今天,很高兴能和大家一起交流、分享。我的话题是:小学英语语篇阅读学习。语篇是小学生进行听说读写的好材料,是学生获取语言信息和运用语言的重要途径。步入高年级,课本的语篇就变得较长,容量较大,语篇中涉及一定量的生词、句型以及文化背景知识。因此,如何有效地进行小学英语语篇教学,成为许多老师需要考虑的问题。

小学英语课程任务的核心目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。(幻灯2)

1、读是四种技能之一,学生综合运用能力的形成离不开阅读能力的培养。

2、阅读是扩大语言输入量的有效途径。

3、阅读是学习和巩固知识(如:词汇、语法、交际用语等)的有效途径。

4、有趣的阅读材料还能给人带来乐趣。

5、通过阅读可以培养学生相应的学习策略。

走进我们的教材不难发现,(幻灯3)小学阶段教材中语篇阅读的类型大致分为三种:

1、基于阅读的教学

通过语篇的阅读呈现和学习新的语言。如放在每一单元前面的主情境图可以作为阅读材料,通过阅读学习新语言,称为“基于阅读的教学”。

2、作为复习巩固提高的一种素材

通过语篇的阅读复习巩固已经学习的知识及语言。如每一单元Readand write板块,在复习巩固前面所学语言点的基础上贯穿一些新的语言点,因此可以作为复习巩固提高的一种素材。(幻灯5)3、扩展阅读

通过语篇的阅读扩展语言的知识和运用所学的语言。如每一单元Storytime 板块,以所学话题和知识(词汇和句型)为基础,有相对多的生词和句子,作为扩展的内容,成为“扩展阅读”。(幻灯6)

语篇教学的基本过程

阅读前:我们应该了解学生两个方面即学生已有知识经验和阅读兴趣。What do you know about it?(已有知识经验)What do you want toknow about it?(阅读兴趣)

活动建议:从这两方面入手我们可以设计相关活动

组织预热活动:教师出示课题,谈论相关主题,请学生们预测阅读内容,激发阅读愿望。

介绍相关的背景知识:有时阅读的文章离学生的实际生活较远,理解有难度。

作好知识准备:复习相关词汇,为语篇理解作好铺垫

处理关键生词,扫除阅读障碍

如:六上四单元B Let’s Read教学我先揭示话题My pen pal,然后让学生在图片和提示语的帮助下描述我的笔友,复习相关词汇,熟悉一般现在时第三人称单数,为语篇理解做好铺垫。如:六下一单元ALet’s Read教学我出示教材图片让学生围绕图片展开讨论:Where areBenandhisfather?

过插图巧设悬念,让学生观察图片预测短文内容,唤起学生阅读短文的兴趣。如:六下Unit2 BLet’s read教学由于本课语篇内容篇幅较长,生词较多,所以阅读前通过图片,帮助学生理解一些关键生词,扫除阅读障碍。

阅读中:我们可以分步,分层进行

整体粗读,领略内容大意;创设情景,展示意境;分段细读,布置任务,自主探究;整体重读,深层理解,领悟思想

活动建议:

1、听或观看音像材料

2、分图、分段细读理解;

3、处理生词和新的表达法,教师利用图画、板书呈现新词,通过伙伴学习,使用工具书、上下文材料、插图辅助等方式帮助学生解决。

4、开展相关的讨论活动,澄清语篇的理解。

5、结合具体内容进行朗读的指导。

如:六上四单元B Let’s Read教学首先,学生整体粗读,领略内容大意。通过问题How many people are there in Alice’s family ?Who are they ?进行阅读。在问题的引导下,学生很快把握文章的任务关系和主旨大意。其次,创设情景,展示意境。通过“谁是火眼金睛”和“谁是连线冠军”两个简单有趣教学活动,能满足学生的好胜心,初步培养学生捕捉具体信息的能力,使学生掌握语篇知识要点,准确把握人物特征。再次,分段细读,布置任务,自主探究。通过填写表格,引导学生分段阅读关注文章细节,把握语篇关键内容。最后,整体重读,深层理解,领悟思想。通过完成上面的表格,利用以上三个问题引导学生再次通读全文,对短文进行深层次理解,思考文章隐含的意义,培养他们分析、推理、判断的能力。

