I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to pop a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,Today I

want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream about life.

Every one has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longerthe dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

Life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always confort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .

So bear in mind your dream and never give up your dream easily. look into the great people’s experiences, you may

find the truth that good dream makes a good one, because there is nothing like a dream to create the future and build up our body .

Finally ,I would suggest. Have a dream in mind and keep pursuing on it. Try to use your time sensibly, do what you should do to make your dream come ture. Although it is a hard job to get to the top of your dreaming mountain, but as the saying says, “mountain’s high, but man makes the peak”. There is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.

First, health is the secret of happiness . Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.

Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.

An English proverb says that time is money. I consider itwrong. Why? Because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time . For this reason, we maysay that time is more valuable than money.Many people do not know the value of time. Itis indeed a great pity. We must bearin mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.

Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me.

When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here.

Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. Love Letter--To one girl ,love is untrue, but to the other girl is unknown.

Dear tutor and classmates, it is my honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Friday afternoon to share with

you my sentiments about the Movie--Love Latter. This story is about a secret love found together by two girls, whom to my point of view, one gets the love but proved to be untrue, and the other gets the true love but unknown. But to the indirect appeared hero , male itsuki fujii, what a pity that he eventually can not get the responsive love. The move attracts me because the male itsuki fujii does something for me that most of us have a secret love, pure, true but unspeakable. At first, I think what Hiroko Watanabe does, trying to send the greeting letter to his late fiance is childish. But the replying letter ‘I’m fine,and I only have a cold’makes me as surprisedas Hiroko Watanabe. Maybe, only the ridiculous action can reveal the secret, though with some slight sadness. Then, the movie presents us a complex structure of narrating the story. Hiroko Watanabe’s insisting of writing

letter indicates her total immersion in Male itsuki fujii’s love and her eager to know his everything. One the other hand, Female itsuki Fujii realizes the truth that Male itsuki fujii loves her in the total middle school times by recalling the past. One girl loses Male itsuki fujii’s love in the process of knowing his past, but the other girl finds out the truth to had been loved unknown. What a tragedy! I barely face the story. A idea suddenly strikes me,’Love me little and love me long.’

In the last of the movie, Female itsuki Fujii shouted again and again towards the snow-covered mountains male itsuki fujii ever crashed, ‘Mr. itsuki fujii , how are you doing? I miss you-- I miss you--I miss you.’In the meantime, the remote Female itsuki Fujii with serious sickness seems to receive the shouting. I think this kind of response is a happy relief to Hiroko Watanabe, a pleasant memory to Female

itsuki Fujii and the true emotion that two girls convey tomale itsuki fujii.

The secret love is waiting for the girl toif she finds nothing, she loses nothing. Thanks for your listening.

My part. I want to discuss why I love this film. You see I list two points. First, true-to-life. In China our film which describe a people living a curious life or a legend always gives that people a perfect quality, perfect behaviors and makes him an example. In fact,

everyone who watches that film may not feel those people are one of us. Let’s see this film. All people in it are not perfect person. Like Benjamin have gone to the brothel , fall in love with a married woman and Dasiy spend youthful days with many boys. Because of those behaviors I feel they are people with flesh and blood, like the one who may just lives next door. All this makes me into the story.

Then let’s see another point. Why I say the film have encouraged me?

Look at this sentence: Benjamin, we are meant to lose the people we love. How else would we know how important they are to us? I don’t know whether it works when you read it. But it gives me strength when facing the past of the people I love. You know at our age no matter we are ready to deal with that thing or not. Death always coming.

Ok . Let us end the presentation with the plot at the end of the film Although we walking in different way. You never need feel you are different. Be the best you and head for the destination the destiny prepares for us in the same way.

My Thought on The Japanese Movie ‘Departures’

As an English major student, I always reject Japanese movies. Besides, I have no interest in movies about death. But after

watching the Departures, I was moved. My thoughts seemed activated and spread far about life.

Seeing the death in the movie, many people may think about themself or their parents and even worry about the future death. Strangely, I do not have a tiny thought about these things. Maybe, the idea of living today well and cherishing the happy moments makes me ignore the death. I think this idea is also the one what the movie want to convey. At the beginning , the leading actor’s life can be a mass, losing his music career, burdening a heavy debt. When accepting the new job as a departure, he even regards it as a punishment from the God. Later, all the surrounding people look down about his job. Embarrassed as he is, he doesn’t give up and gradually likes the job much. Eventually, he wins all the peoples’understanding and respect of the job.

Sometimes, life is unfair and always against you, but what you have to do is ignore it and move forward. Respect the life, recall the dead and give him or her the beauty. That is what a departure do and I think that’s the point keeping the hero doing the job, even risking losing the marriage.

Besides, I would like to praise the hero’s wife. Based on love, she gives up the city life and moves to village with her husband. For the belief that life will be better, she doesn’t blame too much about the heavy debt and finally understands her husband’insisting of the departure job. I have to say, having a considerate wife is so important!

Last, I strongly suggest you to listen the theme music of the movie-Memory. I am certain that it will deepen your view about respecting life.
