2. how do you think china introduce a complete ban on smoking in restaurants and bars?

well, it’s a very complex question. in my eyes, i couldn’t agree more to completely ban smoking in all pubic places, much less in bars and restaurants. smoking is a disgusting habit and should be discouraged. we all know clearly that smoking is very harmful to the smoker’s health. longtime smoking can lead to lung cancer and other serious health problem. almost a quarter of chinas population smoke and more than one million people die every year from smoking-related illnesses. i’m the one who is allergic to cigarette. i dont want to have to endure 2 hours of second-hand smoke just to finish eating my dinner. however, i think it is too difficult to expect people to give up cold turkey. smoking ban has implemented more than one year, but no obvious effect. the huge number of smokers, the undefined punishment rules, smokers’ poor self-control ability

and people’s weak awareness of dangerous about secondhand smoke, are the challenges to the smoking ban. to this issue,

we just hope the government can really force the ban to take effect. also we should strengthen our non-smokers’ awareness to discourage the smokers around us.

3.should university student start their own business as soon as they graduate from universities?

well, it’s a quite complex issue. with the competition in the job market

becoming increasingly fierce for college graduates, some ambitious students have tried their hands at launching their own businesses.

not all college graduates are suitable for undertaking entrepreneurial projects. to launch a business, one needs to have a sound business idea, a viable business plan, the charisma to create a cohesive team, effective managerial skills, and above all, the courage to compete against powerful rivals. in addition, it still needs some other conditions, such as seed money, venture partners and so on. so, if you have most of the conditions all above or you dare to have a try, then do it. if you don’t, perhaps you should have a job first and wait for the chance.

4.do you agree or disagree with the following statement? married couples have a better life without children?

nowadays, there are more and more dink families continually appearing in our society. the reason is complicated. no matter what reasons, i don’t agree thatmarried couples have a better life without children. in my opinion, children are of course the indispensable part of family. if no children, both sides of the couple will have too much free time, and if their free time are out of sync, then one side who stay at home will feel lonely, then he or she will require more of the other side. in addition, children can ease up the dispute between family members in

an easy way because of their innocence, especially the married couple. if without a child, when the couple quarrels with each other, they will always focus on their own feelings, probably making some wrong decisions in anger, such as run away

from home and divorce. moreover, children can maintain the relationship of husband and wife and decrease the divorce rate. from many researches, parents who have children have less

possibility to divorce because they have to consider the future of the children. it is helpful to maintain the social order.

5. what do you think is more important for a child, a happy childhood or top marks at school?

first, my opinion is that a happy childhood is more important than any ot her for a child. it is the precondition of one’s happy life, and it is part and parcel of the growth of good character to a child. generally speaking, if a child has a happy childhood,

he is more likely to become more optimistic and develop himself better than the child who has not. second, i want to say that parents have to shoulder the responsibility to provide the children with a happy childhood. there is saying: parents are best teachers for their children. so they should guide them, encourage them to find out their own talents or interests, give them more care and chances to develop themselves. but some parents don’t think so; they attach importance to higher marks. in fact, a top mark isn’t the only s tandard to measure a child’s ability. teachers can not take this standard, parents either.

6. do you think big cities need more public transport instead

of more private cars?

i couldn’t more agree that big cities need more public transport instead of more private cars. in many people’s eyes, a car makes going out convenient and comfortable and can help them save their time. however, private cars cost much money to buy and maintain, contribute much to air pollution, consume more energy and always lead to traffic jam. in contrast, public transportation, including buses, taxis, subway and so on, have many advantages. firstly, pubic transport is more low carbon. secondly, pubic transport is energy-saving and does more benefits to environmental protection. what’s more, pubic transport can ease up the traffic pressure. so the government should develop enough public transportation that is effective and punctual.

7.do you agree or disagree with the following statement? parents are the best teachers.

i couldn’t agree more with the statement. parents are the best teachers. take my parents for example, they are not only my parents, but also my friends and teachers. i spent most of the time with my parents before i go to college, and i surely learn a lot from my parents in everyday’s life. when i was a child, they

teach me like how to walk, how to dress up, how to be a honest people and how to tell right from wrong. as i grow older, they teach me how to manage my money, how to make friends, how to study, how to make decisions, and so on. i like to take my parents’ adv ice into consideration. and it always works. overall, in my eyes, parents are the most intimate people to us. they

will teach us all they know when we need it. they will not hide anything from us. what’s more, parents are the people who know us the most, therefore, advice and suggestions from our parents are the most pertinent and valuable.

8.some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. which point of view do you agree with?

of course shall request the students to attend classes. let me explain my view for the following reasons. firstly, attending class can make a communication chance for the students and teacher. it will do plenty of benefits to stu dents’ study. and teachers generally have undergone many things in their life, they can give students some correct advice and lead them to the right way. secondly, attending class can make a bridge between students and students. they can learn and help from each other, and change their different ways of thinking. all of these will help to improve their team spirit. last but not the least, attending class reflects the requirements of responsibility and discipline. if students want to attend class then in c lass, don’t want to then absent, the school will be out of control.

9.is it better to enjoy your money when you earn it or is it better to save your money for some time in the future?

in my perspective, it is better to save money for some time in the future. there are many negative effects without money saved. first, without money saved, people may be put on psychological stress. besides, without money saved for future, they will have to take risks if they come across accidents or emergencies. for example catching serious diseases someday, fired by the company and can’t find a job. without money saved, it is really horrible to think about this kind of scenarios. apart from the negative effects above, what about the positive side of saving money for future use? first, saving money for

future use can help us earn more money by investing money into like stock market and fixed estate. secondly, saving money for future use can ensure we have good lives after retirement. finally, saving money can probably help those in bad need for money.

10.the expression never, never give up means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. do you agree or disagree with this statement?

nothing is difficult if you put your heart on it. nothing is easy if you don’t tr y your best. when someone say never, never give up, he means that he will keep trying and never stop working for his goal no matter how many times he fails. if we give up too early, we will rarely achieve anything. it is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills. another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. if we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. now i want to quote hillary clintons words to end my speech. she says, always aim high , work hard ,and care deeply about what you believe in, and when you stumble ,keep faith, when youre knocked down, get right back up and never listen to anyone who says you cant or shouldnt go on and never, never give up.

以及自然气候是得天独厚的。大家也都知道四川是熊猫最佳的天然

栖息地。当你看到熊猫那滑稽的外表，憨态可掬的举止，你会发现

它有着温和的习性。它同其他物种相处和谐，和大自然和平共处，
