(一)原因状从

原因状语从句连接词:as, because, since, now (that) (既然), for (由于),considering that(顾及到), seeing that(由于):

Seeing (that) quite a few people were absent, we decided to put the meeting off.

Considering that they are just beginners, they are doing quite a good job.

(二)目的状语从句that, so that, in order that, for fear that, in case

(三)结果状语从句so… that 或such…that;so 还可与表示数量的形容词many, few, much, little连用,形成固定搭配。

(四)让步状语从句:though, although, as; even if, even though; whether...or...; no matter+wh-,wh-ever。

(1)though, although可与yet, still或never,the less连用,但不能与but连用。
