对人教版高中英语必修二的分析与评价

一、基本介绍

1.背景概述。在特定历史时期和社会条件下,对于评价什么样的教材是好教材,有一些基础的衡量标准。一套优秀的英语教材,其编写应当符合以下四个方面的基本要求:符合国家各项政策法规;符合国家课程标准;符合学生的发展要求;符合各地教改实际。除此之外,以英语课程标准的有关规定为依据,我们可以从以下十个方面来衡量一套教材质量的高低:发展性、思想性、系统性、科学性、趣味性、先进性、实践性、评价性、创造性与拓展性。

国外对教材评价的研究已经取得了许多成果,欧美国家从19世纪中期就开始教材的分析评价工作,20世纪初开始教材评价的理论研究。研究的内容包括评价的概念、范围、内容、功能,评价的主体、过程、方法和原则等。英语教材的评价研究在我国英语界已经引起了一些专家学者的重视,但由于我国的教材评价理论研究起步比国外晚,因此英语教材评价研究主要是从引入国外专家学者的观点开始。

2.目的意义。为教师选择合适的教材提供依据。提出编写教材的标准,为教材编撰者编写教材提供一套可参考的规范和准则。对现行教材进行评估,从而确定教材是否符合国家课程标准,能否继续作为合格的教材。找出教材的优缺点,通过改编或者补充材料来完善教材。

二、教材分析与评价

1.语言知识。

(1)发音。教材中,单词表将音标与释义联系在一起,学生根据音

标可以练习发音。在103页列有英语国际音标变化表,学生可以掌握相关知识。但是,书中并没有任何一个单元专门讲述发音,而且也没有教学材料或者真实的情境去运用发音规则。很明显,关于发音的内容被弱化了。

(2)词汇。必修二中的单词量明显超过了课程标准的要求。因此,学生在词汇的理解与掌握上需要花费大量时间,这就要求教师教学时选择合适的教学方式与技巧。

(3)语法。语法项目基本满足课程标准的要求。语法项目的编写与每单元主题相关,这样便于学生对主题的理解以及对语法项目的运用。同时,此本教材语法的编写体现了交互式语言教学方式,注重学生交际能力的培养。

2.语言技能。听力模块通常与阅读、口语模块设计在一起。有关听力的活动并未明显划分为听前、听中、听后三部分。常见的练习为:请听以下文章并完成相关问题;请听文章并填空、完成表格。通过分析,听力活?由婕盎?本的听力技巧,有利于学生提高听力水平。听力材料种类丰富,贴近学生生活。

口语模块并未被单独分离出去。口语主题的选择与每一单元主题相关,容易引起学生的兴趣。口语活动设计成多人讨论,分享自己的态度与观点。这样,学生的能力得以锻炼,自信得以提升。

阅读理解锻炼学生以下能力:推测、概述文章大意、筛选信息、判断文体等。阅读在教材中占了很大比例。阅读材料丰富多样,包含各种主题与类型。但是,语言不够真实,不太贴近学生生活。

Festivals to Honour People Festivals can also be held to honour famous people. The Dragon Boat Festival in China honours the famous ancient poet, Qu Y uan. In the USA, Columbus Day is in memory of the arrival of Christopher Columbus in the New World. India has a national festival on October 2 to honour Mohandas Gandhi, the leader who helped gain India’s independence from Britain. Harvest Festivals Harvest and Thanksgiving festivals can be very happy events. People are grateful because their food is gathered for the winter and the agricultural work is over. In European countries, people will usually decorate churches and town halls with flowers and fruit, and will get together to have meals. Some people might win awards for their farm produce, like the biggest watermelon or the most handsome rooster. China and Japan have mid-autumn festivals when people admire the moon and in China enjoy moon-cakes. Spring Festivals The most energetic and important festivals are the ones that look forward to the end of winter and to the coming of spring. At the Spring Festival in China, people eat dumplings, fish and meat and may give children lucky money in red paper. There are dragon dances and carnivals, and families celebrate the Lunar New Year together. Some Western countries have very exciting carnivals, which take place forty days before Easter, usually in February. These carnivals might include parades, dancing in the streets day and night, loud music and colourful clothing of al kinds. Easter is an important religious and social festival for Christians around the world. It celebrates the return of Jesus from the dead and the coming of spring and new life.
