公司简介翻译
一、什么是公司简介？
1、公司简介是公司对内外宣传的必备资料：
对外宣传：介绍公司的结构、经营范围、公司的实力、经营方式等
对内宣传：宣传公司的内部文化, 强化纪律, 公布最新消息以及对员工进行潜移默化的宣传教育等。以达到公司员工思想、行动上的统一，达到人人守纪律、守法、人人热爱公司，从而实现品牌意识进入第一线的目的。
2、公司简介的分类：
一为企业形象宣传册，这类一般为展示本企业的可视形象与荣誉，根据企业规模的大小来定宣传册的篇幅；
二为企业产品宣传册，此类一般是大篇幅介绍本企业的产品特点、性能及其他相关方面的情况；
三为活动宣传页，这类宣传页是针对企业开展的活动而印制的一些宣传页，旨在让大众了解：某公司在某时某地开展某活动。

一是企业徽标。企业徽标是企业文化的显现，印刷时，将企业徽标置于封面中近位置，使其醒目。
二是企业亮点。部门管理亮点和公司和现场观摩会应在公司简介中得以完美体现。
三是企业业绩。企业近三年获得的荣誉和代表项目应得到具体体现（生产和销售情况）。
二、公司简介文本的基本内容
1、公司介绍注重新颖
介绍营销策略、新产品、新技术、新服务、新想法之前，你必须要先向投资者详细介绍企业的名称、注册地点、经营场所、公司的法律形式、企业的法人代表、注册资本等基本情况。有些内容需要下功夫写好，如：

企业的目的、发展目标、市场营销、经营原则等。
2、公司的明确的目标
企业的目标可以概括成几句话：应该包括企业的性质、经营哲学、财务目标、企业文化，以及企业形象。在描述企业的目标和经营哲学时可以包括这样几个方面，如: 产品或服务的特性、产品或服务的属性、产品的质量和价格、服务的内容、企业与顾客的关系、企业的管理风格、企业领导与员工的人际关系、工作环境的性质、企业与整个产业的关系、新技术和新进展、盈利目标、人员管理目标等方面。
范例一、
xxx有限公司是一个充满朝气和想象力的销售食品和服务的公司，我们的目的是提供高质量中等价位的食品，有时也提供只含有天然成份的食品。我们与顾客、雇员、社区，以及我们的周边环境都保持着良好的伙伴关系。我们的目标是成为本地区范围内的名牌公司。我们的特色是销售东方食品。我们的目标是保持中等程度的发展速度，年盈利保持在中等程度水平。我们将一如既往保持企业的幽默特色。
我们的基本经营思想是做一个收取会员费的俱乐部。通过会员费使顾客产生主人翁的感觉，使顾客对我们有一种从属感。我们要让顾客觉得不是随便哪个人都可以进入这个俱乐部的，顾客必须成为会员才能进入俱乐部的门。这样会觉得自己与众不同。
我们要求企业的每个部门都定出明确的目标，以及如何实现这个目标的具体措施。我们每年对整个企业做一次大检查。我们不做那些小的改动，所以我们公司的目标五六年没有变化。

3、公司的实际名称与公司商业名称
公司应该在公司名字之下有一些品牌和商标。商业计划书要包括公司的法律名称、商标或品牌名称、公司商业用名称、子公司名称等内容。
如果你是准备成立新企业，还没有起好名称，在商业计划书中先用一个弹性比较大、使用比较灵活、包括经营范围最广的名称。
4、企业的法律形式
公司简介必须表明企业的法律形式，是有限责任公司，还是个人独资公司，或是合伙人公司等。在什么地方注册的，法人代表是谁。如果是股份公司，有多少股票和多少股东，最大的股东是谁等。
5、管理队伍和领导班子
公司简介应注明公司董事长、总裁、常务负责人(或首席执行官)，以及其他主要负责人的情况。特别要写清那些现在是与企业管理有关，而在未来有可能是企业投资者的情况。
如果企业有董事会，还要写明董事会的情况，如有多少名董事、是否经常召开董事会等。如果这些董事在社会上是很有影响力的人物，还可以写上他们的姓名。
6、企业的地点
列出公司总部所在地的地点、公司主要经营场所的地点、分支机构的地点等。也可以将所有分支机构的地点放在附录部分。特别重要的是，在

公司简介中一定要介绍企业的业务范围所涵盖地区的情况。
7、企业的发展阶段
许多投资者想知道你的企业目前发展到什么程度，经历了的主要发展阶段，已经取得了哪些进展或成绩。在公司简介中首先写公司成立的时间，然后写企业的主要发展阶段和企业的近期目标。
企业的主要发展阶段应该包括企业创立时的情况、企业的早期发展情况、企业的稳定发展期的情况(如开发新产品、提供新服务、建立新分支机构等)，企业扩张期的发展情况，企业合并、企业改产、企业重组或稳固地占领市场等情况，还应该写明目前你的企业距离预定的目标还有多远。
如产品是否已经开发出来？是否进入测试阶段？是否已经有定单?是否已经签订合同？是否已经建立可靠的原料供应？是否建立了可靠的销售渠道？是否已开了新的分支机构？是否已经设计好包装？是否已经做了市场调查？过去企业有哪些主要业绩？现在的经营有哪些成功?
三、公司简介的语言特点及翻译要求
语言特点
用词：简介使用的语言都用正常书面词语和正式口语中的词语，简单易懂；使用行业术语，所谓“说行话”。
1. 使用常用词汇

