huge help for my parents because my grandma and grandpa are able to watch Jack and me when our parents need a babysitter. Plus, it's just awesome having them so close by! Grandma taught me how to bake and we make cookies and pies together all the time.So those are the major changes I've experienced over the past few years. Some were harder than others, but I've grown and adjusted to all of them. I bet there are plenty more changes and challenges headed my way as I keep getting older too. Maybe I'll go through an awkward phase or struggle with harder schoolwork in middle school. My interests will likely change again and again. Who knows, maybe I'll join a sports team or start a band!No matter what changes come my way though, I'll keep doing my best to go with the flow. It might be tough sometimes, but change helps me learn and grow. I'm a lot more confident and capable than that nervous little kindergartener I used to be. Bring on the next set of changes - I'm ready!篇7My ChangesHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 10-year-old girl in the 5th grade. Today, I want to share with you about the changes I've gone through in the past few years. Get ready for some exciting stories! The first big change I experienced was learning to ride a bike without training wheels. I can still remember the day my dad took off those small wheels that kept me balanced. I was so nervous! But my dad encouraged me, saying, "You've got this, Emily. Just pedal and keep your balance." After falling a few times and getting some scrapes on my knees, I finally got the hang of it. The sense of freedom and accomplishment I felt when I could ride on my own was incredible!Another significant change for me was starting primary school. On my first day of 1st grade, I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. Everything was so new – a bigger school, different teachers, and lots of unfamiliar faces. But my teacher, Mrs. Smith, was so kind and welcoming. She made sure we all felt comfortable and helped us make new friends. By the end of the first week, I had already made some great buddies, and school didn't seem so scary anymore. As I grew older, my interests and hobbies also changed. When I was younger, I loved playing with dolls and having teaparties. But now, I'm more into sports and outdoor activities. I joined the school's soccer team last year, and it's been so much fun! I love the feeling of running around the field, kicking the ball, and scoring goals. It's taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and staying active. One of the biggest changes I've experienced is adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a challenging time for all of us. We had to stay home for months, attend online classes, and miss out on many fun activities. But it also taught me valuable lessons.I learned to appreciate the little things, like spending quality time with my family and enjoying the outdoors. I also developed new skills, like cooking and gardening, which I never had time for before. Now that things are slowly getting back to normal, I'm excited to embrace new changes and challenges. Next year, I'll be starting middle school, which is both exciting and a bit scary. But I know that with the support of my family and friends, and the lessons I've learned from my past experiences, I'll be able to handle whatever comes my way.Change is a natural part of life, and it can be scary sometimes. But it's also an opportunity for growth and new experiences. I've learned that embracing change with an openmind and a positive attitude can lead to amazing things. Who knows what other exciting changes await me in the future? I can't wait to find out!篇8My ChangesWow, I can't believe how much I've changed over the past few years! It feels like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid, and now I'm a big fourth grader. So many things are different about me now.I remember when I was in kindergarten, I was really shy and scared to talk to anyone. I would just cling to my mom's leg and bury my face in her pants. I didn't want to play with the other kids or do any of the activities. The teacher had to pry me off my mom and carry me into the classroom! I would cry and cry until my eyes were all red and puffy. I'm sure my poor mom felt so bad having to leave me like that every day.But slowly, I started to come out of my shell. My teacher, Mrs. Roberts, was really nice and patient with me. She would sit with me during circle time and gently encourage me to participate. At first, I would just shake my head no. But eventually, I started whispering the answers to her. Then one day, I raised my tinyhand to answer a question out loud! Mrs. Roberts praised me so much, and I felt a little spark of confidence start to grow inside me.In first grade, I became a little social butterfly! I loved making new friends and playing games at recess. My favorite was hide and seek – I was a ninja at finding the best hiding spots. I also started joining after-school activities like art club and dance classes. My parents could barely keep up with my busy schedule!Another big change for me was becoming a big sister when I was in second grade. My little brother Jacob was born, and at first, I was a little jealous of all the attention he got. But then I realized how fun it was to have a baby brother to play with and take care of. I liked helping my mom feed him and rock him to sleep. Of course, he also cried a lot which drove me crazy! But overall, I enjoyed being a big sis.Third grade was a tough year for me. I started struggling with some of my schoolwork, especially math. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't wrap my brain around adding and subtracting big numbers. I would get so frustrated that I wanted to give up. But my mom and dad never let me quit. They got me a tutor who helped me practice using fun games and flashcards.。

Change is an inevitable part of life. As we grow older, we experience various changes in different aspects of our lives. From physical changes like growing taller or losing baby teeth, to emotional changes like making new friends or dealing with loss, change is a constant presence.

One significant change that I experienced during my second year of elementary school was transitioning to a new teacher. The change brought a mix of emotions - excitement for a fresh start, anxiety about the unknown, and sadness for leaving behind the familiar. I had grown comfortable with my previous teacher and forming a new bond with someone else felt overwhelming.
