2.1不断扩充学习者的词汇量

在英语学习的过程当中,单词是学习需要面临的一个主要难题,英语单

词当中存在着大量、一词多义、词性变化等特性,如果在学习的过程当中没有

有效的方法解决该问题,则就会打击英语学习者的自信心。在人类的记忆规

律当中,记忆一个的单词需要进行重复读、写,才能形成一种比较久的记忆,

而在此过程中如果只是对单词进行单纯的记忆,整个学习过程则会枯燥无

味,所以在记单词的过程当中可以使用阅读英文原著方法来提升记忆单词的

效果,当在英语原著当中见到时一些曾经学过的单词时,学习者脑海可能会

自然而然对该单词进行巩固,从而形成一种比较永久的记忆。比如曾经记忆

—的茶壶的单词,这个单词在记忆过程中可能会出现记不住、

过一个teapot——

记不牢的情况,而在《爱丽丝梦游仙境》这部原著中就有这样一句话:I’ve been

shurk,stretched,scratched and stuffed into a teapot.这句话中就有teapot的这

原著还可以帮助学习者记住一些比较生僻的单词,就像是在河里扔石子会产

生波浪一样,通常学习一个单词之后,可以对其他单词进行联想,所以在学习

英语的过程当中,应该培养对词语的含义进行猜测的能力,要学会在阅读的

过程当中联系上下文对词语进行猜测,如果通过猜测也不能知道单词的意102
