每个单元都有五个部分组成,在学习每个单元之前,都要掌握学习目标中的内容,理解单元目标的同时也就掌握了本个单元的主要内容,学习英语,重点掌握听、说、读、写、译。

重点掌握每个单元的语法点,以及如何很好的运用到实践中去,根据短文内容填空这种类型的题目,可以了解到对知识点的掌握程度,要学好每个单元的同时,要根据书中的五个重点内容去掌握,这样能更好的理解课文以及整个单元的内容甚至是每个单元的内容。

每个单元所陈列出来的语法知识点以及重要的短语都要及时掌握和理解,反复记忆对课文的理解好处甚大。

根据课文回答问题,回答正确与否和对课文的理解有很大关系,同时也是对只是积累的过程。

Adverbial Clause-window on grammar

用作状语的从句称为状语从句。它在句子中的位臵比较灵活,可以放在主句之前或之后,偶尔也可以插在主句之中,一般用逗号隔开。状语从句由从属连词引导,不同连词引出不同的状语从句。

When it is fine, I usually go to school by bike.

天气好时,我通常骑自行车去上学。(时间状语从句)

Present participle and past participle-window on grammar 分词有现在分词和过去分词两种形式,可以在句中作定语和状语。

分词单独做定语时可放在所修饰的名词之前或之后;分词短语做定语则需放在它所修饰的名次之后。试比较:

现在分词单独做定语:修饰的是发出该动作的名词

Emphasis, ellipsis and inversion-window on grammar

强调、省略和倒装

强调、省略和倒装是3种语法修辞手段,用来强调句意或使语言简洁。

强调英语中经常通过变化基本句式来对句中某一部分或者句子整体的含义进行强调。英语中常用的强调结构有:

1)It is + 被强调部分(主语、宾语和状语)+that 从句It is Prof. Smith that /who made a wonderful speech

at the meeting yesterday. (强调主语)

是史密斯教授昨天在会上做了精彩的演讲。

2)强调谓语动词则需用助动词,一般式前面加助动词do,其他时态时只能通过重读谓语动词来强调。

Please do take care of yourself. (强调谓语)

务请小心在意。

省略为了避免语言重复,句中前后重复的部分可以省略。

John won the first place and Jimy the second. (Jimmy后省略了won和place.)

约翰得了第一名,而吉米得了第二。

倒装英语中主语在前谓语在后属正常语序;若谓语或其助动词提到主语之前则称为倒装语序。倒装往往有强调的作用。