总之,语篇教学的目的不仅要让学生读懂语篇内容,还要让学生对语篇阅读产生兴趣,在阅读中丰富文化知识,提高阅读能力,享受阅读的快乐,让学生能养成良好的阅读习惯。它不仅在小学高年级英语教学中起着举足轻重的作用,也是学生进入中学后,进一步学好英语的一个关键“阶梯”。我们教师应认

浅谈小学英语语篇教学中的问题设计 小学阶段语篇教学的关键是培养学生的语篇意识,其价值主要体现于阅读教学,在阅读教学中帮助学生获取信息、增长知识、开阔视野、体验乐趣。由于问题贯穿于阅读教学的全过程,始终发挥着组织和调控教学的作用,引领学生积极体验和学习。所以,问题设计在阅读教学中起着至关重要的作用。学生的思维过程往往是从问题开始的。因此,在阅读教学中设计有效的问题,是启发学生思维,引导学生走进语篇,在阅读过程中通过感知、体验、实践、参与、合作、探究获取和处理信息,提高阅读技能的重要手段。下面笔者结合教学实践,分别从阅读前、阅读中和阅读后这三个阶段谈谈关于语篇教学中问题设计的实践与思考,以期提高小学英语语篇教学的有效性。 一、阅读前设计问题——激发兴趣,走进语篇 读前活动是英语语篇教学的前奏和基础,对于建构语篇文本的内容结构具有非常重要的意义。通常教师设计一些与语篇主题相关的问题,通过问答形式来激活学生的背景知识和相关经验,扫除影响学生理解语篇的部分语言障碍,为学生顺利阅读做好铺垫,同时教师还要引导学生根据图片或话题预测语篇的主要内容和可能用到的词汇,激活学生的思维,从而引领学生积极地从生活走进文本。 1. 导入型问题。问题导入是英语教学过程中运用最广泛、操作最简单的一种导入法。它是指教师从学生原有知识和生活经验出发,紧扣话题,通过提问帮助学生建立起语篇文本与以往经验、知识之间的联系,迅速自然地导入语篇话题,从而激发学生的阅读兴趣。 2. 铺垫型问题。读前活动一方面激活学生有关背景图式,另一方面帮助学生消除语篇语言理解上的障碍。铺垫型问题是教师针对学生理解语篇语言点而设置的问题,其目的不仅是寻求问题的答案,更是利用问题对这些语言点进行适当的铺垫,从而减轻学生在阅读过程中的认知压力,保证阅读教学的整体性、连贯性和逻辑性。例如,在教学《牛津小学英语》6A Unit 6 Holidays Part A前,语篇中的生词favourite是学生理解的难点,于是笔者在热身环节先利用问题What’s your favourite food/animal/colour...?与学生亲切交谈,再自然过渡到问题What’s your favourite holiday? 浅谈小学英语语篇教学 李艳 浙江省金华市环城小学 当前,不少小学生能说几句英语,但总是错误百出;能背诵一些课文,却不会在实际生活中运用。这些现象与学生脱离语境学习语言有一定关系;也就是说,学生没有在一定的语篇中学习语言。 在小学英语教学中,语篇可以是一则小故事、一篇小短文或一首小歌谣。这些语篇的共同特点是有一定的情境,富有趣味性,能吸引小学生的注意力和激发他们的学习兴趣,而且通常是围绕某个语言点而编写的。 一、语篇教学的必要性 从小学英语课程的目标来看,语篇教学的目标并不单一,它可以看成是一个由不同纬度的小目标交织在一起而形成的“复合体”。按课程标准的说明,小学英语语篇教学的目标至少包括这样一些更小的目标:知识学习层面,技能训练层面、策略培养层面、智能开发层面,情感熏陶层面和文化意识层面,也就是说,希望通过英语语篇教学来引导学生学习和运用语言知识,提高语言技能,获取所需信息,了解多元文化,享受阅读过程,养成阅读习惯,开启人生智慧并发展独立人格。 课程标准中对语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五方面分别提出了相应的一级、二级内容标准和目标要求。针对小学
