On a snowy winter night，a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road．And all of them were trapping in the bus and what was worse，the bus ran out of gas and it is very cold in it．They could do nothing but to wait for help．A man who lived nearby saw what happened．He and some villagers managed to open the door and helped all of them out of bus．He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children．They spent two days in their home and finally helps came．All of them were thankful with his help．

One day I went shopping at a gift shop in Shanghai. I was greatly interesting and I lost me in beautiful goods. After I paid for that I had bought, I left my handbag on the counter. There was about two thousands yuan in it. I had already walked out of the shop while a young shop assistant walked up to me in my handbag. He insisted on my check it. I opened the handbag and found nothing losing. I thanked him and offered him a reward of 100 yuan, he refused to take anything. I was deeply moved by his selfless act on that day. 3．

Nowaday more and more people dream of be famous, and the internet has become a new approach to this. On the Internet, many young people may be familiar to a group called “Backroom boy”. The group caught people’s eye because its funny perform. They just pretend be singing while in fact the sound is made by the original voice from video. When asked why they do this for the first time, they said,” We like playing jokes to each other.. There were some foreign videos online, looks very funny and interesting. So we decided to make our own. Just for a fun.

One day, my whole family went to climb the big hill. My father and mother told my elder sister and I that the first one to get to the top of the hill would be give a toy. Hear this, we began to run up. At first I kept ahead, but a few minute later my si ster was ahead me. However, I didn’t give up. I reached the top firstly in the end. We enjoy the beautiful scenery and had a picnic on the top of the hill. I was the most happiest one all the time, because I not only won a toy and also learnt that one shou ldn’t give up easily.

I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds view that senior three students have to make fully use of every

minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll unable to co ntrol myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day’s hard works. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and at abroad. Thus, we shouldn’t be forbidden to watch TV.

This morning on my way to school I was deep moved by what I saw outside a bank. An old man was counting his money in the front of the bank. Suddenly a young man came running and knocked him down. To make things bad, his money was lying in all direction. At once the people around rush to pick the money up, while the old man stood there, not know what to do. Surprisingly, everyone gave back the money they had just picked. The old man counted the money again and found that not a single bill was missed. To my great joy, there are now a lot of ni ce people in your life. It’s tr ue what honesty is more important than money!

Dear friends,

It is real a good chance to have met all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in learning in the English Club. Although we have been members for a short period of times, we have made a great progress. That is because we are all very much active and the activities are not only enjoyable and also helpful. Besides, the foreign teachers here work hard and try his best to make the activities lively and interested. I am very pleased to say that all of us greatly improved our spoken English so far. I am looking forward to see all of you again in the near future!

The day before yesterday, my classmates and me went to the park near my school. Can you guess that what we did there? Not for amusement but to take part in a volunteer labour. They reached the park at nine o'clock. The whole class divided into three groups. Group One planted trees and watered flowers. Group Two was told to pick up litter leaving by the tourists and cleaned all the benches. The group where I was in wiped all the equipments in the Children's Playground. All of us worked hardly. Before noon we finished working. Each of us fell a little bit tired, so we were happy because we had done a good deed. 9．

Yesterday morning, I was surprising to hear that my best friend Allee has been hit by a car and was in hospital. The other day when he was going to cross a street, he was such careful that he didn’t go until he saw the traffic light to turn green. But hardly had he got to the middle of the street while he saw a car

suddenly appear on his right-hand side and come directly towards them. It was too late for Allee to escape. He was hit by the car or was thrown a few meters away. He was sent to the nearest hospital immediately and had operation. When I went to see him, he was out of dangers but still looked pale. I sincere hope he will recover and return to normal as soon as possible.

Lucy was one of my best friend at high school. At that time, we often spend time together. Thanks to his great help, I made much progress of my study. Last year, she decided to study abroad. That is to say, we would no longer see and talk with each other for long time. After her leaving, I prepared a gift to show my best wishes to her. She said it was the most best gift she had ever had. From then, we’ve kept in touch with each other through E-mails. I look forward to see her again.

I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb.16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in London, where was my favorite. I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much more old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in the Britain was that I made a lot of friends there.

