设计思路 1.1课程性质与作用

课程的性质:英语视听说课程是一门语言技能训练课程,也是商务

英语和国际商务专业的一门主要的专业必修课程,在整个专业课程

体系中居于基础地位,在商务英语和国际商务专业人才培养方案中

占有重要位置。

课程的作用:商务英语和国际商务专业的学生就业岗位是外贸,需

要学生们能用流利的英语进行商务活动等,所以英语的听说能力是

学生们就业的保障。英语视听说课的后续课程是商务英语口语、商

务英语翻译等。

1.2课程基本理念

视听说课程以培养学生们的英语交际和沟通能力为重点,教学内容

是是基于学生的外贸工作流程开发与设计的,并通过课堂工作坊来

实施。教学模式是以行动为导向,通过课堂具体和仿真的项目教学

任务,培养学生的终身学习的理念,和终身学习的能力,其次,通

过本课程的训练,提高学生的职业能力,能使学生与外商流利沟通

和交流。

1.3课程设计思路

视听说课程设计的思路是“培养学生的语言应用能力,在涉外交际的

日常活动和外贸活动中进行流利的口头和书面交流”。语言应用能力

是焦点,策略意识、创新思维、与人合作和跨文化交际都成为能力

发展的重要构件。因为语言知识和语言技能是语言运用能力的基础,文化意识是得体运用语言的保证,情感态度是影响学生学习和发展

的重要因素,学习策略是提高学习效率、发展自主学习能力的前提

条件。主要表现在:自信流畅地说、能够组织整理信息、语言准确

不给听者带来迷惑与压力、对别人话语能快速反应、清晰地发音和

传递信息、在不同的文化背景中有意识地运用恰当的语言及举止、

能够有策略地从快速复杂的话语中把握主旨或理清核查有用信息等等。他们特别强调互动技能:接待或拜访客户、参观客户公司或带

领客户参观、出席宴请招待、参加会议或讨论、主持会议、面试访

谈、商务谈判、电话沟通等等。这些要求反映出,商务英语和国际

商务的职业能力不仅需要专业能力,即运用英语完成商

务活动的技巧与知识,还需要学会学习、学会工作、解决问题的方

法能力,学会共处、善于交流、勇于创新的社会能力,以及由思想

道德品质、身体心理素质等构成的个性特征,是职业技能、职业知

识和职业素养的集成。职业能力的培养依赖于工作任务的变化,依

赖于工作过程这一载体。基于工作过程的学习领域课程标准以“立德

树人、培养职业能力”为己任,把商务英语和国际商务学习从“应试”

引向“应用”、从“学业”引向“就业”,促进学生的全面发展,为末来

职业发展及可持续发展服务。

2.课程目标和要求

1)每学期初制定授课计划,授课内容应严格按照教学计划执行,每

月由教研室集中检查一次;

2)实践教学应占总课时的70%,重点锻炼学生对英语语音、单词、句子结构等的辨认能力,对数字、时间等的辨别能力,以及在商务

环境中运用所学基本听力技巧进行有效交际的能力。

3)通过专门系统的商务英语听力训练,为提高学生商务英语的听说

水平奠定扎实的基础,并进一步培养其商务英语的实际应用能力,

为学生通过全国商务英语认证考试做准备。

3.课程内容与要求

本课程主要按照商务英语和国际商务专业人才培养的能力要求,将

与商务有关的日常生活情境和工作过程分解为就餐、购物、电话、

等若干主题,课堂教学内容均围绕这些主题展开。在教学过程中贯

彻“语言+技能”的培养理念,着重加强听力基本技能在商务环境中的

具体应用,提高学生的商务语言运用功能;在实践训练时遵循由浅

入深、由易至难的渐进式原则,符合学生学习认知的特点。

师资条件

基本要求:讲师或硕士以上;

职业能力要求:从事过一年以上高校商务英语教学经验,或通过学

院组织的实践教学能力考核,获得全国商务英语证书或者剑桥商务

英语证书等相关证书,能够熟练操作商务英语听力教学软件,具备

指导学生实践操作的能力;每年寒暑假教师应到外贸部门或外资企

业进行顶岗实践,全年不得少于30天,并撰写相关的实践日志或总结。

针对语言教学的特点和对高职院校英语听力课教学改革的需求,建

议在教学过程中,以调动学生的积极性为核心,主张教师精讲,学

生多练;学生主导,教师指导;构建交互式、参与式课堂教学体系,将教师讲授法、学生中心法、启发式教学法贯穿在课堂教学中。

1)教师讲授法:

