Well, the colorful place I'd like to talk about is Jiuzhaigou Valley. It is a national park
located in the north of Sichuan, aprovince in south westernChina.I went there for travelling
last summer holiday. It's a fairyland with crystalclear, strange-colored blue, green and
purplish pools, lakes, waterfalls andother beautiful features.
What impressed memost was the five-color pond. It is the smallest but most spectacular
lake in Jiuzhaigou. Despite its very modest dimensions and depth, it has a richly colored

wonderful thing is that the lake doesn't freeze while the others are frozen in winter.
The lake is full of color for several reasons. Firstly, it's because of the refraction.
