教材分析

课前准备

A tape recorder, multimedia and some pictures.

教学过程

Step1 Lead-in.

Talk about what you can see in the pictures.

1. Ask the Ss to look at the pictures and elicit what they can see.

2. Put them in groups to describe each picture.

3. Elicit their descriptions and ask the class to guess which picture it is.

Step2 Reading.

1. Show some pictures about the weather of the cities and states in America.

2. Talk something about the weather of the cities and states.

3. Introduce the new words, and read them.

4. Find out the best time to visit the US.

5. Play the recording and listen to the tape carefully.

6. Ask the students to read through the passage.
