暨南大学翻译硕士专业学位研究生培养方案 （专业学位类别码：055200 方向：笔译） 一、学科简介 暨南大学翻译专业硕士学位（MTI）于2010年获教育部批准，2011年正式招生。该专业经学校研究决定由暨南大学外国语学院和翻译学院共同建设。 外国语学院的前身是创办于1927年的外国语言文学系，历史上曾有许多著名专家学者在该系任教，如叶公超、梁实秋、钱钟书、许国璋教授等。外国语学院于2001年在原文学院外语系和大学英语教学中心的基础上成立，目前该院已拥有英语语言文学系、商务英语系、日语系、大学英语教学部四个教学单位；有外国语言文学研究所、应用语言学研究所两个专门科研机构；拥有外国语言文学硕士一级学科，英语语言文学、外国语言学及应用语言学两个硕士二级学科。其中英语语言文学硕士点（1981）是暨南大学最早取得硕士学位授予权的单位之一，曾以文学为主、专长翻译。著名学者翁显良、曾昭科、鸾铃、谭时霖、黄均、黄锡祥等教授曾先后担任导师。 翻译学院是在外国语学院英语专业翻译方向的基础上于2010年6月成立，现有“翻译研究所”和“翻译中心”两个教学研究与实践基地。 外国语学院和翻译学院现有英语教授10人，副教授50余人，其中博士生导师2人，硕士生导师21人。目前，研究生导师主持国家社科基金项目5项，省部级人文社科项目近20项，在外语类和社科类权威期刊发表论文数十篇。 二、培养目标 翻译专业硕士学位（MTI）旨在培养德、智、体全面发展、能够适应我国经济飞速发展和全球经济一体化进程，以及提高我国在国际竞争中的综合实力需求、适应我国社会发展与建设的需要高层次、应用型、专业性笔译人才。 笔译分为英译中和中译英两大部分，其中包括文学翻译、科技翻译、商务翻译和法律翻译等。笔译为书面语，要求译文要忠实原文，因此双语译文的准确、完整、严谨是对译文的高标准要求，尤其当译文涉及国际协议、条约、合同、国际会议文件、政府外交声明、领导人讲话稿等，对笔译的准确度则要求更高。因而译文需要校阅，最大限度地符合原文的容。此外，笔译亦要求行文通畅，用词恰当、表述准确。 本研究方向旨在培养具有较高笔译水平，能够熟练掌握翻译基本方法，具备扎实笔译功力的高层次应用型笔译专业人才，以适应我国经济、文化和社会发展的需求，提高国家在国际的竞争力。
