比赛说明及规则

比赛说明:

本部分含两个阶段。

第一阶段:在备赛区进行,限时30分钟,两名选手通过沟通和协作完成并提交任务单(Worksheet),并按照比赛要求分别准备第二阶段的比赛内容。

第二阶段:在赛场进行,选手A按要求向评委陈述任务完成情况(限时3分钟),选手B 回答评委的现场提问(限时2分钟)。

本部分满分40分。

比赛规则:

1. 选手只能用英语交流(包括读和写),否则将被取消参赛资格;

2. 两名选手之间不得互相展示或交换任何材料,否则将被取消参赛资格;

3. 选手可根据需要在赛题上书写内容,汇报或回答问题时可携带此材料,但不得携带除此以外的其他材料;

4. 本比赛环节期间,选手不得与除队友之外的其他人就比赛内容和方法进行交流,否则将被取消参赛资格。

For Contestant A Only

选手A:假设你是某社区的医务人员,你有一篇关于食品安全的介绍。你的队友是社区物业管理人员,有一份关于社区居民食品安全情况的调查报告。你需要与队友沟通并为社区宣传橱窗制作一个有关食品安全的展板。

在比赛第一阶段(30分钟内),你需要完成:

1. 阅读关于食品安全的介绍,提取相关信息;

2. 向队友询问关于社区居民食品安全的调查信息;

3. 与队友讨论,确定4项主要食品安全措施,完成任务单(有关食品安全的展板);

4. 准备第二阶段的汇报内容。

备注:任务单仅由选手A填写(任务单一式两份,请在每份背面签字,一份交工作人员,一份自己留存,供赛场陈述时使用)。

在比赛第二阶段(3分钟内),你需要向评委汇报任务完成情况,内容需涵盖以下几个要点:

(1) What are the common keys to safer food?

(2) What are the four keys to safer food you’ve chosen?

(3) Why are the four keys most important to safer food?

For Contestant A Only

Each day millions of people become ill and thousands die from a preventable foodborne disease. More than 200 diseases are transmitted through food. Please read the information about some keys to safer food:

? Wash your hands often during food preparation.

Some dangerous microorganisms are carried on hands, wiping cloths, and kitchen equipments, especially cutting boards. The slightest contact can transfer them to the equipments, which may cause foodborne disease.

? Use separate equipment, such as knives and cutting board for handling raw foods.

Raw food, esp. meat, poultry and seafood can contain dangerous microorganisms which may be carried onto other foods.

? Cook food thoroughly, esp. meat, poultry and seafood.

Studies have shown that cooking food to a temperature of 70o C helps ensure it is safe to eat.

? Do not leave cooked food at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Microorganisms can multiply very quickly if food is stored at room temperature. ? Do not store food too long even in the refrigerator.

Some dangerous microorganisms still grow below 5o C.

? Protect kitchen areas and food from insects, pets and other animals. Some dangerous microorganisms are widely found in soil, water, animals and people.

2019年全省职业技能大赛职业英语技能(其他类) 赛项竞赛规程(中职学生组) 一、赛项名称 职业英语技能(其他类:包括交通运输类除航空服务外所有专业;信息技术类除客户信息服务外所有专业;医药卫生类除护理外所有专业;农林牧渔类;资源环境类;能源与新能源类;土木水利类;加工制造类;石油化工类;轻纺食品类) 二、竞赛目的 本赛项致力于为全省中职学生及英语教师创建一个交流学习、拓展视野、展示才华的平台,推动中职英语教学模式和人才培养方式的转变,展现中职学校英语教学改革成果,着力于中职学生职场情境下的英语应用能力以及职业能力的综合培养,服务于中职英语教学改革的发展需求。 三、选手参赛资格 参赛选手必须是省内中等职业学校(含技工学校)的在籍学生,不限年龄,但参加国赛选手按教育部要求年龄不超过21周岁(1998年6月30日后出生)。 四、比赛程序 1.3月25日下午15:00-16:00举行职业英语能力测试。 职业英语能力测试持续时间为60分钟,成绩满分100分,含听力(50分)、阅读(30分)、写作(20分)三部分内容,将采用机读卡作答,阅卷机阅卷形式,所有答案应填涂在机读卡上,做在试卷上的答案一律无效。参赛选手须自备中性笔、2B铅笔等考试用品,报到后进行抽签,选手按抽签座位号(01--42)就坐。 职业英语能力测试团体成绩是将参赛组二人的个人成绩相加,根据二人平均分排名前15队的参赛组,方有资格参加3月26日下午职业英语口语决赛。 2.3月26日下午13:30---17:00举行职业英语口语决赛。 要求有资格进入3月26日下午口语决赛的选手于下午13:00抽签并按抽签顺序在侯考室提前30分钟抽取演讲题目,演讲题目赛前保密,13:30口语决赛开始。口语决赛不允许携带手机、电子工具、英语资料等。 职业英语口语决赛满分为100分,选手以2人团队为单位通过分工协作完成一个场景中的工作任务,选手根据给出情境进行角色扮演或陈述任务完成情况,

You could say there is no reason. It’s true that a special kind of paper is used to make dollar bills, and they are pretty, but that’s not what makes them valuable. The real reason money is valuable is that everyone believes it is. Ancient economies had no paper money or coins. Some used barter---- trading one thing for another. Others used all kinds of objects as money. Any object would do, as long as there was not an unlimited amount of it. Animals or metals were popular, and so were manufactured products like jewelry or weapons. Wealth in ancient Greece was measured in tools or cattle. This kind of money had two purposes. First, it was useful in itself. Tools and cattle can be used for farming. And second, it was a way to symbolize and measure value. A house, for example, would be valued at a certain number of tools or cattle. This greatly simplified trade. Other societies used money that was totally symbolic. For instance, American Indians used wampum, which is made from seashells. And until recently on the pacific island of Yap, people use large stone discs as money. In most places these types of money died out because more practical forms of money were invented. People started using precious metals, such as gold and silver, that were easier to carry around than tools or stones. And in the eighteenth century, paper money was introduced. At first people were suspicious of new currency, but they came to accept it because the government or bank issuing it would exchange an equal amount of gold for the paper.
