广东高考英语听说策略

广东省在2020年推出高考英语听说考试,这就对考生的能力提出更高的要求。而英语听说的成绩在其它科目高考之前就公布,所以听说考试的好坏直接影响考生整体发挥,因此英语听说至关重要。英语听说考试包括三部分(Part A Reading Aloud、Part B Role Play和Part C Story Retelling ),其中Part C故事复述,要求考生尽可能使用自己的语言复述,而且复述内容应涵盖尽可能多的原文信息点。本部分强调对篇章的整体性理解和把握,同时考查学生能否恰当地运用自己的语言组织要点信息,并正确而连贯表达的能力。Part C部分占的分值最大,但学生丢分现象严重。而在平时的练习或测试题中,故事复述部分以记叙文为主。笔者根据亲身的教学体会,在此就记叙文复述的技巧做一探讨。

一.在平时的训练和考试中,学生主要存在以下几个问题:

以2020年广州一模听说试题为例(B卷):

1.使用的人称不当,代词he、she分不清。例如:有些学生说成She poured some water in the pot. Some villagers asked what she was doing等。

2.不会正确使用时态。例如:some villagers ask the traveler what he was doing;也有不少学生把ate 误读成eated, died说成dead等。

3.遗漏要点。如特别多的学生漏了故事开头的背景(村庄发生天灾)和故事之后的寓意(秘诀在于:人人都奉献,生活更美好)。

4.句子结构不完整或谓语用错。例如:The villagers hungry.

The crops were died. The whole village was enjoy the soup等。

5.复述时顺序凌乱。一会儿往汤里加tomatoes,一会儿加oil,一会儿加salt,没有按照故事发展的顺序复述,缺乏逻辑性。

6.复述不连贯。有时连续重复某个词或某句话,无法顾及句子的连接和过渡。

二.相应的备考策略

1.确定人称

在复述时,首先要注意原材料的人称,若原材料是第一人称,关键记录作者的所见所闻,复述时也用第一人称,我们在稿纸上记录与第一人称有关的代词(I, my, me );若原材料是第三人称,关键记录中心人物的名字,并记录中心人物与其他人物的关系和他们之间的故事情节,复述时也用第三人称。若是男性,就在稿纸上写上相应的代词(he, his, him),若是女性,也在稿纸上写上相应的代词(she, her),这样就可以避免在复述过程中出现人称混乱的现象。

2.用准时态

记叙文一般是叙述过去的事情,时态一般以过去时为主。所以我们记录时在稿纸上写下动词的过去式,复述时要注意动词过去式的发音,尤其是不规则动词的发音。比如begin的过去式是began,过去分词是begun,同一动词的两种形式读音不同,在复述时要特别注意。3.找准要点

记叙文要点通常包括五个“W”(what、who、when、where、why)和一个“H”(how)。我们在听录音时一定要把记叙文的关键要素记录下来,避免复述时遗漏要点。

4.选准句型

为了避免句子结构或谓语动词出错,我们在准备阶段心里要有底,哪个要点用哪个对应的句型,而且要用有把握的句型,尽量避免太复杂的句式,以免出错丢分。因为本部分的评分标

准重在语法和句子结构的准确性。

5.理好顺序

复述故事中的记叙文复述顺序一般以顺叙为主。这就要求考生有逻辑表达能力,注意表述顺序,不要因为思维的跳跃而打乱复述的顺序,给人前言不搭后语的感觉。因此在听录音时记录好事情发生的时间、地点、起因、过程和结果等,以便复述时故事完整。

6.巧用过渡词

过渡词在文章中起着承上启下、融会贯通的作用。过渡词往往用在地点的转移或时间、事件的转换以及由概括说明到具体叙述时。通过这些过渡词使故事的整体性和连贯性较好地体现出来。常见的过渡词有:long long ago、one day、at first、then、later、afterwards、soon、before、when、while、since、finally、at last、in the end、next、but、or等。三.真题演示

按照上面的策略,在试题中如何实施呢?接着以2020年广州一模听说试题为例(B卷):1.确定人称

在听力材料部分出现了 a poor traveler 和he,所以在记录时考生在稿纸上写下相应的the traveler 以及代词he、his 、him等。

2.用准时态

本材料叙述的是一件发生在过去的事情,材料中出现的时间状语是once,所以考生应该在稿纸上写下一些动词的过去式及过去分词,比如:过去式hit、were、poured、tasted , 过去分词eaten等。

