漂亮-用英语的N种表达
说人长的“好看”最基本的词就是 good-looking，套用现在的时髦词就是“养眼”，无论男女都可以用它来形容。但究竟怎么个养眼法，好看到什么程度，我们就需要用更具体的词来表达了。今天先从美女说起。
漂亮美女 VS. Pretty
Beautiful 大概是中国学生最先学会的表示“美丽”的英文单词，专门用来形容女性，如果一个女孩在周围的人群中长相出类拔萃，我们最常使用的便是它。不过这个说法还是一个比较抽象的概念，当我们听到beautiful的时候脑海里形成不了生动具体的形象，而且因为它被用的过于泛滥，已经难以让我们产生“窈窕淑女，君子好逑”的感觉了。
于是后来我们又学会了另一个词——Pretty。 Julia Roberts 主演的美国电影《Pretty Woman》让我们很好的记住了这个词。不过其实 pretty 也是我们最容易用错对象的词，当面夸奖女孩时尽量不要说她看上去 pretty，因为这个词虽然意思上是漂亮，但内涵却是说这个人长相只是一般程度的好看，不是特别有吸引力。所以我们还是在和狐朋狗友一起对女孩品头论足时用它吧：

性感美女 VS. Gorgeous
说一个人性感，让你 sexually interested，我们首先想到的便是 sexy，这个词好多女孩听了都感到很难为情，其实美女们大可不必这样，在老外看来，夸一个人sexy是对她“有女人味”的最好评价，她会非常高兴的对你说句“Really? Thanks a lot!”不过国情不同，为了避免中国美女们对想卖弄一下英语的男孩子误会以致报警，我们还是有必要学会其他一些表达方式用以防身：

可爱美女 VS. Lovely
形容可爱型的美女一般我们都知道 lovely，最近还有一个词也很火，就是来自
日语“可爱”的 kawaii。这里要注意的是赞美女性尽量不要用 cute，因为 cute 一般只用来形容小孩的可爱或者男人的好看，而 lovely girl 则给人一种清纯可人的感觉，男孩见到了定会产生想要去关心保护她的冲动。
极品美女 VS. Stunning
Stunning 是用来形容极品美女的，它的本意是“令人晕倒的”，这样的美女走到街上回头率得是200%，是无数男子可望不可及的对象。你见过这样的美女吗？如果有的话别忘了告诉朋友你的收获：“Yesterday I saw an absolutely stunning girl in the street! ”

帅气美女 VS. Handsome
没想到吧，原来女孩也可以用 handsome 来形容，而且绝对是褒义词。这样的美女往往是女孩比较喜欢的，在朋友中有很好的人缘，因为一个 handsome girl 往往是因为个子高，长相酷，或者性格坚强，不是那种假小子的味道，而是给人以帅气的感觉，见到这样的女孩大概好多男孩都会自卑到望而却步了吧，所以把这票投给春春，因为我的众多女同事可都把她当作自己的偶像呢！