教师紧紧围绕该课的商务主题,讲授必要的商务背景知识,提示学

生重点句型和表达法,使之有意识地把相关句型、表达法及词语与

主题所反映的情景相联系,逐渐学会自己归类与总结。

2)学生中心法:

坚持以学生为中心的教学理念,在教师的必要指导和宽松学习环境

条件下,由学生能动地利用多条获取知识的渠道,自主地、创造性

地去主动获取知识。培养学生掌握科学的学习方法,教会学生获取

知识,培养获取、分析、处理信息的能力。

3)启发法:

启发式提问是检查学生听的情况的常用手段。教师在熟练掌握各种

提问技巧基础上,灵活地在听音过程中的就不同层面适时设问,则

可以作为引导学生思维的有效手段。

5.2教材编写与选用建议

1)视听说课程的教材选用体现了以下原则:充分体现任务引领、实践导向的课程设计思想;突出实用性和前瞻性,教学内容紧密结合

行业前沿信息,将商务活动的真实内容引入课堂教学,让学生体验

真实的商务世界;教材以学生为本,设计严谨、突出重点,重在提

高学生学习的参与性和积极性,能有效激发学生的学习兴趣;教材

中配套练习的设计具有可操作性。

建议选用《商务英语视听说》外语教学和研究出版社高等职业教育

规划教材,此教材是高职高专院校与行业企业合作开发的教材。

二、课程简介

《中级英语视听说》是英语辅修专业的核心课程,以强化基础英语听说能力为主,重点培养学生的交际能力,通过多种形式的真实性语言输入,提高对所听材料的分析、归纳、判断和推理能力,加强日常生活话题的口语表达能力,为后续各门课程学习提供保证。

三、教学目的、要求与方法

1. 教学目的

本课程旨在帮助夯实英语听说能力基础,听力能力方面,能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,领会讲话者的意图和态度;能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语节目,语速为每分钟 150 词左右,能掌握其中心大意和要点;能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。口语表达能力方面,能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论;能就日常话题和来自英语国家人士进行交谈;能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确;能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略,熟练运用一般英语词汇和惯用法进行有效的情景交际。

2. 教学要求

教师在教学中以激发和引导学生学习兴趣为导向,鼓励和培养学生自主学习能力,并给予学习策略上的指导,使学生树立和保持正确的学习习惯。要根据学生实际水平甄选和运用视听材料,合理利用计算机辅助教学手段,将视听结合,使课堂语言输入形式多样化,

保证语言材料的真实性。按照教学进度,分阶段、分层次、有重点地解决学生在听力、口语、语言综合运用等方面的问题。

3. 教学方法

本课程主要采用任务教学法,同时将交际法教学思想渗透于教学各环节。课堂上,借助多媒体技术以音频视频方式为学生提供示范对话,让学生掌握实现某种交际功能以及表达一定题材所必需的语言形式,要求学生模仿示范对话中的用语,然后运用相关信息用英语进行模拟情景演练。使学生在习得某交际功能的语言表达方式后,进行规范的、自然的英语角色对话。可安排课外口语交际任务供学生课外操练。课堂教学活动应遵循以学生为中心、生生互动、师生互动的教学原则,通过对话演练、小组讨论等活动,使学生的英语听说能力得到培养和提高。

一、课程性质

本课程遵循《教育部关于进一步深化中等职业教育教学改革的若干意见》(教职成[2008]8号文件)的主要精神,深化课程改革,努力形成就业导向的课程体系。积极推进多种模式的课程改革,促进课程内容综合化、模块化,提高现代信息技术在教育教学中的应用水平,推动中等职业学校教学从学科本位向能力本位转变,以培养学生的职业能力为导向。依据商务英语专业人才培养方案,确定本课程的目标和教学内容。

《商务英语视听说》通过“视”“听”“说”三位一体的教学模式融合英语语言、企业文化背景、商务知识与商务技能,培养学生对真实交际场合中各种视听材料的理解能力和表达能力,语言实际运用能力和交际能力,使学生能够熟练运用英语进行日常商务接待、外贸业务、旅游酒店接待服务、英文翻译等工作,能够更好的认识和理解商务文化背景知识,同时培养学生良好的职业素养、职业道德和爱岗敬业精神。本课程的先修课程是英语精读、英语视听说(基础模块)等专业基础课,后续相关课程为商务英语翻译、秘书英语、会展英语、商务英语综合实训等专业课。