In order to improve our English, an English evening is going to held in our school dining hall. It will start from 7:30 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m. the next Friday. You will enjoy English stories at the “evening”. Some English songs wil l also be singing. What’s more, some English poems and short plays will he performed, either. In addition, Mr. and Mrs. Brown from Canada, working in our school, together with his children, will be invited to our “evening”. They will give us wonderfully performances. Everybody is welcome to attending the “evening”. We hope all of you can be there on time and will appreciate the performances. We also hope your English will be greatly improve after this “evening”.

Rose left for school when she was seventeen and then went to a college for a year to learn type. She passed her examinations quite smooth and then went to look for work. A lot of people are looking for typists at that time, but it was not difficult to find an interesting job. Rose went to several office, and at last chose one of them. It was near his house. She thought, “ I’ll walk there every morning.

I won’t need to go in bus.” Sh e went to the office again and said to the

manager, "I want to work there, but what will you pay me?"

"We'll pay you 27 pounds now, and 30 pounds after three months."

Rose thought for a few seconds, then she say, "All right, then I'll start in three months time".

With the mid-term exam come, you must get prepared for them. I think that you need is a right study method. As we all know, there are three stage in study--- preview, study in class and review, among which review was the most important. You should first make a review plan, then stick on it. I follow my review plan strictly and have made a progress in my study. It turns out to be good enough. Of course, there are more than one way to review. We may meet in our school library every Friday afternoon.

My spare time is full of interested activities. I read all kinds of books in the reading room whenever I am free. I learn much in the library than in class in this way. Meanwhile, I participated in many sports activities, of that my favorite is volleyball. I often play volleyball after the school. Sports and games keep me healthy and energetic enough to get across a variety of difficulties. Sometime I go in for social practice with my classmates outside school. Thus, I can gain much social experiences. Out-of-class activities are quite necessary for our students. Through these activities we can learn many things can not be learned in class.

It was 2:10 in the afternoon when I entered the classroom. I was surprising to see our teacher operating the video camera. Most of us have never been in front of a video camera before, but we were very nervous. As for myself, I had once faced it at home. My uncle shot as we were celebrating for my sister’s birthday. However, this was complete different. We had to talk about our articles as if we were reading news on TV. The funny thing was every time I tried to face the cameras and talked about my articl e, I forgot the article and couldn’t help look down at it. It was quite a different experience for me, thanks to our teacher. 17．

Today is Sunday. We had not lessons. After breakfast I wanted to do with my homework when Li Lei rang me. He asked me to go to the cinema with he. I agreed, but I have to finish my homework first. About an hour later，we went out. In the way we saw Kate; she was mending her bike. She looked very worry. “Let us help you.” Li Lei and I all said. “All right.” And we stopped to help her.

There was nothing much wrong with the bike, so it cost us only several minutes time to finish it. Kate was very thankful. When we hurried the cinema, the film had been on for ten minutes. But we felt happy.

One cold day, an aged lady was sent for her doctor. When he came, she tells him that her right leg was very sore(酸痛)in the knee. The pain sometimes was bad enough to make it walking difficult. She asked him how the trouble could be because she had never before suffered some similar discomfort. After make a carefully examination, the doctor said, “You are in a very good state of health for a woman of your age. I think the trouble in your right knee is just matter of old age. We get diseases as we get old. The trouble will clear up on spring!” “Nonsense, doctor!” she said, “My left knee is perfect, and it is exactly same age as my right.”

I often dream of become a teacher. I dream of standing on the platform in the classroom and give lessons to lovely boy and girls. I teach them, play with them, but watch them growing up. I am always young when I was staying with them.

I know there is not easy to be a teacher. You have to learn in order to teach. Without enough knowledges, you can never teach well. What’s more, you have to be friends with your students and take good care of him. Only in this way

can you be a good teacher and win respect from them. Though I am student now, I still work hard to make my dream to come true.

On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great diversity of robots. It was amazed to find those robots could do a great number of things just as real people do, included playing chess, playing the piano and draw pictures. Besides, the robots were in different kinds and shapes, which makes us delighted. However, that excited me most was the show given by a group of robots. They danced even if they were dancers on the stage. By visiting Robot World, I have learned a lot of about robots, especially about their functions. The great human wisdom is so powerfully that it makes us feel more comfortable live in the world.

I always wanted to be great scientist. I had a dream of discovering a new drug that would save hundreds of people’s life.
