一、前言

(一)课程性质

商务英语阅读是高职院校商务英语专业第二学年的一门必修课,是对日常生活英语以及商务活动中所出现的各种情境英语进行讲解。其主要容涉及的商务领域有:创造财富、经营管理、广告、金融、投资等。其文章主要从当今世界权威的英语杂志、报纸、和学术刊物中选出,同时在课程后面精心编排注释了这些文章并配备了大量具有针对性的练习,使读者能够在有效提高商务英语语言水平的同时,拓宽国际视野,加深了解不同领域的国际商务知识。

(二)设计思路

本课程为主干专业基础课。随着我国经济进一步的强劲发展,进出口贸易总量成倍加大,对具有商务背景的专业人才的需求日趋扩大,但是目前具有广泛的国际商务知识并且具有良好的商务英语语言技能的人才还为数不多。因此,提高商务英语阅读理解能力、快速浏览、了解时代信息、提高英语语言能力和在将来职场中的工作效率,就显得格外重要。高职院校商务英语专业重点在培养全方位、多层次、宽领域、高水平的复合型商务英语人才,为此而设置商务英语阅读课程。

本课程是根据任务引领型的项目活动要求,既要学习基本英语语言与文化知识,又要学习商务英语基本知识,旨在通过大量的英语阅读练习和实践,同时帮助学生了解主要英语国家的文化背景和生活习俗以及掌握涉外商务英语基本知识。学生通过对本课程的学习与练习,能够在原有的基础上很大程度上扩大词汇量和地道语言表达,从而提高读、写、译等语言的接受和产出技能。课程容的编排和组织是以企业需求、学生的认知规律、多年的教学积累为依据确定的。立足于实际能力培养,对课程容的选择标准作了根本性改革,打破以知识传授为主要特征的传统学科课程模式,转变为以工作任务为中心组织课程容,并让学生在各种情境中学会完成相应交际任务,并构建相关理论知识,发展职业能力。经过深入、细致、系统的分析,经过专家深入、细致、系统的分析,本课程要求让学生熟悉国际贸易基本知识和技能,了解国际惯例及我国对外经济贸易的方针政策及法规,能从事国际商务活动、胜任涉外企业相应岗位。按照情境学习理论的观点,只有在实际情境中学生才可能获得真正的职

业能力,并获得理论认知水平的发展,因此本课程要求打破纯粹讲述理论知识的教学方式,实施项目教学以改变学与教的行为。每个项目的学习都按以商务背景知识介绍、展示、阅读练习各项任务为载体设计而成,以阅读任务为中心整合理论与实践,实现理论与实践的一体化的教学。教学效果评价采取过程评价与结果评价相结合的方式,通过理论与实践相结合,重点评价学生的实际阅读和语言表达能力。

本课程建议学时为84学时,6学分。

二、课程目标

通过任务引领型的项目活动,学生了解并掌握国际贸易以及商务英语基本知识,掌握商务英语交际技巧以及基本商务礼仪,能够在一般的商务活动中基本正确地使用英语,为毕业后成为适应社会需要的应用型涉外商务工作者打下坚实的基础;能养成诚实、守信、吃苦耐劳的品德,养成善于动脑,勤于思考,及时发现问题的学习习惯;具有善于与人沟通的能力,具备良好的团队合作精神。

(一)专业知识目标

1.熟悉主要的商务文章容;

2了解主要英语国家的文化背景和生活习俗;

3.掌握商务场合中英语语言运用特点,以及特定的习惯表达和专业术语。

(二)专业技能目标

1.掌握各类商务活动的基本技能和操作规程,学会如何综合使用和发展这些技能;

2.能基本读懂主要英语报刊、杂志有关商务活动的报道和评论文章;

3.了解国际商贸的整体轮廓,能基本读懂英文原版商务教科书有关章节大意;

4.能将一般英语商务材料中英文互译。

(三)思想素质目标

1.养成诚实、守信、吃苦耐劳的品德;

2.养成善于动脑,勤于思考,及时发现问题的学习习惯;

3.了解基本的商务礼仪;

4.具有团队合作精神。

5.拥有自律自信自强的良好精神风貌。

四、实施建议

(一)教材编写

1.必须依据本课程标准编写教材,教材应充分体现任务引领、实践导向课程的设计思想。

2.教材应将本专业英语阅读活动,分解成若干典型的任务,采用以学生为中心的主题交际、任务型教学模式,即基于学生在知识、智力、情感、个性等方面的需求,引导他们围绕日常生活、社会焦点方面以及商务英语案例进行大量循序渐进的练习活动。教材编写应以对语言功能的使用为切入点,学生能在各种有趣的任务和活动中实现对这些语言表达法的练

