晚上好!今天我要为大家讲的课题是:九年级Unit4 I used to be afraid of the dark Section A 3a-3c阅读部分. 我将从教材分析、学情分析、教学目标、教学方法及设计意图、教学过程、教材处理原则、板书设计(略)等六个方面进行说课。

下面就让我先开始进行教材分析,通俗点也就是对本节课的教学内容作一个介绍. 本篇文章描述了一个性格腼腆的小姑娘实现自我完美成为流行歌星的故事,是典型的叙事性文体.文章首先介绍人物背景,其次介绍主人翁的变化或成就,最后概说主人翁给读者带来的经验或者启迪.本课教学的目的在于拓展语言知识、发展技能及阅读策略的同时,向学生传递出关注自我发展和自我完善的重要性。

学情分析:本单元的第一课学生们都能够运用“used to be/use to do”描述自己或他人过去常常做的事情;发现自己或他人在外表、性格、兴趣等方面所发生的变化。这为本节课学生完成阅读任务打下了一定的基础。另外,我所任教的两个班学生总体英语素养以及课堂参与热情也有一定的差异,这就要求在教学任务设计方面要有所不同. 教学目标:

教学目标: 教学目标根据《英语课程标准》的教学理念,教材特点以及学生的实际情况,将本课时的教学目标确定如下:1、Knowledge

Objects(1)Key Vocabulary:shyness, crowd, background, interview, Asian, dare, private, guard, require, deal with, in public, tons of, not…any more, appear to, (2)Target Language……略 2.Ability Objects(1) 读前根据标题和相关图片预测文章中心主题的能力.(2) 读中通过找关键词、关键句概括段落大意的能力。(3). 读后根据文章主要线索和关键信息进行语言综合输出的能力3、Moral Objects 让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养学生积极向上的心态。教学重点:学生能够在教师的引导下顺利完成阅读任务,同时掌握新的语言点。难点:如何顺利开展读后的语言拓展项目对我来说是一项巨大的挑战。

说教法:由于英语是一门综合性与实践性相结合的科目,本课主要采用情景教学法、任务型教学法,充分发挥教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用,通过课件设计将阅读任务清晰明了地展现在学生面前,从而把学生吸引到活动中去。另外在课堂教学中巧妙运用教学艺术,适当安排自学、小组合作等活动,鼓励学生勇于说,乐于说,将学生阅读能力升华为语言输出能力。

教学步骤:分为读前,读中,读后三个环节。每个环节的形式,任务不尽相同。

Step 1 Pre-reading

本节课读前活动分两部分:

Lead-in

教师引导学生运用上节课学习到的“used to b和used to do”

谈论自己的同学或者好朋友过去与现在的变化。紧接着呈现周杰伦过去与现在的照片,让学生描述。引出教师自己喜爱的歌手-陈梓童。在让学生在教师的带领下谈谈陈的过去与现在的变化,结合图片创设的情景,引出文章中即将出现的重点词汇并进行机械操练。这样做的目的主要是为了自然引出本课的another singer, 亦是本课主人翁:T: Do you know who is my favourite singer ? Guess!

【设计意图】温故而知新,以学生们感举的流行歌手的变化为背景,并利用情景教学法,学习新词汇。

Make a prediction

根据文章图片以及文章标题,提出问题让学生进行讨论:

T: Everyone surly changes a lot. OK. Today let’s meet another singer. If you want to know more about her. Please look at the picture in the textbook,What do you think the girl in the picture is doing? What’s she like? Is she outgoing or is she shy?

简单交流过后,呈现课文标题,抛出问题:What do you think the reading passage is about?

【设计意图】借助插图和题目“From Shy Girl to Pop Star”,初步感知预测文章内容,在语言和内容上做好阅读准备。

Step 2. While-reading

Task 1 Skimming

让学生浏览3a活动的要求及方框中段落的大意,确认学生理解方框中的内容。随后让学生快速阅读文章,identify key words in each paragraph,将归纳的段落大意跟各段配对。核对答案,并归纳总接本节阅读课重要阅读策略-如何归纳段落大意,要找关键词,根据关键词进行归纳总结,或者每段第一句话或者最后一句话。

【设计意图】通过对各段的阅读根据关键词进行匹配。通过此练习学生能够感受到,关键词的确定对于总结各段段落大意的重要性。关键词会在段落中反复出现或体现主

Task 2 Scanning

让学生读第一段,回答以下问题: (1) How old is Candy Wang? (2) What was she like? (3) Why did she take up singing? (4) What’s she like now? 学生回答完之后,根据PPT投影出的答案,可以引导学生结第一段作一个简短的复述,也是为读后整篇文章的复述作准备.

【设计意图】通过回答问题, 对主人公的background有了基本的了解, 以此来培养学生获取文章信息的能力.同时,因为所提问题浅而易懂,它有助于不同层次学生大面积的参与以满足学生的成就感,激发学生的兴趣,使课堂气氛活跃。

【设计意图】阅读完成表格的任务是对比主人公前后生活的变化, 以此完成对文章整体框架结构以及细节的理解,同时表格的呈现体现本篇文段的核心语言结构“used to”和“Used to be” , 让重要语言点在学生输出的过程中得到进一步操练巩固。

Step 3 Post –reading

阅读后的活动是检查阅读理解效果和巩固运用语言材料的阶段。教师不但要让学生练习、巩固和扩展在阅读过程中新学到的语言知识,还要发展其说或者写的能力。在这个环节,教师应该根据学生实际英语水平设计不同活动促进学生对阅读内容的内化和吸收。

读后第一步:让学生大声读课文,划出生词和短语,并尽力猜测其中文释义。如果有困难,可以在课后单词表查询。呈现重点短语和句子,做汉译英练习。

【设计意图】巩固语言点,为后面的阅读拓展做铺垫。

第二步:紧接着不同的班级设置不同的的语言输出任务:在表现欲强的班级给学生三分钟时间准备,根据mind map, 复述文章。鼓励学生主动展示。给学生犯口头语法错误机会,鼓励学生大胆开口表达。

表现欲望总体不佳的班级,让学生小组合作,组织一场新闻发布会3c,每组推荐一个人扮演Candy Wang, 其他人扮演各路记者。News conference 发布会

其余学生: 背诵文章,课间完成,有加分考核。

设计意图:学生根据自己的不同水平选择不同层次的作业,激发后进生的学习兴趣,培养学习尖子,符合因材施教的原则。

纵观我这篇教学设计,我个人觉得我运用了科学的教材处理方法,主要体现在以下几个方面:加:根据课型需要增加其它教学资源或者实践方式;换:将更适合学生的内容和方式替换教材中原有的内容和方式。
