心理学与初中英语

摘要：心理学研究的重点是在教育的干预之下的学生的学习成效和所产生的学

习心理。教育心理学将心理学的某些相关理论应用到教育领域。在初中英语课堂中，教师有意识地运用教育心理学的理论，在充分地了解初中生的行为特点和心

理状态的基础上，更好地开展教学工作，活跃课堂气氛，提高学生的学习效率，

提高教师的教学质量。教师要在充分地研究教学课程内容的基础之上，灵活地将

教育心理学的内容运用到实际的教学活动中。本文根据初中英语课堂的特点，通

过对几种主要的教育心理学理论进行介绍，分析了其在初中英语课堂中应用的意

义以及方法。

一、运用心理学客观地分析初中学生英语学习的两极分化现象

英语是一门大科学，对于农村学生比较陌生，个别学生在小学从未接触过英语，因为农村比较缺英语教师，而小学升到初中，他们都有一种很兴奋的心情。

刚刚接触到英语既好奇又担心。原本非常感兴趣的，由于随着单词的增多，语法

的出现，听说读写跟着提高的要求，有些学生一时难以适应。要加上农村家长大

部分没有英语基础，学习英语的气氛比较薄弱，学生开始流露出畏难的情绪。因此，慢慢地就形成了两极分化的现象：一部分学生感到英语难学，逐渐失去了学

习英语的信心，接着开始掉队，从而拉开了优、差生的距离，这些英语学习有困

难的学生往往是单词背不过，句子记不住，又不明白英语句子的意思，加之英语

的句型和汉语又不相同，所以早就英语学习成绩差，这样课堂上跟不上老师的讲课，产生了英语学习的各种恐惧心理，严重地影响了英语学习的效率，自然降低

了英语学习的成绩。

二、运用心理学采取灵活多样的教学方法，培养初中学生学习英语的兴趣

根据心理学兴趣的意义：兴趣会对人的认识和活动产生积极的影响，但却不

一定有利于提高工作的质量和效果。兴趣具有社会制约性,人所处的历史条件不同,社会环境不同，其兴趣就会有不同的特点。

针对农村初中生的年龄特点：好动、自我约束力弱、自我控制力都不强等。

教学不能进行机械的讲解，不能采取“填鸭式”的方法对学生灌输枯燥无味的英语

知识，应采用灵活多样的教学方式，多设计一些表演的活动，满足他们的表演欲望，如pairwork，角色表演，根据所学内容，编一些小品，让学生扮演角色自己

上讲台上表演等等。在平时的教学中，我喜欢找一些流行歌曲的英文版放给他们听，特别是能够激励学生上进的歌曲，例如：《铃儿响叮当》激发学生的积极向

上的情绪，在激动奋进的熟悉的旋律中感受到英语的极大热情，他们在听过之后

都有蠢蠢欲试的渴望，然后我进一步引导他们大胆开口唱英语歌曲，大胆开口说

英语，上课同桌之间用英语进行交流，下课后鼓励学生与学生之间，学生与老师

之间用英语对话，我身先示范，尽量用英语与学生交流。当他们进行口语的时候，我会用这一些英语单词来表扬他们：“Very good！”“Great！”“You are

clever！”“Well done！”不断地鼓励学生，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，经常用英语

赞许的语言表扬学生，使学生的信心大增，越学越有劲，现在我所任教的班级口

语都很不错。学生和我都有成就感，师生之间相处非常融洽。

三、运用心理学与学生建立融洽的师生关系，消除学生的焦虑心理

根据心理学尊重的意义：在价值、尊严、人格等方面与求助者平等，把求助

者作为有思想感情、内心体验、生活追求和独特性与自主性的活生生的人去对待。