二、课程目标

通过对《商务英语视听说》课程的学习,使学生达到以下知识、能力和素质目标:

1.知识目标

1)基础知识:常用词汇和常用句型,语音、语调知识等;

2)语言文化:英语语言国家的文化习俗,风土人情等

3)专业知识:基本日常商务活动、文秘、外贸业务活动、商务旅游等词

汇、句型,相关商务、外贸业务活动、文秘、商务旅游知识等;

4)策略知识:认知策略和学习策略知识等。

2)在商务交际场合中,能用英语进行思维;

三、课程设计

1、设计理念

课程旨在实践商学结合人才培养模式,利用完善的校内实训设施和校外实训机会,将校内网络学习辅助平台和校外实习实践平台紧密结合,突出“课企融合、课展融合、课赛融合、课证融合”特色,本课程以德国先进的职业教育“行动导向”教学理论为指导,倡导任务驱动,采取- 2 -

项目教学法,积极探索自主学习方式,提高学生个人学习能力和“以视助听、以听促说、听说结合”三位一体的全面英语运用能力。联合行业、企业专家进行基于商务工作过程的课程设计,结合课堂教学与课外自主学习和实践活动相结合的培养模式,并建立合理、科学

的评价体系,包括形成性发展性评价和终结评价。在过程性评价中关注学生解决实训项目等能力,以及在过程中表现出来的与他人合作的态度、表达与交流的意识和探索精神。

2、设计思路

本课程根据学生认知规律和掌握外语实际应用能力的内在逻辑,对学习过程进行严格的教学设计、预定教学目标和要求。充分利用先进信息技术,融合丰富的视频、音频、flash等多媒体表现手法以及纯正英美发音的标准示范、进行跟读模拟、录音对比、机器判断等先进的信息技术教学,把“视”“听”“说”三位一体完美结合,满足学生交互式、个性化、自主学习需要。打破以知识传授为主要特征的传统学科课程模式,针对职业岗位能力要求选取教学内容,创设实际商务与外贸业务会话场景对应过程组织教学,实施以学生自主学习为主,教师课堂教授为辅。学生在自行完成计算机软件系统练习之余,教师围绕画面和情节内容开展有针对性的口语会话训练。通过商务概念介绍和中西方商务文化对比,扩大学生的知识面,提高学生的商务听说技能。实训项目设计以商务交际活动中的工作任务为线索来进行能力的培养。教学评价实行过程性评价、阶段性评价和形成性评价相结合,重点评价学生的职业能力和实操能力。

一)基本商务技巧模块。如何自我介绍,介绍他人和如何了解他人的工作情况,了解公司结构和部门职能,并介绍和训练商务沟通的基本技能(如电话沟通,包括如何留口信以及如何记录口信),如何获取有关方位和个人信息的方法,初步的商务信函写作格式。

二)公司日常工作及商务活动技巧模块。重点为介绍工作时间和工

作条件,描述工作惯例;如何请求帮忙及如何应对请求;商务旅行、日程安排,通过电话联系安排商务会见,商务会议,并提供了一些

案例。

三)职业相关技能训练。简述工作经历,求职文件的准备;如何接

待来公司参观的人士,如何提出注意安全一类的告诫;向来访客人

介绍本地的休闲娱乐活动及接受招待后写信表示感谢等;如何招待

客户(预约、邀请客户进餐、进餐礼仪、菜肴介绍)等。

Don’t you hear Big John is coming?” Task3: A View of Happiness Script Dr. Smith has proposed a reasonable, if perhaps somewhat oversimplifies, view of happiness. According to his theory, happiness might be described as a state if balance. And when human or certain animals achieve that balance, they rend to remain in that condition in order to repeat the happy feeling. To illustrate this, we may study two magnets. When their positive and negative poles meet, they are comfortably joined, and they remain there. In other words, they have attained a balance or state of happiness. If on the other hand, one of the poles is reversed, and positive pole is presses against positive pole, there is resistance, instability, imbalance a state of unhappiness. Animals with some degree of intelligence seem to find happiness in reinforcement. Once they have gained one or more of their goals such as food, and water, they learn to repeat the actions that led to satisfaction of those goals. This repetition or reinforcement produces a state of balance or sense of happiness. According to this theory, only animals with a