3.找准要点

本材料的关键要素如下:时间: once、one day 地点: a village 人物: a poor traveler 起因: A terrible disaster hit the village. The villagers were hungry. 过程: The traveler made a stone soup with the villagers’contribution. 结果: The whole village was able to enjoy the delicious soup. 所以考生应该在稿纸上尽量记录这些信息。

4.选准句型

本材料叙述起因时可以用以下句型:A terrible disaster hit the village.(主语+谓语+宾语)The villagers were hungry.(主语+连系动词+表语)叙述过程时可以用以下句型:He poured some water in the pot and put it on a small fire.(and连接的并列句)Some villagers asked what he was doing.(what引导的宾语从句)One villager brought him some salt.(主语+谓语+间接宾语+直接宾语)The soup smelled so good.(主语+连系动词+表语)

5.理好顺序

本材料的叙述顺序应该是:旅行者到达小村——生火烧水——放石头——加盐和油——加其它辅料——制成石头汤。

6.巧用过渡词

可供本材料选用的过渡词有:one day(旅行者到达小村)、at first(生火烧水)、then(放石头)、before(煮好之前加盐油)、when(当村民问味道时)、finally(制成美味石头汤)、but(用在故事的寓意中)等。

总之,我们在教学中强调:首先,要做好记录,把记叙文的几大要素记录下来。做笔记时不必讲求字迹工整,而是学会速记,比如记单词的前几个字母、符号和缩写等,记录时一定要留空,以便第二次记录时补充。其次,复述时要自信,感情投入,把握节奏,停顿得当,不要紧张等,听说考试就一定能拿高分。

听力考试速记方法:即用句子当中的核心成分代替整个句子,省去其他起语法功能的连词、冠词、介词等虚词;用阿拉伯数字代替它们的英语表达法。1. 用标志性的字母代替较长的单词

这种方法记比较长的单词、常见的单词及专有名词(人名、地名、国名、组织机构名称等)最好。如:UN 代表the United Nations;GB 代表Great Britain;M 代表mountain;tele 代表telephone等。

2. 用核心成分代替句子

即用句子当中的核心成分代替整个句子,省去其他起语法功能的连词、冠词、介词等虚词;用阿拉伯数字代替它们的英语表达法。如:In Britain anyone who is physically and mentally fit and over the age of seventeen can apply for a driving license.可以速记为:Br. any physi ment fit age17app driv lice. 这些核心成分就为整理答案的内容提供了充分的依据。

3. 用符号表示信息

如用“←”“↑”“→”“↓”等符号表示不同的方向,用“<”表示less than,用“=”表示be equal to,用“>”表示more than,用“( )”表示include。这样既可以节省时间又可以利用图形符号的直观性恢复省略掉的信息。

一、Part A 模仿朗读(Reading Aloud)

本题要求考生观看一段1 分钟左右的配有字幕的视频短片,文本长度约100 个词(You are required to watch a video clip),然后有一分钟时间阅读视频内容的文字稿(Now you have ONEminute to practice reading),接着再对照文字稿听一遍录音(Nowread once again),最后考生对照视频片段的字幕进行模仿朗读(Now read as the speaker in the video)。该部分主要考查考生朗读基本功,包括语音、语调、语速、语气等要素,要求语言表达清晰、流畅、响亮,语速要尽可能做到与视频片段保持一致。那么,考生在平时训练中可以运用以下方法“练功”。

1. 练好朗读基本功。

(1)发音规则:注意以[t]或[d]结尾的词后所加的-ed 或-d

(2)语音手段:注意单词重音、句子的重音、单词的连读、意群与停顿、节奏、句子的语调等。

2. 练好基本功的方法。

(1)磁带学习法:就是选择适当的录音磁带来进行朗读训练。高中英语教材每一模块都配有磁带,录音内容也比较丰富,既有英音也有美音。听的过程中一定要有意识地辨别出重音、弱读、连读、同化、失去爆破、停顿、语调等发音现象。

(2)光盘学习法:由于“英语听说”考试是借助视频来完成的,所以考生可以用与考试同样的形式来训练。在训练时,可以选取合适的配有英文字幕的电影片段,反复观看并进行模仿跟读,同时要把朗读和文段的意境融合在一起。最后,关掉视频,完全做到听一句,跟读一句,逐步提高自己的模仿朗读能力。

