Round One: Achieving Prosperity

The question is about putting more money into the Americans’pockets.

First we have to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

That means we need more jobs, good jobs with rising incomes.

I want us to invest in you. I want us to invest in your future.

That means jobs in infrastructure and in mass manufacturing, in innovation and technology, clean renewable energy and in small businesses bec ause most of the jobs will come from small business.

We also have to make the economy fairer. That starts with raising the national minimum wage and also guarantee finely equal pay for women’s work.

I also wanna see more companies do profit sharing. If you helped make the profit you should be able to share them, not just the executives at the top.

And I want us to do more to support people who are struggling to balance family and work. I’ve heard from so many of you about the difficult choices you face and the stresses you’re under.

And let’s have paid family leave, earned sick days. Let’s make sure we have affordable childcare and debt-free college. How are we gonna do it? We’re gonna do it by making the wealthy pay their fair share, close the corporate loopholes.

Our jobs are fleeing the country. They are going to Mexico. They are going to many other countries.

You look at what China’s doing to our country in terms of making our product.

They’re devaluing their currency and there’s nobody in our government to fight them. And we have a very good fight and we have a winning fight bec ause they are using our country as a piggy bank to rebuild China and many other countries are doing the same thing. So we are losing our good jobs, so many of them.

When you look at what’s happening in Mexico, one of my friend built a plant said it’s the eighth wonder of the world. They’re building some of the biggest plants, anywhere in the world, some of the most sophisticated, some of the best plants. With the United States, as you said, not so much.

So Ford is leaving. You see, that, their small cars division, leaving. Thousands of jobs, leaving Michigan, leaving Ohio. They’re all leaving. And we cannot allow it to happen anymore as far as childcare is concerned and so many other things.

I think Hillary and I a gre e on that and we probably disagree on numbers and amounts and what we’re going to do but perhaps we’ll talk about that later.

But we have to stop our jobs from being stolen from us. We have to stop our companies from leaving the United States, and with it, firing all of their people.

All you have to do is take a look at the Carrier air-conditioning in Indianapolis. They left fired 1,400 people. They are going to Mexico. So many, hundreds and hundreds companies are doing this. We cannot let it happen.

Under my plan, I’ll be reducing taxes tremendously from 35% to 15% for companies, small and big businesses.

That’s gonna be a job creator, like, we haven’t seen since Ronald Regan. It’s going to be a beautiful thing to watch.

Companies will come. They will build. They will expand. New companies will start. And I look very very much forward to doing it.

We have to renegotiate our trade deals. We have to stop these countries from stealing our companies and our jobs.

Round Two: Let's Talk About Race

Race remains a significant challenge in our country. Unfortunately race still determines too much. Often determines where people live. Determines what kind of education in their public schools they can get. And, yes, it determines how they’re treated in the criminal justice system.

We’ve just seen those tragic examples in both Tulsa and Charlotte. And we’ve got to do several things at the same time.

We have to restore trust between communities and the police.

We have to work to assure that our police are using the best training, the best technique, that they’re well prepared to use force only when necessary.

Everyone should be respected by the law. And everyone should respect the law. Right now that’s not the case in a lot of our neighborhoods.

So I have, ever since the first day of my campaign, called for criminal justice reform.

I’ve laid out a platform that I think will begin to remedy the problems we have in the criminal justice system.

But we also have to recognize that in addition to the challenges we face with policing, there are so many brave, good police officers who equally want reform.

So we have to bring communities together in order to work on that as a mutual goal.

And we’ve got to get guns out of the hands of the people who should not have them.

The gun epidemic is the leading cause of death of young African-American men, more than the next 9 causes put together.

So we have to do 2 things as I said. We have to restore trust. We have to work with the police. We have to make sure they respect the communities and the communities respect them.

And we have to tackle the plague of gun violence which is a contributor to a lot of problems we are seeing today.

First of all, Secretary Clinton dosen’t wanna use a couple of words. And that’s law and order. We need law and order. We don’t have it. We are not gonna have a country.

And when I look at what’s going on in Charlotte, the city I love, the city I have investments, when I look at what’s going on through various parts of our country,

whether it’s, I mean, I can just keep naming them all day long. We need law and order in our country.

