新材料作文在高考语文试卷中频频出现。新材料作文，不同于以往的材料作文，也不同于话题作文及命题作文，它只是提供一段或几段材料，让考生从材料的整体或某一角度出发，或感悟，或联想，或思考，并在此基础上立意写作。新材料作文的基本要求是：选择一个角度构思作文，自主确定立意，确定文体，确定标题;不要脱离材料内容及含意的范围作文，不要套作，不得抄袭，不少于800字(下文例题中将不再赘述这一基本要求)。
目前，学生在材料作文中的突出问题是：误把新材料作文当作话题作文，不注意二者的区别;不能准确把握材料的中心，偏离题意;对两则及多则材料不知如何归纳概括，常常顾此失彼。而解决这些问题的关键还是在于审题。因此，如何引导学生掌握新材料作文，特别是多则材料类作文正确的审题方法，提高准确把握题意的能力，是当前高中语文教学中应注意的重要问题。
多则材料作文在提炼观点时，必须对所提供的各则材料，先逐则分析，再比较分析，最后综合分析，归纳提炼出恰当的观点。多则材料作文的难点在于，如何找准各个材料之间的内在联系，作全面、准确、周密的分析。
为了帮助学生解决在多则材料类作文审题立意方面存在的问题，根据近年来高考试题及各地模拟测试卷，结合教学实践，我们
总结出了多则材料类作文的五种类型及审题方法，实践证明还是有针对性的，其教学效果也是很好的。
一、河北省高考作文审题立意-相同型
这种材料的特点是多则材料的内涵有相同之处。其方法是先逐则分析材料的内涵，然后比较几则材料的内涵，找出共同点，这个共同点就是作文的立意所在。
例一：阅读以下三则材料，写一篇不少于800字的文章。
1、近朱者赤，近墨者黑。
2、橘生淮南则为橘，生于淮北则为枳，叶徒相似，其实味不同。所以然者何?水土异也。
3、有楚大夫于此，欲其子之齐语也……一齐人傅之，众楚人咻之。虽日挞而求齐也，不可得矣?引而置之庄岳之间数年，虽日挞而求其楚，亦不可得矣。
以上文字是由三则材料组合而成，在审题立意时，要找出这三则材料的契合点。第一则熟语，近朱者赤，近墨者黑;第二则是《晏
子春秋》上“橘生淮南则为橘，生于淮北则为枳”的几句话;第三则是成语故事“一傅众咻”。三则材料虽然长短不一，内容各异，但有一个共同点，那就是客观环境条件影响着事物的发展，作文时就应抓住这一共同点来立意。切忌断章取义，如教育要注重方法、要具体问题具体分析等都是偏离材料含义的。
例二：阅读下面材料，根据要求作文。
1、姚明率领中国男篮的队友们，为中华骨髓库捐献造血干细胞。姚明郑重承诺，一旦配型成功，立即放弃一切，回国捐献。姚明还表示：除了捐献骨髓，他还将抽出时间，参与相关公益推广活动。
2、成龙在上海组织慈善周末，又是演唱会，又是美女赛车，又是慈善拍卖晚会，很是惹眼，但目的只有一个，慈善捐献。成龙表示将带领更多好朋友参与慈善事业。
3、苏有朋利用过生日时机，成立“苏有朋慈善基金会”，把生日收到的贺金作为第一笔慈善基金会的基金，并表示以后会通过义演等手段增加基金会的基金，帮助更多的人。
上述三则材料的主要事件是名人参与慈善公益事业，关键词是“慈善”，共同点是“名人热心于慈善公益事业”。据此，可以形成下述若干观点：①慈善时尚化会是一种进步;②构建和谐社会，我们需要相信爱;③奉献点滴爱，社会更和谐;④奉献爱心，社会更和谐;⑤要有感恩和回馈之心;⑥用慈善行动来表达我们的爱;⑦让更多的人拥有对社会的爱和责任;⑧做个慈善的人，让世界更美好;⑨拥有一颗慈善之心，生活将更丰盈;⑩慈善源于对生命的爱。
二、河北省高考作文审题立意-相反型
这种材料的特点是各则材料的内涵相反，构成鲜明的对比关系。其方法也是先分析各则材料的内涵，再比较出相异点，这相异点就是这组材料的作文立意所在，正反皆切入可立意。
例三：阅读下面材料，根据要求作文。
1、1915年，大洋洲北面一原始部落民族。一批欧洲传教士见当地人在使用磨制石斧，便大量赠送短柄钢斧，帮助他们提高效益。不料，其结果只增加了当地人的睡眠时间。
2、日本兵库县有个小山村。一天，村里的长者把村人召集到一起说：“都什么年代了，咱们还过着与原始人差不多的生活，要
改变这种状况，办法不是没有。大都市里的人长期过现代生活，肯定会腻味的。咱不妨走回头路，干脆过原始人的生活，利用落后的‘特长’，‘出卖’这落后，定能赚不少钱。”
这回天妙计，博得全村人喝彩，大家说干就干，有的在树上筑巢，有的用兽皮缝衣，有的用石器打磨工具……一时间舆论大哗，旅游者、考察者慕名而来，小山村暴富起来。
对两则材料进行分析不难看出：第一则材料的原始部落的人观念不更新，安于现状，自甘落后，即使引进先进技术也枉然;第二则材料中日本小山村的人有强烈的变革意识，即使没有外界帮助也会由弱变强，由贫困变富裕。由此可得出立意：改变观念是关键，解放思想是根本。
例四：阅读下面材料，根据要求作文。
1、志愿军英雄马玉祥曾说：“我不是什么英雄，当年在朝鲜战场上我是个兵，后来转业到地方，我也是个‘兵’;现在离休了，我还愿当个老‘兵’。这辈子我掂量自己，只要够个兵的份量就心满意足了。”
2、拿破仑说：“不想当元帅的兵不是一个好士兵。”
请你联系时代的特点来谈谈自己的看法。
先找出两则材料的同和异，谈的都是理想和自我价值的问题，但看法迥异。对马玉祥的话，应抓住关键的一句，“这辈子我掂量自己，只要够个兵的份量就心满意足了”，理想的确立应从自身实际出发，在普普通通的岗位上照样能干出成绩来，能实现自身的价值，要正确理解“兵的份量”的具体内涵。而对拿破仑的话我们要作具体分析，不宜笼统地肯定或否定，想当元帅的兵是有目标有理想的，但要明确为谁而当、为什么要当元帅这些问题，才能有正确的人生观、价值观。
审题时还应注意“联系时代特点”这句话，也就是要立足于时代的高度，结合当代青年所担负的社会责任和历史使命来思考这一问题，同时还应联系自身的实际来确立人生的目标。
因而可立意为：人生既要有拿破仑那种雄心壮志，也需要马玉祥那样甘于从平凡做起的精神，因为任何雄心壮志的实现，都离不开脚踏实地地苦干。
