Walt whitman is a poet with a strong sense of mission.in his Leaves of Grass,openness,freedom,and above all individulism are all that concerned him .the poet`s essential purpose was to identify his ego with the wodld,and more specifically with the democratic of America.--
The song of myself
Among the Leaves of Grass, “Song of Myself” was the most famous poem in this collection. In this poem, Whitman’s main theme “self” could be found anywhere.From it, we also could find Whitman emphasized on the worth of ordinary individuals, the important of self. He also admired the nature, and the life.About this poem, Whitman invited us to live life in a new way, to encourage us to take advantage of the creative potential that exists within the self and combine the self with the creative universe.

Emily Dickinson`s poetry is unique and unconventional in its own way.her poems have no titles,here are always quoted by their first lines.due to her deliberate seclusion ,herpoem tend to be very pensonal and meditative.--
I'm nobody
The poem's first stanze tells how the speaker meets a fellow "nobody" — a friend. Together, the two nobodies can enjoy each other's company and their shared anonymity.
