In England, “Bank Holidays” are Easter Monday, May Day, the Spring Bank Holiday (the last Monday in May), the Summer Bank Holiday (the last Monday in August). Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. During the Bank Holiday, all the banks are closed.