And I just got, today, the, eh you know, the endorsement, the fraternal order of police who just came in. We have endorsement from, I think, almost every police group, every, I mean, a lot percentage of them in the United States.

We have a situation in which we have, eh, in the city, African-American, Hispanics are living in hell.

Bec ause it’s so dangerous. You walk down the street, you got shot.

In Chicago, they’ve had thousands of shootings, thousands, since January 1st. Thousands of shootings.

And I say: where is this? Is this a war-torn country. What are we doing?

And we have to stop the violence. We have to bring back law and order in a place like Chicago where thousands of people have been killed, thousands, over the last number of years.

In fact, almost 4,000 of people have been killed since Barack Obama became President. Over 4, almost 4,000 people have been killed in Chicago. We have to bring back law and order.

Now, whether or not, in a place like Chicago, you do stop and frisk witch worked very well, Mary Julian is here, worked very well in New York. It brought the crime rate way down.

But you take the gun away from criminals who shouldn’t be having it. We have gangs roaming the street. And in many cases they’re illegally here, illegal immigrants. And they have guns. They shoot people.

And we have to be very strong. We have to be very vigilant. We have to be, we have to know what we are doing.

Right now our police, in many cases, are afraid to do anything. We have to protect our inner cities bec ause African-American communities are being decimated by crime. Decimated!

Round Three: Securing America

I think cyber security, cyber warfare will be one of the biggest challenges facing the next president because clearly we are facing at this point 2 different kinds of adversaries.

There are the independent hacking groups that do, mostly, for commercial reasons to try to steal information that they can use to make money.

But increasingly we are seeing cyber attacks coming from states, all kinds of states. The most recent and troubling of these are from Russia.

There’s no doubt now that Russia has used cyber attacks against all kinds of organizations in our country and I am deeply concerned about this.

I know Donald’s, very, paise-worthy of Vladimir Putin. But Putin is playing a really tough long game here.

And one of the things he’s done is to let loose cyber attackers to hack into government files, to hack into personal files, hack into the Democratic National Committee.

And we recently have learnt that, you know, this is one of their preferred methods of trying to wreak havoc and collect information.

We need to make it very clear, whether it’s Russia, China, Iran or anybody else.

The United States has a much gre ater capacity and we are not gonna sit idly by and permit state actors to go after our information, our private sector information and our public sector information.[/en

[en]And we are going to have to make it clear that we don’t want to use the kinds of tools that we have to engage in a different kind of warfare.

But we will defend the citizens of this country. And the Russians need to understand that.

I think they’ve been treating it as it is almost a probing. How far will we go? How much will we do? And that’s why I was so, I was so shocked when Donald publicly invited Putin to hack into Americans.

That is just unacceptable. That’s one of the reasons why 15 national security officials who serve in Republican Information Administration have said that Donald is unfit to be the commander in chief.

There’s comments like that really worry people who understand the threats that we face.

Yeah, I do wanna say that I was just endorsed and more are coming the next week. It will be over 200 admirals, many of them are here, admirals and generals endorsed me to lead this country.

That just happened and many more are coming. And I’m very proud of it.

In addition I was just endorsed by ICE. They’ve never endorsed anybody before. On immigration I was just endorsed by ICE. I was just endorsed. 7,500 patrol agents.

So when Secretary Clinton talks about this I’ll take the admirals and I’ll take the generals, any day over the political hacks that I see that has led our country so brilliantly over the last 10 years with their knowledge.

Bec ause look at the mess we’re in. Look at the mess we’re in. As long as there's the cyber, I a gre e to parts of what Secretary Clinton said. We should be better than anybody else and perhaps we’re not.

I don’t know if anybody knows that it’s Russia that broke into the DNC. She’s saying Russia Russia Russia. But I don’t. Maybe it was. It could be Russia. But it could also be China. It could also be a lot of other people. Could also be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, OK?

You don’t know who broke into DNC. But what do we learn with DNC? We learnt that Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of by your people, by Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Look at what happened to her.

But Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of. That's what we learned.

Now, whether that was Russia, whether that was China, whether it was another country, we don't know, bec ause the truth is, under President Obama we've lost control of things that we used to have control over.

