一、大纲使用说明
（一）课程的地位及教学目标
英语演讲课程是英语教学中的新兴课程，在近几年备受重视。演讲是口语表达和书面英语的最佳结合。通过对国外演讲的学习和模仿使学生有效地了解演讲这一文体的写作方式和用词风格，从而锻炼口语表达能力，克服学生中屡见不鲜的交际恐惧。提高学生的语言欣赏能力，增加写作知识。增强学生英语实际运用能力，创造习得环境，激发学生学习动力,提高学生临场反应能力,为培养实用型翻译人才创造实践机会。
（二）知识、能力及技能方面的基本要求
要求学生具备自我学习能力，能够设计适当的演讲稿，并以演讲的形式流利、正确、有理有据地表述个人观点。具备一定的外语语言水平、心理素质、批判性思维能力、审美能力等。
（三）实施说明
授课采用自主式学习和合作式学习相结合的方式，课堂分主题、实战、技能三大板块。创建多维资源，培养学生自学能力，以多种方式进行评估，全面增强学生能力。

（六）课程考核方式
1. 考核方式：考查。
2. 考核目标：通过平时的多次实战考核测试考查学生对演讲技巧的把握、心理素质以及应变能力。
3. 成绩构成：最终考试成绩由平时成绩占30%（包括出勤、作业、提问等）及平时多次考核占70%的平均成绩组成。

二、中文摘要
英语演讲教学作为高校英语专业的一门选修课存在着必要性。本课程有助于提高学生的语言应用能力,能够有效地提高学生的综合素质,为学生提供实践机会, 是帮助学生逐步提高,展现自我的舞台。教师通过学习建构主义理论、创建多维资源、培养学生自主学习能力,以多种形式评估学生的成绩、以实现学生综合素质的提高。

3. 演讲演示的要素，如声音的运用、目光交流、手势、举止，仪表等；
难点：
演讲稿的撰写，词汇的选择，口语与书面语的区别。
习题：
1. 根据指定题目，收集材料撰写演讲稿。
2. 推荐阅读材料，视频资料，交换心得体会。
3. 安排课后演讲练习，推荐著名演讲者演讲视频。
6. 技能考核

具体内容：
考核学生对演讲技能的掌握，任选题目进行演讲。通过自评、互评及教师意见进行打分和评价。
重点：
根据演讲的表现逐一评价每个学生的演讲能力，通过自我评价加以改进，通过互相评价发现缺点及不足，教师参与加以点评。
难点：
从Matter，Manner，Method三方面进行公证的自评和互评。
习题：
总结自己及他人的优缺点，对不足之处加以改进，准备期末考试内容。
