英语学习：分级原版阅读上百本一年半英语水平进步大
从去年春天开始我们从《轻松名著》的灰姑娘入手接触大段的英文故事听力训练，并且看分级读物，以前都是以小短句的形式。一年半间我们看了《体验英语少儿阅读文库》1-8级140本；《轻松名著》小学版1-4级20本、中学版1级5本；《培生儿童英语分级阅读》3-10级124本；I Can Read系列、An I Can Read Book系列、Step into Reading系列、Ready to Read 系列200多本；《Arthur's》系列20多本；《典范英语》1-6级；终于最近向章节书过渡了。
选了两本《Ready Freddy! Tooth Trouble》和大名鼎鼎的罗德达尔的《The Magic Finger》，以自主阅读后找出生词，然后复述中文梗概为形式，大约每本生词量15，16个左右。找出个别句子翻译也可以理解。看来反复阅读分级读物，对英文的提升真是非常有效的，虽然可以读章节书了，目前的计划还是以分级读物为主，章节书为辅，扩大单词量，章节书从《Magic Tree House》入书系统的逐步增加难度。

最全的英语分级阅读教材合集，牛津阅读树，海尼曼，RAZ，机灵狗，哈考特等 分级阅读教材介绍： 分级读物按照目的不同可以分为两类： 有点偏重于巩固自然拼读，有的偏重于巩固sightword（不符合发音规则的常见词），不过殊途同归都是为了学会阅读，这里就不加区分了。 市面上的英语分级读物浩如烟海，真是让人挑花了眼。（相反的是，中文分级读物却很难挑出一套，唉！）。 先说说国内出版社引进的分级读物： 1.《体验英语少儿阅读文库》——最适合孩子自主阅读 体验英语，是一个美国出版公司为4-11岁小朋友进行阅读训练而准备的一套分级阅读体系。共有800多本，1-30级。国内引进版则分为9级，每级按照不同内容又分了6个set： SetA 日常生活类 SetB 自然科学类 SetC 数学类 SetD 故事类 SetE戏剧和童话 SetF文体读写 体验英语分级严格，体系完备。最初的级别都很简单，一页只有一两句话。随着级别上升，篇幅和难度逐步提升，让孩子逐渐掌握基础词汇量。

英文分级阅读,不是读几本分级原版书就可以了
我接触过一位妈妈，儿子四年级，从幼儿园开始学英语，妈妈给孩子买过不少国外分级读物，也买了不少国内出版的英语简易读物。 这位妈妈告诉我，幼儿园时，她经常带孩子读英语绘本，孩子进入二年级之后，她就让孩子自己读一些英语分级读物。 妈妈说：有件事我特失望，小孩应付校内的英语课，挺轻松的，成绩也很好。可孩子读到更厚一点的原版书，就有很多地方不理解。 闻听失望二字，我觉得奇怪，中国孩子读原版书，遇到大量理解难点，这很正常啊!有什么可失望的呢? 这位妈妈介绍说：她之所以失望，是因为孩子挺用功，能坐得住。而且，根据她对孩子的规划，孩子先是自幼读绘本，然后再大量阅读英语分级读物，然后再进阶到阅读原版书，可孩子就是进阶不上去。 我回答说：学英语，必然会遇到瓶颈。孩子整天读简易读物，即使读上好几年，英语水平也只能维持在简易读物的层次上，孩子不可能“自动”越至高阶层次，除非有人详细指导。
这位妈妈有点不甘心，对我说：英语是一门技能，孩子越练习，就越熟练。就像儿子学篮球，刚开始投篮的时候，怎么也投不准。后来，孩子自己练习一个月，现在投篮已经很准了。 听到这里，我一下子感到，这位妈妈对英语学习的认识，稍有点“一厢情愿”的味道。 孩子读原版书，和孩子练习投篮，有着本质区别!也就是说，孩子可以通过自我练习，一步步提高投篮水平。但是，孩子不能通过自学，一步步提高原版书阅读水平。 道理很简单。孩子投篮时，不需要别人告诉，自己就能清楚看到篮框位置。孩子每次投篮，动作是否有效，是否命中目标，孩子都能明明白白看到。所以，孩子只要对准目标，不断调整动作，慢慢就能成为投篮高手。 但是，孩子自己读原版书，情况可就大不同了。孩子看着密密麻麻的英语，不知道什么才是准确的理解，除非有人告诉。如果没人告诉孩子，孩子要么读不懂，要么囫囵吞枣，要么“自以为是”，以为自己看明白了，其实是误解了英文。