We came in with the Internet, we came up with the Internet, and I think Secretary Clinton and myself would a gre e very much, when you look at what ISIS is doing with the Internet, they're beating us at our own game. ISIS.

So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare.

It is —it is a huge problem. I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable.

The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable.

But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing. But that's true throughout our whole governmental society.

Thank you so much. Thank you all. Well, this isn’t exactly the party I’d planned, but I sure like the company. I want to start today by saying how grateful I am to all of you – to everyone who poured your hearts and your hopes into this campaign, who drove for miles and lined the streets waving homemade signs, who scrimped and saved to raise money, who knocked on doors and made calls, who talked and sometimes argued with your friends and neighbors, who emailed and contributed online, who invested so much in our common enterprise, to the moms and dads who came to our events, who lifted their little girls and little boys on their shoulders and whispered in their ears, “See, you can be anything you want to be.” To the young people like 13 year-old Ann Riddle from Mayfield, Ohio who had been saving for two years to go to Disney World, and decided to use her savings instead to travel to Pennsylvania with her Mom and volunteer there as well. To the veterans and the childhood friends, to New Yorkers and Arkansans who traveled across the country and telling anyone who would listen why you supported me. To all those women in their 80s and their 90s born before women could vote who cast their votes for our campaign. I’ve told you before about Florence Steen of South Dakota, who was 88 years old, and insisted that her daughter bring an absentee ballot to her hospice bedside. Her daughter and a friend put an American flag behind her bed and helped her fill out the ballot. She passed away soon after, and under state law, her ballot didn’t count. But her daughter later told a reporter, “My dad’s an ornery old cowboy, and he didn’t like it when he heard mom’s vote wouldn’t be counted. I don’t think he had voted in 20 years. But he voted in place of my mom.” To all those who voted for me, and to whom I pledged my utmost, my commitment to you and to the progress we seek is unyielding. You have inspired and touched me with the stories of the joys and sorrows that make up the fabric of our lives and you have humbled me with your commitment to our country. 18 million of you from all walks of life – women and men, young and old, Latino and Asian, African-American and Caucasian, rich, poor and middle class, gay and straight – you have stood strong with me. And I will continue to stand strong with you, every time, every place, and every way that I can. The dreams we share are worth fighting for. Remember - we fought for the single mom with a young daughter, juggling work and school, who told me, “I’m doing it all to better myself for her.” We fought for the woman who grabbed my hand, and asked me, “What are you going to do to make

So I want to say to my supporters: When you hear people saying or think to yourself, "If only, or, "What if," I say, please, don't go there. Every moment wasted looking back keeps us from moving forward. Life is too short, time is too precious, and the stakes are too high to dwell on what might have been. We have to work together for what still can be. And that is why I will work my heart out to make sure that Senator Obama is our next president. When we first started, people everywhere asked the same questions. Could a woman really serve as commander-in-chief? Well, I think we answered that one. As we gather here today in this historic, magnificent building, the 50th woman to leave this Earth is orbiting overhead. If we can blast 50 women into space, we will someday launch a woman into the White House. Although we weren't able to shatter that highest, hardest glass ceiling this time, thanks to you, it's got about 18 million cracks in it... ... and the light is shining through like never before, filling us all with the hope and the sure knowledge that the path will be a little easier next time. 希拉里对着电视公开说“Shame on you, Barack Obama”。 The way to continue our fight now, to accomplish the goals for which we stand is to take our energy, our passion, our strength, and do all we can to help elect Barack Obama, the next president of the United States. Today, as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won and the extraordinary race he has run. I endorse him and throw my full support behind him.

New York Senate speech By Hilary Clinton You know, you know, we started this great effort on a sunny July morning in Pindars Corner on Pat and Liz Moynihan’s beautiful farm and 62 coun ties, 16 months, 3 debates, 2 opponents, and 6 black pantsuits later, because of you, here we are. You came out and said that issues and ideals matter. Jobs matter, downstate and upstate. Health care matters, education matters, the environment matters, Social Securit y matters, a woman’s right to choose matters. and I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you, New York! Thank you for opening up your minds and your hearts, for seeing the possibility of what we could do together for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. I am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the chance to serve you.

