Remembering names is an important social skill. Here are some ways to master it.

Recite and repeat in conversation. When you hear a person’s name, repeat it. Immediately say it to yourself several times without moving your lips. You could also repeat the name in a way that does not sound forced or artificial.

Ask the other person to recite and repeat. You can let other people help you remember their names. After you’ve been introduced to someone, ask that person to spell the name and pronounce it correctly for you. Most people will be pleased by the effort you’re making to learn their names.

Admit you don’t know. Admitting that you can’t remember someone’s name can actually make people relaxed. Most of them will feel sympathy if you say. “I’m working to remember names better. Yours is right on the tip of my tongue. What is it again?”

Use associations. Link each person yon meet with one thing you find interesting or unusual. For example,you could make a mental note:"Vicki Cheng -- tall, black hair.” To reinforce (加强) your associations, write them on a small card as soon as possible.

Limit the number of new names you learn at one time. When meeting a group of people, concentrate on remembering just two or three names. Free yourself from remembering every one. Some years ago, writing in my diary used to be a usual activity. I would return from school and spend the expected half hour recording the day’s events, feelings, and impressions in my little blue diary. I did not really need to express my emotions by way of words, but I gained a certain satisfaction from seeing my experiences forever recorded on paper. 贵州省凯里一中实验军校简介(历史沿革) 贵州省凯里一中实验军校(前身为“黔东南州少年军校”),成立于1996年8月1日,隶属于黔东南州国防教育委员会办公室,2000年8月1日,经凯里市教育局批准增设初中部,2004年8月1日经州、市教育局批准同意,与凯里一中联合办学,并更名为“贵州省凯里一中实验军校”,2015年7月10日根据凯里市政府的安排,我校由凯里一中老校区搬迁到老农校校区办学。 根据凯里市人民政府的安排和州、市教育行政部门要求及凯里市城市建设的需要,我校于2019年7月28日由洗马河街道文化社区(原州农校)搬迁到城西街道凯旋厂社区(原凯旋厂子校)进行办学。 为了规范教育教学设施,改善办学条件,提升办学水平,定址凯旋厂后,学校在顶着新校区(位于开环街道薅支坪村)项目建设的巨大经济压力,投入千万余元对废弃多年的凯旋厂子弟学校进行了改、扩建。现有教学楼1栋1200平米、教室24间,综合楼1栋600余平米,学生宿舍2160平米共108间,食堂1个共400平米,厕所各两座76个蹲位,教室宿舍2000平米96间,运动场9000平米。我校目前共有1218名学生,23个教学班,115名教职工,其中专任教师75人,行政后勤40人。 贵州省凯里一中实验军校是一所享有独立招生办学资格的普通高级中学,现位于凯里市城西街道凯旋路(原凯旋

Kidney failure may be a gradual and silent process, going unnoticed because there is no apparent pain. Some risk factors for kidney disease such as age and genetic make-up are out of our control; however, some changes in lifestyle may help prevent kidney damage.