习和使用。语言功能的设置从简到繁,章节背景知识的介绍、文章大意和作者写作意图的归

纳、重点与难点的提炼、文章的启示总结等方式式,进行理实一体教学并运用所学知识进行评价,引入必须的理论知识,增加实践实操容,强调理论在实践过程中的应用。

3.教材选材覆盖面广,容丰富多彩,每单元的阅读材料涉及发达国家和发展中国家广泛面临的经济或社会问题,利于课堂气氛活跃和学生兴趣的激发。

4.教材容应体现先进性、通用性、实用性,要将本专业新知识、新理念、新要求及时地纳人教材,使教材更贴近本专业的发展和实际需要。

5.教材中活动设计的容要具体,配套练习难易适中,循序渐进。

(二)教学建议

1.本课程要注重培养学生熟练掌握有效地阅读商业文章所需要的技巧、策略,熟悉商务英语专业词汇;

2.要注意引导学生在阅读时获取的信息不超过练习的要求,以保证阅读的效率;

3.教学过程中要注重对一些常用专业词汇的用法进行讲解,注重对阅读材料的通篇理解。

4.在教学过程中,要重视本专业领域新文化、新理念、新要求的发展趋势,贴近企业、

贴近生活。为学生提供职业生涯发展的空间,努力培养学生参与社会实践的创新精神和职业能力,使其成为商务英语类应用型人才,以满足人才市场的巨大需求。

5.教学过程中教师应积极引导学生提升职业素养,提高职业道德。

(三)教学评价

1.改革传统的学生评价手段和方法,采用阶段评价,过程性评价与目标评价相结合,项目评价,理论与实践一体化评价模式。

2.关注评价的多元性,将课堂提问、课堂辩论,CET六级阅读全真模拟测验、平时测验、任务考核、技能目标考核作为平时成绩,占总成绩的40%,理论考试和实际操作作为期末成绩,占总成绩的60%。

3.应注重学生实际语言运用能力和阅读技巧应用能力、解决问题能力的考核,对在学习和应用上有创新的学生应予特别鼓励,全面综合评价学生能力。

(四)资源利用

1. 优化师资结构,加强“双师型”队伍建设,打造一流的师资队伍。打破传统的教学模式和课程界限,将专业课和基础课、专业课的理论教学与实践教学有机融合,培养教师的综合教学能力;制定激励政策,鼓励教师参加相应专业的技能培训与继续教育,参加相应专业

的资格认证考试,多途径培养教师的双师资格,使教师很好地胜任了具有高职特点的教学工作;鼓励教师下公司、企业顶岗实习,丰富实践经验,锻炼将理论运用与实践的能力;加强校实训基地建设,推进校企合作,工学结合,建立校外实训基地,创造条件让教师能在不同的教学岗位上进行岗位轮换,让教师熟悉本专业相关的实践教学岗位,培养教师技术应用能力和专业实践指导能力。

2.注重课程资源和现代化教学资源的开发和利用,如多媒体教室的应用,这些资源有利于创设形象生动的工作情景,激发学生的学习兴趣,促进学生对知识的理解和掌握。适度使用教学辅助资料如阅读模拟试卷,商务英语报刊剪辑,教学软件等。同时,建议加强课程资源的开发,建立多媒体课程资源的数据库,努力实现跨学校多媒体资源的共享,以提高课程资源利用效率。

3.积极开发和利用网络课程资源,充分利用诸如电子书籍、电子期刊、数据库、数字图书馆、教育和电子论坛等网上信息资源,使教学从单一媒体向多种媒体转变;教学活动从信息的单向传递向双向交换转变;学生单独学习向合作学习转变。同时应积极创造条件搭建远程教学平台,扩大课程资源的交互空间。

4.产学合作开发实训课程资源,充分利用校外实训基地,进行产学合作,加强实训实习基地建设,建立校企合作运行机制。建立由学校、企业、行业领导、教授、专家组成的专业指导委员会,共同审定教学大纲、实训大纲、教学计划、课程体系和实践环节实践容、学时安排等;采取校企一体、产学协作的方式共建实习基地,模拟企业现场环境开展实践训练和技术培训,选聘实践经验丰富的业务骨干为兼职教师参与指导工作;使学生能够深入企业结合实际,真刀真枪的进行顶岗实习,并通过专业(职业)技能考核。通过“工学交替”可满足学生的实习实训,同时为学生的就业创造机会。

5.建立本专业开放式实训中心,使之具备现场教学、实训、职业技能证书考证的功能,实现教学与实训合一、教学与培训合一、教学与考证合一,满足学生综合职业能力培养的要求。
