Unit 7 I′m going to be a basketball player

[教学目标]

一、知识目标

能够熟练的听、说和认读句型:What are you going to be when you grow up?

I′m going to be an actor.How are you going to do that? I′m going to take acting lessons.

二、能力目标

能运用句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? I′m going to be…How are you going to do that? I′m going to…”与别人进行谈话与交流。

三、情感目标

1. 通过趣味性的活动,激发学生学习英语的热情。

2. 营造积极、和谐的学习氛围,帮助学生建立学习的成就感和自信心。[教学重、难点]

在情景中,能够综合、灵活地运用学过语言知识。′′

[教学过程]

一、Warm-up

1、Greetings

2、Asking students a question:What are you going to be when you grow up?…在与学生进行完一个对话后,安排一个pair work.然后叫学生起来展示(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,调动学生积极性,从而引出本课话题)

二、Presentation

1、T: Today we’ll learn Unit 4 I′m going to be a basketball player.

(1)Looking at the aims

For knowledge…

For ability…

For emotion…

(2)运用句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? I′m going to be…How are you going to do that? I′m going to…”与学生进行对话,然后让学生进行pair work,板书重点句型,再让学生起来展示。

(设计意图:让学生初步整体感知课文,学习新句型,学生学起来生动形象,乐学,易懂)

(3)Listening practice.

听两遍:第一遍Listen.what is Cheng Han going to do?check the correct boxes in the picture.

第二遍Listen again. What are Cheng Han′s plans for the future?Fill in the chart.

(设计意图:进一步巩固句型及课文的学习,目的是使学生能在练习中达到灵活运用。)

三、Practice.

1、通过师生对话的方式练习句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? I′m going to be…How are you going to do that? I′m going to…”;然后让学生运用学的句型写一篇小作文,学生写完后再展示

2、做练习题。Choose the best answer.学生做完后进行展示。

(设计意图:巩固所学到的新句型。)

四. Summary.

五. Homework:
