北京市小学英语教材 一、引言 随着新世纪的来临，我国基础教育对英语学科教学提出了新的要求。为了适应这一新要求，2001年7月，国家教育部颁布了《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准（实验稿）》（以下简称国家《标准》）。2002年3月，北京市从首都发展的特殊需求出发，在参考国家《标准》的基础上，研究制定了北京市《英语课程标准（送审稿）》（以下简称北京市《标准》）。两套《标准》对英语课程改革的基本理念达成共识, 对课程目标、课程内容、课程实施、课程评价几方面提出的目标要求基本相似，而就语言知识与能力的目标要求来看，北京市《标准》略高于国家《标准》。 根据国家《标准》的基本要求，人民教育出版社编写出版了一套从小学一年级起始的《新起点英语》教材（以下简称《新起点》），目前该套教材虽只出版了前5册，但起始年级教材，即第一、二册经全国教材审定委员会2002年审定通过。与此同时，北京市依据北京市《标准》的精神，在适当参考国家《标准》的基础上，共编写出版了两套21世纪小学英语实验教材，分别由北京师范大学出版社和北京出版社出版，目前都只编写出版了前五册（以下分别简称师大版《英语》和北京版《英语》）。 本文通过对比分析这三套共15本小学英语实验教材，试图探讨在国家《标准》指导下, 小学英语教材的特点，并对北京市小学英语教材的修订和编写提出一些个人建议。 二、教材比较 （一）三套教材的编写与使用情况简介 从教材编写背景来看，这三套教材分别代表了目前我国外语教材三种不同的编写形式：合编、改编和自编。从参与教材编写的人员来看，都很好的结合了大学语言教学专家、教师或教育科研机构的教科研人员以及部分小学一线教师。三套教材的具体编写人员背景情况见下表。 《新起点》教材是由中外合作编写，因此教材既注意到贴近我国教学实际和学生身心特点，又含有国外教材生动、活泼、幽默等特点。目前，该教材主要供北京市海淀区和其它经济、教育发达地区使用。
