Undergraduate Program for Specialty in Environmental Engineering

一、培养目标

Ⅰ.Educational Objectives

培养德、智、体全面发展,能实施我国可持续发展环境战略、建设环境友好型社会,解决复杂环境问题的复合型、技术型人才,以适应现代科学技术与经济发展的需要。学生应掌握环境工程学科的基本理论和基本知识,有良好的人文素养,获得环境工程师和规划师的基本训练,具有创新精神和环境污染控制、规划、管理、评价的高级技术型和复合型人才。

毕业生可以根据自己的专业方向与特色,到相应的环保、环卫企、事业单位或高等院校、管理部门及其相关领域从事设计、规划、评价、研究、开发、教学及管理等方面的工作,也可以选择到国内外相近学科的研究教学单位或行业继续深造或工作。

The program is designed to cultivate students’ moral, intelligence and constitution developing entirely, make sure that graduates can carry on the national continuance developing environmental strategy, build environmental friendly-style society and solve complex environmental problems, in order to meet the needs of modern science, technology and economy’s development. Studen ts should master the basic theory and knowledge of environmental engineering, have good culture diathesis, obtain the basic training of environmental engineer and programmer, have innovation spirit and environmental pollution control, plan, management and assessment ability.

According to the specialty trait, students can work in companies, organizations, colleges of environmental engineering for the job of design, plan, research, development, teaching and management, and also can go abroad for further studying.

二、基本规格要求

Ⅱ.Skills Profile

1. 具有可持续发展理念和正确的环境伦理观,扎实的自然科学和人文科学基础知识,良好的人文素质和道德修养;

2. 在环境工程学科中融入人文科学的基本知识,掌握环境规划、管理、评价的基本理论和方

法;

3. 掌握环境科学的理论基础和环境工程的技术知识,掌握有关工程测量、施工与组织方面的基本技术,具有环境工程设计的能力;

4. 具有工程制图、计算机应用、测试和使用试验仪器的基本能力,具有综合应用各种手段(包括外语)查询资料、获取信息的基本能力。

As a student of this program, you will acquire:

1. Having continuance developing thought and correct environmental ethic, solid grounding in both natural science and humanities, good culture diathesis;

2. Melting humanities knowledge to environmental knowledge, master the theory and means of environmental planning, management and assessment.

3. Principles of the discipline and knowledge including environmental science and environmental engineering, skills to engineering surveying and construction technology and organization and environmental engineering design;

4. Skills of engineering drafting, computer application, ability to use general testing and experiment apparatus, information gathering and searching skills.

三、培养特色

Ⅲ.Program Features

培养理、工、文兼备的具有较宽广专业知识的技术型和复合型人才。在污水处理、固体废弃物处理、大气污染控制、环境监测技术领域着重培养技术型人才,在环境规划、管理、评价领域着重培养复合型人才,使学生在各自领域的一个或两个方向上具有解决复杂环境问题的能力。

Cultivate technology and compound talents who have omnidirectional knowledge in science, technology and humanities. Cultivate technology talents in the area of sewage treatment, solidwaste treatment, air pollution control and environmental monitoring. Cultivate compound talents in the area of environmental planning, management and assessment. The graduates could resolve the complex environmental problems in one or more areas.
