So my first week at college is over! No lectures this morning so I think I?d email you and let you know what things are going. I?m glad to say that anything has worked out fine in the dorm. I remember asking for a room as far away from the lifts as possible and they find me a comfortable one on second floor. There are two girls from my course here and I plan to make friend with them so that we can help each other on the course work. Everyone else seems very nice and warmly here. When I was ten years old, I went to Yangzhou with two American．I became their guide．First, we went to the Shouxi River．They wanted to look around the river by the boat．After buy the tickets, we got into a boat．We went around seeing the beautiful sight．After that, we went shopping．The sellers couldn't spoke English．Though it was very harder, I tried my best listen to their words carefully and translate the sentences．They bought some little things with their help．Next, we went to a small zoo but took some pictures．When we felt hunger, we went out and had lunch．After lunch, we visited some old house and learned more about Chinese history．

Time fly like an arrow．I?m already in the second half of Senior Grade 3 before I realized it．It is only a little more than three months before I graduate middle school．At the present, I?m busy review my lessons in order to take the College Entrance Examination．I hope to go to Beijing University, that is one of the best university not only in China but also in the world．I?ll try my best to turn your dream into reality．Most of my classmates are also studying very hardly to realize their dreams．I do believe everyone will be able to enter an university or college．

Here are two types of cars may some day take place of today?s big cars．If all the people drive such cars in the future, the re will be fewer pollution in the air．There will also be more space for parking cars in the cities, but the streets will not be so crowded．Three such cars can fit the space now need by one car of the usually size．The little cars will cost much less own and drive．Drive will be safer, too, though these little cars can go only 65 kilometers per hour．But it will not be of any use of long trips．

I like music very much, pop songs particularly. Every evening then I am doing homework and at weekends when I at home, I always play some of my favorite songs on my tape recorder. The familiar patterns of notes attracts me into the colorfully world of music. Now and then I stopped to follow the songs.

Sometimes, my mother comes in, asking me to fix my attention to my homework. She does not like the pop music. Like most grown-ups, she enjoys folk songs, because the peaceful music reminds her of their beautiful life when she was young. It is a truth which people of different age understand music differently and enjoy different kinds of music.

On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great diversity of robot. It was amazed to find those robots could do a great number of things just like real people, included playing chess, playing the piano and drawing pictures. What?s more, the robots were in different kinds and shapes, which made us enjoyable. In addition, that excited me most is the show given by a group of robots. They danced just as if they were dancers on the stage. By visiting Robot World, I have learned a lot of about robots, especial about their functions and shapes. The great human wisdom is so powerful that it make us feel more comfortable live in the world.

Last Sunday afternoon, I went to the zoo with Lily. There was lots of people there. I found a g irl cry in the zoo. She was lost and she can?t find her mother. We decided to help her. I try my best find the broadcasting station in the zoo. On the same time Lily played with her and looked after her careful there. The little girl stopped crying and played with Lily. At last his mother came. That made me feel very happily. I thought I really did a good thing. If everyone helps with each other, the world will become more beautiful.

In recent years many flowers shops have been appeared in our small town. It is common for people to buy flowers when they go to a gathering, visiting a sick friend, or attend a wedding or birthday party. I still remember clear one day last year when Tom, a disabled student, presented some flowers to his mother to express his gratitude for her. He owing his entire life to his mother?s kind and care. With her he would not have had the confidence or the courage to fight his disability. As a result the great effort he has made, he was finally admitted to a key university.

I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds the view what Senior Three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to her that if I am allowed to do that, I? ll be unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it was bad for my eyes. But I really can?t accept his ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can relax ourselves after a day?s hard works. Beside, it is important for us to know what has happened at home and at abroad. Thus, we shouldn?t forbidden to watch TV.