(2009-11-04 16:26:27) Thank you very much. You know, tonight, we are hearing the voices of people across America, people of all ages, of all colors, all faiths and all walks of life, people on the day shift, the night shift, the late shift, with the crying babies, moms and dads who want a better world for our children, young people who deserve a world of opportunity, all those who aren't in the headlines, but have always written America's story. After seven years of a president who listens only to the special interests, you're ready for a president who brings your voice, your values and your dreams to your White House. And tonight, in record numbers, you voted not just to make history, but to remake America. People in American Samoa, Arkansas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and the great state of New York and on just -- on just one really serious note, we want to keep the people of Arkansas and Tennessee in our prayers. They suffered horrible tornadoes(龙卷风)tonight. We just talked to some of our folks there and people have died in both states, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them in this moment of their need. You know, tonight, though, is your note. Tonight is America's night. And it's not -- it's not over yet, because the polls are still open in California for a few more minutes. I hope that all of you will join our campaign at https://www.360docs.net/doc/9c150812.html,, because you know -- you know that politics isn't a game. It's not about who's up or who's down. It's about your lives, your families, your futures. It's about the people who have shared their problems with me, looking for solutions, the mother whose insurance company won't pay for her child's treatment, the couple so determined to send their daughter to college, they're willing to mortgage (抵押)their home with a sub-prime second mortgage, the man who asked me what he was supposed to do after training the person who will take his job in another country, the veterans(退伍军人)who've come home only to find they don't have the health care, the compensation(赔偿)and the services they need. It's also about the people who want to seize America's opportunities. It's about the unions and businesses who are training people for green collar jobs. It's about the auto companies and the auto workers who want higher gas mileage cars so we can compete with the rest of the world. It's about -- it's about our scientists and researchers who want to be able to do stem cell research right here in the United States of America. It's about our contractors (承建商)and our construction workers who want to get to work to rebuild America, from the bridges in Minnesota (明尼苏达)to the levees(堤防) in New Orleans. Now, for seven years, we have seen President Bush's answer. They don't know what's at stake in this election, but we do. We know what we need is someone ready on day one to solve our problems and seize those opportunities. Because when the bright lights are off and the cameras are gone, who can you count on to listen to you, to stand up for you, to delivery solutions for you? Well, the Republicans want eight more years of the same. They see tax cuts for the wealthy and they say, "Why not more?" They see $9 trillion in debt and say, "Why not trillions more?" They see five years in Iraq and say, "Why not 100 more?" Well, they've got until January 20th, 2009 and not one day more. Now, we know the Republicans won't give up the White House without a fight. Well, let me be clear -- I won't let anyone swift vote this country's future Together, we're going to take back America, because I see an America where our economy works for everyone, not just those at the top, where prosperity is shared and we create good jobs that stay right here in America. I see an America where we stand up to the oil companies and the oil-producing countries, where we launch a clean energy revolution and finally confront the climate crisis. I see an America where we don't just provide health care for some people or most people, but for every single man, woman and child, that no one is left out. I see -- I see an America where, when a young man or a woman signs up to serve our country, we sign up to serve them, too. An America with a 21st century GI Bill of Rights to help veterans go to college, buy a home or start their own businesses. I see an America respected around the world again that reaches out to our allies and confronts our shared challenges from global terrorism to global warming to global epidemic(疫情).

It s spring, so we re starting to get the gardens ready and my tomatoes are legendary here in my own neighborhood. My daughter is about to start kindergarten next year, and so we re moving just so she can belong to a better school. My brother and I are starting our first business. After five years of raising my children, I am now going back to work. Every day we re trying to get more and more ready and more prepared. Baby boy, coming your way. Right now I m applying for jobs. It s a look into what the real world will look like after college. I m getting married this summer to someone I really care about. I m gonna be in the play and I m gonna be in a fish costume. From little tiny fishes. I m getting ready to retire soon. Retirement means reinventing yourself in many ways. Well we ve been doing a lot of home renovations. But, most importantly, we just want to teach our dog to quit eating the trash. And so we have high hopes for 2015 that s going to happen. I ve started a new

Life is too short, time is too precious, and the stakes are too high to dwell on what might have been. We have to work together for what still can be. And that is why I will work my heart out to make sure that Senator Obama is our next president. When we first started, people everywhere asked the same questions.
