Step One: Pre-reading

Start the unit by having a quiz on the knowledge of Canada. Then help the students to get the main information of Canada.

效果分析

本课能借助文本材料创设教学情境,合理设计教学任务,通过任务的实施与完成,激发学生兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性;通过本节课的学习,培养学生独立阅读能力,通过文本阅读,筛选局部和整体信息的能力;通过自主学习、合作学习,培养了学生获取信息和处理信息的能力,分析问题、解决问题、综合问题的能力和创造性思维能力,并且培养了学生的人文和信息素养,收到了良好的课堂效果。

教材分析

本单元的中心话题是加拿大——李黛予等人在加拿大的旅游经历。学生通过本单元的学习,可以初步了解加拿大的一些基本情况,包括地理环境、各大城市特点以及人文活动等。

热身部分是通过小测验,看学生对加拿大了解多少。这样一来是为了激发学生学习的兴趣,另一目的是让学生联系自己已有知识,为单元阅读做准备。

阅读部分是篇游记,继续了李黛予和刘倩去加拿大看望表兄妹的旅途见闻。他们的朋友林丹尼向他们介绍了加拿大的情况,包括面积、地貌、城市、人口、生态环境等。一路上,他们看到了加拿大的自然美景和野生动物。途中经过卡尔加里,谈到卡尔加里赛马会。本文还提到桑德贝、五大湖、温哥华、多伦多以及加拿大的淡水资源。

理解部分考查学生查找文章具体信息的能力,以及对信息进行重组与概括的能力,通过开放性练习,训练学生不拘泥于文章而自由谈论自己想法的能力。

课后反思

本节课是阅读课,在教学环节的设计上,充分体现阅读课的设计思路,导入环节以测试的形式,创设情境,激发学生学习兴趣,同时为文本的阅读做好铺垫,扫除阅读障碍;阅读过程体现深入阅读为中心,激发学生真实情感的自然流露,通过任务的实施与完成,实现对文本材料的深层理解;充分发挥网络课件的优势,使本节课的内容更加充实,情景更加逼真,课堂容量更大。既贯通了所要学的知识,又拓展了课外知识,使得本节课学生在学习过程中兴趣更加浓厚 , 积极地自主探究,讨论问题热烈,课堂气氛活跃。总体收到了预期的效果。

在课堂实施过程中,也存在个别环节操作不够流畅的情况,个别任务难度稍大,学生完成略显困难。

1、了解加拿大的概况——地理位置、主要城市、风土人情等;了解多元文化现象和多元文化国家的特色。

2、学会阅读和使用用地图。
