英语专业翻译课有效教学模式探究

【摘要】本文将系统的分析国内现行大学英语翻译课在教学设计与实践、教学目标、实际应用以及学生能动性等方面存在的问题,以现代网络技术管理为基础,采用“有效教学”模式,提高学生的英语专业翻译能力,培养英语翻译专业人员。

【关键词】英语翻译教学模式有效教学

1.引言

有效教学(effective instruction)是指教师在遵循教学活动的客观规律的前提下,以最少的时间、物力投入、精力投入取得最大的教学效果,从而实现特定的教学目标、满足社会和个人的教学价值需求。它是在20世纪科学思潮的来临以及心理学尤其是行为科学的发展以及人们尝试用科学的眼光审视教学,并提出“教学也是科学”的背景下提出的。从此,西方掀起了一场教学科学化的运动。人们开始关注教学的哲学、社会学以及心理学的理论基础、采用实验、观察等科学的方法来研究教学问题,如程序教学,有效教学的概念由此引起世界各国教育界的关注。

本文意在探讨将首先倡导于自然学科或科学课堂的探究式教学

模式引入英语专业翻译教学,做到既“授人以鱼”又“授人以渔”,以实现有教师“教”到以学生“学”为中心的转移,变重“知识”为重“素质”和重“能力”;促进学生成为翻译课堂的主人,在“探究”中发展与创新,在“笔耕”中求知,为将来自我处理翻译问题奠定扎实的基础。
