1-Scope of Works: 工作范围

承包商将要根据本项目要求履行的工作内容应该包括：而且在现场这些设施的施工应该按照由项目业主准备的普遍统一的模型，即根据现场的性质将所要求的步骤应用于设计模板上，并根据特殊术语确认的方式所要求的内容、附件（1）、以及技术规范和该合同文件的其它内容，使所有被要求的改进都与该现场的设计相吻合。承包商应该通过开发项目中心委托一家合格的咨询办事处对这些工程提供咨询，该咨询办事处的名字和数据应该提交给业主以供批准。

The projects which will be performed by the contractor according to this project shall include the execution of the technical specifications and the rest of the contract documents. The contractor shall refer these works to a qualified consultation office through the developing projects center with submitting his name and data for the approval of the Owner.

This shall be done according to the charts, technical specification, table of quantities and all the requirements mentioned in all the other project documents provided in the main contract form. The work includes, and is not confined to, the execution establishment, the completion of all the project items that depend on the application works, the preparation of the executive detailed charts with providing the detailed engineering accounts required for all the related items and systems of the project and in all specializations, the preparation of the workshop charts, the final tables of quantity and all the other services mentioned in the contract documents, all the vocational works required for the execution of the required works including the study of the site, soil test, establishment, civil, architectural, electric and mechanical works with all the furniture, interior supplies, preparations, finishing works, test operation and the works’ maintenance during the maintenance period (guarantee) and all the other works mentioned in the scope of work and all the other contract documents.

The work scope also includes the provision of the Sites, labor, supervision, tools technical and vocational services, production plans, execution, material, provisions and the items required for revising the designs and applying them on the Sites with performing all the required amendments, executing, establishing, furnishing, preparing, finishing and completing the project besides fulfilling all the duties and obligations according to the contract documents in order to achieve the beneficiary party’s requirements and needs. Moreover, the completion of the works shown in the contract documents and the temporary, additional and completing works and the amendments required by the Owner from the contractor according to the conditions and documents of contract.

2.1 The work which shall be performed under this contract includes the completion of

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz project to develop the security headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior - the fifth phase. The contractor shall assign this work to a qualified consultant office by the development projects center and to submit his name and statements for the approval of the owner.

As such implementation shall be in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, quantities tables, appendix number (1) and all requirements contained in all other contract documents which are mentioned in the main contract document and also according to the documents prepared by the contractor and which are approved by both the Owner and the Engineer. The contractor shall obtain the necessary permits from the General Administration of the Military Survey regarding the survey works and topographic survey at least one month prior to beginning in cadastral and topographic works for any of the sites.

The work includes, but is not limited to, implementing, establishing, completing

and maintaining works of all project elements after application of the designs on sites and make all the necessary adjustments resulting from the application works and prepare the detailed and execution drawings along with providing the detailed engineering calculations which are required for all elements and systems related to the project and all disciplines. This is in addition to the preparation workshop drawings, final tables of quantities and all the other services referred to in the contract documents, and all necessary professional works to implement the required works, including the site studies works, soil tests and examination in addition to implementing the recommendations of the soil approved report, and all the buildings, services and the accessories of the project including the construction, civil, architectural and electrical works and all the required systems and plumbing, water supply, alarm systems and fire resistance, cooling and air conditioning, mechanical works, interior furniture and mattresses, fittings and specialties required works, signage and finishes, service delivery to the sites and buildings, experimental operation, outside the buildings’ works, which includes site works, inc luding civil works, networks, services, terrestrial reservoirs, irrigation works, utilities, parks and green spaces, sidewalks, driveways, all landscaping works, roads, stations, umbrellas, gates, fences, guard towers and its complementary, and a sites study for the disposal and protection from rainfalls and floods and traffic study for the movement in the surrounding sites roads, and movement in and out and getting the Engineer’s approval on all those studies before they are implemented and all other works contained in the scope of work and at any of the contract documents, including works maintenance during the maintenance period (the warranty).

the plan of providing the materials, samples, catalogs and other submissions while getting the approval of the Engineer and / or the owner, change orders management system and actions to be taken to reduce the changes and monitor and control the project works, that this will be subject to review and approval of the owner before its implementation, the transportation, handling and storage works of project materials and equipment, and the methods used to maintain its safety and validity until they are used or being installed in its places in the project and its maintenance, the methods to implement the critical works and specialties works, that has to includes identifying those works and its implementing sequence and the planned dates for its implementation, and specialized companies nominated for such implementation, the operating tests and experimental operation works, project maintenance works during the warranty period, repairing defects and search for it, the materials, services, fittings, equipment, technical labor and technical supervision, required spare parts to be provided during this period, models for the tests and the audit and work reports and work progress daily, weekly and monthly reports, adjust and control works reports and the nonconformity reports, the change, and all the other work models, a general outline of the sites shows the places of the office space and the owner and the engineer fittings, the rest of sites fittings, fences, gates, and all required and necessary plans and programs under the contract and its documentation for the management, implementation, and completion of the project, for its entire duration including the planning stages, execution, control and surveillance, and until the completion and delivery of the project and the duration of maintenance.

The Contractor shall perform any other necessary studies to harmonize the ground or the site which is devoted to establishing the project, when conducting the models designs application on sites, the contractor shall take into account the site actual area and form, boarders, and nature of the land, work to take the maximum advantage of the entire land available for the project while demonstrating flexibility in the use and distribution of areas and spaces and parking garages, to comply with the project requirements and specifications while maintaining the model and basic design determinants and taking into account the relationship of surrounding or near streets, roads and fences with project internal roads, streets and fences, as well as the relationship of buildings to each other within the site, and its relationship to adjacent buildings, that the final application shall corresponds with the requirements of codes, municipal, secretariats and all concerned parties.