2. 使用专业词汇
使用专业词汇可使公司简介更加正式，表述公司业务状况及发展前途，会增加语篇的可信度。简介中通常使用金融和商务术语，如：joint ventures(合资企业)，consortium (联合企业)，turnover(营业额)，dividend(股息)，shareholder(股东)。
The Group recorded a turnover of $385 million in 2000 to be the top contractor, both in terms of total turnover and contracts awarded.

以简单句、复合句为主，避免长、难句子。基本不用祈使句和倒装句等表示情感的句型。

2.多用直接叙述句型

语篇：简介有几个语篇构成，各语篇之间独立，但存在逻辑上的联系。如：
第一部分通常为概括性的介绍，第二部分为公司主营业务介绍，第三部分为公司业绩介绍，第四部分为公司的经营理念等。但各公司的见解均有各自的特点，也有自己的妙笔生花之处。
2、翻译要求
1）深入了解公司情况，包括公司历史、主要股东及主要管理人员、主营业主及其他业务、公司的文化特点、公司的经营理念、公司近几年的主要业绩等。
2）掌握简介的语篇特点，统筹安排词语及句子结构（包括句法结构）。3）体现公司简介的传播特点，让读者过目不忘。
如：Our specialty and confidence shall be the best choice for you!
4）功能对等，要求译者了解译语消费者的需求心理。
5）语境对等，为译文读者构建同原文相同的语境。

公司简介翻译策略
公司简介以传播公司文化，吸引顾客为宗旨，达到推销自己产品或服务的目的。
公司简介翻译(尤其是汉译英) ，应该采用改译法，以译文为重点的翻译原则，其翻译应该有针对性和灵活性，不能死扣原文，亦步亦趋。在不影响原文思想表达的前提下，对原文作适当的增删和必要的调整，力争达到语言具体生动，语法简单明了，表达简洁传神。
1. 使用专业词汇
前面已讲过，不再这里累述。需要注意的是，公司经营范围五花八门，专业术语也各有不同。建议在动手翻译之前先阅读国外相关专业公司的简介，加以借鉴。
2. 适当增删
原文写作符合汉语读者的阅读习惯和文化取向，而译文应该符合英语读者阅读习惯和文化取向。如:中文公司简介往往是大而全，仿佛要将自己公司的全部优势都写在公司简介中。反观英文公司简介，大都是特色突出，并不是眉毛胡子一把抓。
中外客户对公司简介的关注点不同。外国客户主要关注公司的存在时长、产品特点，服务特点、生产能力、管理能力等。
3．改写
1）对原文句子结构的改写
由于思维方式不同，中国人和西方人写作时的推理方法也不同。西方人是直线思维，多采用演绎推理；而中国人是螺旋式思维，多采用归纳推理。展开一个话题时，汉语往往迂回曲折，先分说，再总括，多用掉尾句；而英语则开门见山，先总括，再分说，多用松散句。翻译时有必要对原文的结构加以调整，使其与西方读者或游客的习惯相吻合。

2）对原文行文风格的改写
汉语和英语在行文风格和修辞上存在较大的差异。汉语公司简介中有许多华丽辞藻、四字词组渲染气氛。
英语公司简介行文平和、通顺，少用形容词或副，也少用修辞手段。多采用叙事句法（陈述句），为读者提供信息，而不是让读者感动。
翻译时应该调整措辞，将这些虚华之词用明白晓畅的语言重新表述，使译文通达流畅，符合英文的表达习惯，增强译文的可读性，以达到宣传的目的。
4. 调整
语篇调整:
一些中文公司简介需要调整，尤其是从语篇角度调整，将中文公司简介的语篇调整成适合翻译的语篇，然后将其翻译为英语。（即将原有的段落修改成易于翻译的段落，有时段落之间也需要调整。）
5. 改译法
公司简介英译可采取改译法，亦称改写译法。
翻译是不同媒介的写作。
改译法即按照原文作者的意图修改原文，以图达到原文作者的目的。改译法并不是随意改变原文；改译主要是改变原文的文体，使译文更加适应译文读者的阅读习惯。
改译原则
首先，改译要尊重原文的写作目的；
做好改译提纲；
选择适合目的语读者的文体;
构建目的语读者习惯的认知语境;
撰写适合翻译的中文公司简介；
采用适当的翻译手段。
作业：

1、找出各种词性和在句型在简介中的使用方法、作用、频率。
2、分组挑错并改正已经上传的公司介绍文件，要求将本组人员名单写在作业的首页。最好找一个英语原件作对应。
3、要求找一家大公司和一家小公司的中英译文。
