Passage 2
Xiaofan, a smart（聪明）boy from Shenzhen, used to （过去，常常）（be used to 习惯于）have difficulty in getting up on time（准时）（in time及时）, and his alarm （闹钟，警报）clock was of no use at all. It made him very upset（沮丧）. One day, he had a good idea.
