③网络低俗语言的使用，主要有以情绪发泄为目的的网络谩骂、以恶意中伤为手段的语言暴力、以粗鄙低俗为个性的网民表达等三方面的现象。部分网民在不深入了解事实的情况下，将情绪性的谩骂宣泄向公共空间。现实社会里的粗鄙化市侩化的语言也在互联两上蔓延开来，并经由网络再创造，如野草一般疯长，论坛、微博、微信中广泛应用的污言秽语污染了语言环境的清洁。据统计，2014年全年中，12个网络低俗用词的原发微博数量达到百万次以上，4个网络低俗用词的原发微博数量达到了千万次以上。
④值得注意的是，网络语言低俗化向传统媒体转移已有显现，—些网络低俗用语竟堂而皇之地成为某些报纸的标题，某些主持人在电视节目中公然把“屌丝”等低俗用语常挂嘴边。部分文化载体无视媒体的社会责任，也加入到了语言暴力的恶俗狂欢乏中。