(3)影子跟读训练法:选取教材中的重点段落录音,用迟于原录音 1 秒钟的速度去跟读。尽量模仿原音的语音语调,同时要紧跟朗读者的语速,力求语速上也做到与原声一致。

二、Part B 角色扮演(Role Play)

本题要求考生观看一段大约两分钟的视频片段,明确自己拟要扮演的角色以及要完成的任务。看完片段之后(注意:只观看一遍),首先根据中文提示用英语分别提出三个问题,计算机将回答考生的提问(录音听两遍);然后计算机向考生提出五个问题,考生必须根据自己所听到的内容(包括片段中和计算机的回答两部分)回答问题,回答每个问题之前都有10 秒钟的准备时间。

角色扮演在听的方面主要考查考生的听取信息的能力、记忆要点的能力和正确理解问题的能力;在说的方面主要考查考生的口头表达能力,即能在交流中使用恰当的语调、语气和节奏,特别是正确运用语法和选词的能力,有效地根据信息要点表达个人的思想和感情。这就要求考生具备口头索取信息的能力和口头表达的能力。下面就提问部分和回答部分做些策略方面的探讨。

1. 提问部分。

该部分与是否听懂了视频内容无关,实质就是将汉语译成英语。该部分相对较为容易得分。考生提问时需要注意的是:

(1)确定用一般疑问句还是特殊疑问句,并注意疑问句的语调;

(2)正确使用疑问词。例如问对方对某人或某事物的看法,用What do you think of...?或How do youlike...?多久,用how long;多久以后,用how soon;多久一次,用how often;多少(钱),用how much;多少(个,只,张……),用how many;多大(年纪),用how old;多大(体积),用how big 等。如:你认为成功的关键是什么?

What do you think is the key to success?

北部是沙漠吗?

Is the north desert?

你被允许看多少东西?

How much were you allowed to see?

2. 回答问题部分。

该部分侧重考查考生听取信息和正确输出语言的能力,对听力和速记均有较高的要求。做该部分时要注意:

(1)观看英文短片时要留意前面的情景提示部分,明确自己要扮演的角色及要完成的任务。

(2)不要过多地关注画面,而应把注意力集中在听取信息上,边听边快速记下一些重要细节,如人物(who)、事件(what)、时间(when)、地点(where)、原因( why) 、程度( how long/soon/much) 、数字( howmany/much) 等信息以及信息之间的联系。

(3)完成英文提问后要认真听计算机自动回答部分,并简单做笔记,记录重要信息,这是五答所需的重要信息来源。

(4)认真听清计算机所问问题,特别是疑问词,判断问题所涉及的信息点,根据所记,做出正确回答。

(5)回答问题时,尽量用简单句。问什么答什么,不必多答,更不要答非所问。也可以用简略回答。如:

—How did you spend your time?

—Stay in the camp.

这就要求考生平时要有针对性地做一些汉译英的练习,尤其是疑问句;要熟悉疑问句的结构并能自由运用疑问词。同时要多加强听力训练。训练是可选用听力考试里的听取信息题,有意识地培养边听边做笔记的能力;也可选用听力理解题,但在做题时要遮住选项,自己说出答案。

三、Part C 故事复述(Retelling)

该节是一段大约两分钟的独白,体裁主要是记叙文或议论文,录音播放两次。考生准备一分钟后开始复述所听内容。要求考生尽可能用自己的语言进行复述,而且复述内容应涵盖尽可能多的原文信息点。故事复述主要考查考生宏观获取篇章脉络的能力、组织要点的能力,能够理解所听材料的观点,能尽量使用自己的语言和恰当的语调、语气和节奏复述所听的内容。这就要求考生要具备连贯表达的能力、正确使用语法及词汇的能力、语言重组的能力等。那么我们在平时如何来培养和提高这方面的能力呢?

1. 听取录音方面:注意开头和结尾,把握文章的中心思想,整体理解要复述的故事内容;记下重要信息的关键词,如事情发生的地点、时间、先后顺序、起因和结果、有关的人物及其相互关系等。

2.复述故事方面:明确复述时要使用的时态、人称;明确人物关系,不要将事情张冠李戴;复述时要抓住重点,不必详细描述每个细节;复述要连贯,不要断断续续,也不要连续重复某个词或某句话。故事复述可分为三个步骤:

(1)在听故事前阅读故事梗概和5 个关键词,发挥想象,预测故事内容。

(2)第一次听故事时,要整体把握故事大意,并作简单记录。故事一般应是记叙文,按照记叙文的基本要素,应着重听清故事中的人物及其相互关系,故事发生的时间、地点、起因、经过、结果、以及故事给我们的启示或蕴含的中心思想等。我们要注意听清楚故事的标题、首句和尾句。

(3)第二次听故事时,可在原记录的基础上,适当补充完善细节。然后理清思路,连词成句,有节奏地、流畅地把所听到的内容复述出来。考生平时可通过阅读材料来联系,如在材料上划出关键词,尝试串联这些词并用自己的语言丰富细节,组成故事

广东高考英语听说考试满分经验 我是今年(2017年)6月毕业的广东考生,很幸运的是,我听说考试拿了满分。其实这个不确定因素很大,最最重要是考试时候的状态。 1、我先跟你说说考试那会的事吧。一般来说一个班里总会有那么些人被分在了同一个考试的语音室,进去以后尽量跟听力好的人在一起,那里的隔音效果都不会好,所以你很容易听到别人的答案(当然最好是你自己确定答案,那时我们有一个考试语音室的人跟着大家喊同一个答案,结果都错了)。 2、考试分3部分,第一部分是电脑给一段视频(英文配音英文字幕,一般是介绍某个动物或者地方的视频),电脑第一次放视频的时候,你不要急着跟读,留意出现的陌生单词的读音,快速笔记,之后它给出原文文字并停1分钟左右给你练习,快速读一遍,记下不会读的单词,等下一次播音,记住,前面几句一定一定要读的非常非常熟,据一些老师的说法,很多评分员只听前几句,因为他们要听很多份也会疲倦。第三次放音的时候跟读。然后就是你自己跟着视频字幕读了,一定记住,读的时候不要结巴,一定要大声而且装作很有底气的样子,我听过自己的录音,声音有没有底气效果出来真的差很多,就算你突然忘了某个单词怎么读也要流利的随便读一个过去,老师有时是听不出你读错没有,但他肯定能听出你是否流利。所以一定要集中精神。 3、第二部分是念一段话然后让你对着中文字幕翻译几个问题,在回答他英文问的无字幕的问题,开始的一段话是读一遍,所以一定要听清而且一定要做笔记,非常快那种缩写笔记。我那时候因为第二部分好几题没听清,所以跟着旁边的女生喊的答案,其实我也不知道我喊的是什么,不过当你真的不知答案的时候,认真听旁边的答案,跟着念,一定要念的像,就算你不知道他喊得是啥,只要在时间范围内迟一点答题也没关系的。很奇怪的是,我跟着旁边的女生念,她14分,我15分满分了。所以我想应该是老师听着你的读音跟正确答案比较像就给分了,而且我念的很有气-装作很肯定答案的样子。 4、第三部分是电脑念一篇短文(一般是故事)念两遍,然后给时间你整理练习,之后自己复述故事内容。听的时候一定要做笔记,越详细越好。这一部分的评分标准是一共有那么十几个要点,答对一个就给相应的分数,所以念的很罗嗦也没关系,尽可能把你听到的信息说出来。而且,还是那句话,念的要有底气!一定要流利! 5、说说平时吧,找几十份听力练习题,就是考试形式的那种,可以买一本专门的广东听说训练的练习册,配光碟的,英语双语报也有相关联系。然后就是不断地练习了,练的时候找好节奏,就是听的过程中怎样记笔记的问题,你最好找到一种英文单词缩写的办法(自己能看明白的)因为考试那时候真的没时间记完所有信息,要学会简写重点的词,联系时一个是练你的听力,一个试炼你的记笔记的能力技巧。 6、如果你的听力真的很差那种,那么你要恶补一下了,去网上下一些听力(可以是疯狂英语的听力,一篇篇短文的那种,跟考试录音比较像)每天睡前起床必须要听,最好吃饭也听,而且要尽力听懂,这比较难,不过这样你坚持一个星期效果肯定出来了。我听力一般般,这样在睡前听几篇,一个星期后能听比较快的英文了。 7、对了,补充一点小细节,考试的时候每一段录音放完后会滴一声然后进入答题时间,你会看到一个倒计时间的条,记住,别太赶着答题,有时候滴一声后1-3秒内电脑还没进入录音状态,我练习时有一次就是太急了有几个单词念出来没被录进电脑。。 这是我本身的一些经验,希望对你有帮助,不要太紧张,考前一定要睡好,个人感觉考场上状态比平时重要,退一万步讲,我们那届分数出来分数段在9-15分,15分很少,14分
