I would like to ask you to consider my qualification for the position in sales that you advertised in last week's newspaper.

I graduated from the College of Business in June of 1986. Since that time I have been taking night courses at Polytechnics in Sales Techniques and Mass Media Advertising.

I have worked as a vehicle salesman for the Ford Co. for the past three years. At present I am their chief salesman and account for over one half of the sales. Before my present employment, I

worked for the Chains Department Store as a salesclerk in the electrical appliance section. We worked mainly on commission and I was able to earn a substantial amount although I was very young.

I would like to make a change now because I feel that I can go no further in my present job, I feel that my ability and my training should enable me to advance into a better and more

responsible position, and it appears that this will not be forthcoming at my present position.

I would like to inquire about the position of laboratory research

assistant in the field of biochemistry that you advertised in newspaper on December 12.

I am twenty-eight years old. In 1986 I received my M.S. in Chemistry from the University of California. As a student I took many Chemistry and Biology courses a few of which are listed here:

General Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

Physical Chemistry

Biochemistry - two years

Analytical Chemistry - both organic and Inorganic

As I was a graduate student, I worked as a research assistant for Dr. John Williams, Professor of biochemistry, University of California. During this time I assisted Dr. Williams in basic

research concerning the phosphates cycle in metabolism. I can supply u with a copy of the resulting paper at your request.

Since my graduation I have been employed by Boston university as an assistant professor. I have continued my research in this time, and several of my papers have been published in New York.

my immediate superior, Dr. William Larson, has indicated his willingness to provide my with a reference.

I feel that I have sufficient education and experience in my background to fulfill the qualifications for your position. I hope that you will schedule me for an interview at your earliest

I will graduate from the University of Kansas with a Masters degree in June of this year. My major is Pharmacy and I am very interested in securing a position before I graduate, if possible.

I am a Hong Kong Chinese and my bachelor's degree is from Hong Kong University.

I have long been hopeful of working for you after I graduate, because I consider you the finest hospital in this region, I as sure that if I have the privilege of serving in your pharmacy, I

will greatly increase my education and my experience.

Needless to say, I will have completed a standard course in pharmacy before I graduate in June. In addition, I have chosen to elect all the courses available at my school in Hospital
