浅谈词块与英语自主学习
摘要：近年来，词块在词汇教学中越来越得到重视。本文通过对词块的定义和分类，总结其特征，说明词块对于培养英语学习者的自主性有重要作用。

一、引言
传统的语言教学都是基于语法和词汇两分论：掌握了语法，记住足够的单词，就能流利地表达思想。其结果是，学生记住了大量单词却难以流利地道地谈论事物。而词块的学习可以克服这一点。词块即指词汇短语(lexical phrases),就是事先预制好的且被频繁使用的多个词的组合，这种词汇组合有自己特定的结构和相对稳定的意思，可整体或稍作改动后作为预制语块供学习者提取和使用（姚宝梁，2003）。
二、词块的分类
在《词汇短语与语言教学》一书中，nattinger&decarrico把词块从结构上分为4类:
（一）聚合词(polywords)
聚合词是一种固定的词语组合，例如:hold your horses(等等看，忍耐一下)，a piece of cake(轻而易举的事)，by and large(大体上，总的来说)，once and for all(一劳永逸地)，so far so
