正反观点

正反观点对比议论文

要求学生从正反两个方面来论证某一观点，对这类题型，审题时注意：

⑴体裁：说明文 ⑵时态：一般现在时 ⑶人称：第一、三人称

第一段：提出问题（总述事件或情况）

第二段：阐述提纲中列举的第一种看法，给出理由或者举例说明

第三段：阐述提纲中列举的另一种看法，给出理由或者举例说明

第四段：表明自己的观点结束全文

表示不同观点的句型：

1. 开头总起段：

① We had a heated discussion about/on …… 关于…我们进行了激烈的讨论

② Different people hold / have different opinions/ ideas. 不同的人持不同的观点

③ People have/ take different opinions/ views on …… 人们关于…有不同的观点

④ Students’ views/ideas/opinions on …vary/differ from person to person. 学生们关于…的观点各不相同

2. 支持方观点：

① …of them hold the opinion that …… …他们持的观点是…

② …of them are for/ in favor of the idea that …… …他们赞成的观点是…

③ People who are for the idea think that …… 赞成这个观点的人们认为…

3. 反对方观点：

① However, some of them hold a different view that …… 然而，他们中一些人持的不同观点是… ② However, some of them hold the opposite opinion. 然而，他们中一些人持相反观点

③ People who are against the idea think that …… 反对这个观点的人们认为…

④ On the other hand, some people object that …… 另一方面，有些人反对…

4. 个人观点：

in my opinion, in my view, as far as I am concerned, as for me, from my personal point of view, personally speaking, personally …

5. 结尾段：

① Through the discussion, we all think that …… 通过讨论，我们都认为…

② Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. 任何事物都有优点和缺点

③ Everything has its strengths and weakness. 任何事物都有长处和短处

④ Each coin has two sides . / Everything has the pros and cons . 凡事都有利弊

过渡性词语：

表列举：for example, for instance, take …for example, such as （例如）

表补充：what ’s more, besides, in addition, moreover, furthermore, what ’s worse （此外）

表对比：on the one hand ……on the other hand （一方面；另一方面）, in spite of （尽管）, on the contrary （相反）

表原因：because of, due to, owing to （由于）thanks to （多亏了）

表结果：therefore, thus, as a result, so （因此）

表转折：however, nevertheless, yet （然而）

表说明：that is to say, that is, in other words, namely (也就是说；换句话说)

表结论：to conclude, in conclusion, in a word, in brief=briefly, to sum up, in short=shortly, all in all, in general=generally, generally speaking, on the whole （总而言之）

Nowadays, more and more people/ a growing number of people pay more attention to their lives.

Nowadays, more and more people/ a growing number of people pay more attention to their lives. But people differ in their opinions on the matter.

Some people prefer to live in a traditional house. There might be several reasons, I think. In the first place, you can grow flowers and tress in the yard if you live in a traditional house. Besides, you can keep pets if you like . Finally, people can take exercise in the yard.

However, some people prefer to live in an apartment. On one hand, it is clean and safe. On the other hand, it is close to your work.

As far as I’m concerned, I prefer living in a traditional house. My reason i s that I like

enjoying sunlight, especially in winter. Moreover, my grandparents wouldn’t happy if they live in an apartment. As they argue that it is not convenient for them to have outdoor activities. So I think living in a traditional house is good and healthy lifestyle.

Film or book, which do you prefer？

Some of us think that it is better to see the film than to read the book in the original. The reason is that it takes less time to understand the whole story. Besides, the film is usually more interesting, and it is easier to follow.

Some others have just the opposite opinion. They think that they can get more detailed information from the original. Meanwhile, the language in the book is possibly more lively and beautiful.

Personally, I agree with the second view. Actually I have more reasons for it. I think I can stay at home, reading quietly in a situation of my own, and what’s more, I am able to better understand the author’s ideas. In a word, to read the original work is better than to see the film based on it.

Some are in favor of staying at home. They think it’s both convenient and comfortable. What’s more, they can save money for other purposes. But They will lose the chance of getting to know the outside world. However, others prefer to go out for traveling since it can increase their knowledge and broaden their views. But they will spend more money and meet some difficulties while traveling.

In my opinion, it would be much better to stay at home. Actually I have more reasons for it. When staying at home, I can do what I like, such as reading books, watching TV, and helping my parents with the housework. In a word, to stay at home is better than to travel.
