Marriage and love on campus
With the development of times, we will find that fall in love on campus is becoming very popular. College students' academic burden is lighter than before and college students have lots of free time. The media that is TV, internet and advertisement is often showed romantic scenes and love stories. That is to say, it is spreading the love thought and encouraging college students. This topic generates a great concern among the public. And it has stimulated a heated discussion on the WeChat, the most influential social network, these days. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the problem highlighted by this topic.
The majority of students believe that it is natural for young people to fall into love on campus because they meet every day and their everyday meeting produces romantic passion towards each other. They insist that campus love is quite natural and that most of them can properly cope with their love and learning.With the increase of age,some college students get married and don’t delay learning.The couples are supposed to help each other, love each other and conduct the harmonious little family on their own. All the matters they are faced with will not only help them taste sweet produced by family but also get to know the hardness to sustain a family. Furthermore, college students are usually to be found living together. Such behavior has no difference from those done after marriage. We should rather legalize such behavior than put aside them to happen secretly.
Some people object to the campus love. The reasons are as follows. First of all, undergraduates are neither fully psychologically mature nor able to assume the responsibility, especially freshmen and sophomores. If they indulge in it, the students may not pay close attention to their study, which isn’t rare. Additionally, some just take advantage of it to kill time, avoid boredom with much ti me at their own disposal, etc. What’s more, some change dating “partners” frequently, holding a paradox opinion that they could show off their charm or accumulate experience. Thirdly, the proportion of successful couples is too low. Instead, the overwhelming majority reach the same end – parting just before graduation, as a result of the reality. So it is suggested that students should “look before you leap”, and it is advisable to discard campus love and focus on our attention and efforts on our studies. Some think it more negative for college students to get married on campus. In their opinion, the college students, especially male students, are too young and semi-matured to be likely to shoulder the burdens brought by family and take the relative responsibility.
Personally, I am not quite in favor of the students being engaged in campus love. Fall in love on campus will cause a lot of problems, for example, first of all, fall in love on campus can cost you
most of the time, let you learn less time, which affect your grades. Second, the campus fall in love can cost you energy, let you don't have the energy to do other things. Finally, fall in love on campus will cost many don't have to set of money, the money is your parents hard-earned money. As a college student, we should be taken seriously in university in love, after all, love is beautiful, but the reality is cruel.
