三、Kites were invented in China about three thousand years ago. They are flown at festivals, competitions and for pleasure. Kites can also be useful. Some people fish by hanging hooks from their kites. Kites have been used to pull boats in some countries. Long ago the British army used kites to look at the enemy from up in the air. In America in eighteen forty-seven, an eleven-year-old boy used his kite to fly across a big river and help to build a bridge. In Japan a robber once took some gold from a castle by lifting himself to the top of the castle in a kite. The first kites were made from silk and bamboo. Today kites are made from light metal and modern materials.

2016年中考英语复习计划及策略 大保当中学徐利芳屈婷婷 距离2016年中考还有6个多月的时间，九年级的英语课程也将近结束，从现在到中考这段时间对于老师和学生来说是至关重要的一段时间，在接下来的2个多月当中，我们还要完成九年级新课教学，而下学期复习阶段对马上面临的中考是非常重要的，因此我们要充分利用这段时间，做好这阶段的复习，争取让学生能在接下来的中考中取得较好的成绩。 从这几年的中考试题来看，其试题容量大、覆盖面广，要求也愈来愈高，不仅加强了对英语基础知识的考查，更突出了对运用知识的能力的考查。根据近几年中考试题特点，英语的学习规律及学生的实际英语学习情况，我们决定采用了“三轮复习法”作为总复习计划，第一轮复习阶段训练，它约占总复习的1/2或更长的时间，其余“两轮复习阶段训练”，其中包括语法专项训练、中考专题训练、约占总时间的1/2或1/3。做到着眼全面，突出重点，点面结合，把全面复习和重点复习有机结合起来。 实施步骤及时间安排： 一、第一轮复习阶段（3.13-4.24） 内容：七、八、九年级共五册英语教材的初步复习工作，单词第一次全面复背。 方法策略：七年级一周，八年级三周，九年级二周。每周听力练教师
