船舶装运精矿粉须知

Instruction for shipping fine ore

精矿粉是将原矿粉碎,经物理或化学的选矿法去除杂质后所得到的品质和纯度较高的矿粉。因选矿方法不同,含水量有差异,有干、湿精矿之分。经过机械碾压粉碎的称为干精矿,含水量较低;以水浮选法生产的称为湿精矿,含水量在8%左右(英国规定7%,日本规定8%以上者为湿精矿粉。)

Fine ore is crushed by ore, beneficiation by physical or chemical method to remove impurities and the purity of the resulting higher quality of ore. Because of different methods for mineral processing, water content are different. There are dry and wet fine ore. After mechanical RCC, we can get the dry fine ore with the low water content; Taking water flotation method, we can get the wet fine ore, with the water content of about 8% (United Kingdom the provisions of 7%, Japan provided more than 8% for the wet ore.)

1.干精矿Dry ore

1.1.干精矿为粉末状,主要产地是南美,含水量约在5%左右;近年来我国也有批量出口。

其主要危险是:

1.1.1.船舶遇风浪横摇,易造成舱内干精矿移动使船舶倾侧,危及船、货及人员生命安全。

干精矿静止角在35℃以下时危险性较大,远洋运输应采取止移措施;

2.干精矿一般含有硫化物和游离硫磺,且粉碎过程中易混入空气。一旦受潮或渗入水

份(如通风不当、货物受雨湿、舱内进水等),将起到饱和氧化作用,生成硫酸盐并放热。若热量积聚,使矿体温度升高。当达到硫磺燃点(230℃),会引起货物燃烧;Dry ore generally contain sulfides and free sulfur, and easily mixed with air in the crushing process. Once exposed to moisture or water infiltration, will play a saturated oxidation and generate sulfate and exothermic. If heat is accumulated, the temperature of ore will rise up. When it reach the sulfur burning (230 ℃), which can cause burning of goods.

1.1.3.矿内金属元素经化学作用会放出氢气,积聚在舱内。如与化学品(如溴酸盐、氯酸盐、

碘酸盐)起反应,可能引起爆炸;

The metal element in the ore will release hydrogen by the chemical reaction and accumulate in the holds. As with chemicals (such as in salt, chlorate) has reaction, may explode.

1.1.4.某些干精矿在氧化自热过程中会散发有毒气体,或导致舱内缺氧;

Some dry ores in the oxidation process will emit toxic gases, or cause oxygen tank.

1.1.5.硫化金属矿粉遇海水会使硫化物水解,呈强酸性,对船体及设备有腐蚀危险。Metal sulfide ore in the water will make sulfide hydrolysis, with a strong acid, which has corrosion danger on the hull and equipment.

1.2.干精矿装卸运输管理措施:Dry ore handling and transportation management

1.2.1.装前向货主或主管当局索取精矿粉成份、杂质、含水量证明文件,了解历年来运输

情况,有关危险性质及必须采取的安全措施。若托运单未注明“无害,不属国际海事组织危险货物规定”,或注明“货物无害,但还应注意有可能出现缺氧或产生有毒气体”等字样,则应按国际危规4.2类危险品的要求积载管理(详见危规);Before shipping, authorities for fine ore composition, impurity, moisture proof document from the owner or the competent. 1.2.2.装前检查货舱壁及舱盖水密;货舱应彻底清扫,不应残留任何化工品或可燃物质;
