英语演讲比赛稿范文2

Good afternoon everybody!

It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life,

a happy family and to travel my great country.

I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why

they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want

to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.

Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish.

I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.

I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see

the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the

way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all

three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

Thank you everyone for listening to my dreams.

I thank you!

Dear teachers, students:

I am very happy to meet with you here today to tell you my speech is entitled "English, so I am happy."

English, spread to all over the world, people talk about memorization. Since my time in first grade began to learn English, I was not interested in it, but the third and fourth grade, when a sudden interest in reading in English every day, and even self-learning, to raise a lot of English results .

Now, my greatest interest is the time to see the English. Each weekend, I always find time to read

English books or see on the English comic books, information books, and even outside the time when shopping, but also with some English information on the book, simply put it down.

Each school, I sometimes went to the library of books on English, a view that is 30 minutes, the harvest has been so many.

Once again, the summer vacation, I went to the United Kingdom. Where I see a lot of the city, this afternoon I have friends with the British dialogue in English, but also know a lot of knowledge of English, they also compliment away一extra-curricular knowledge of the English book.

I have often in the Monday and Tuesday, when listening to English tapes, one is 3 hours. Also frequently used sentence patterns learned review again, I learned to feel very proud.

The book in English class after school, but also extra-curricular English book out to read, every time I think: if these extra-curricular English read the end, learned that their English, reading and writing is not improved. Therefore, I, day and night, every day, reading, really English results improved reading and writing, I am more proud of.

I know that Rome was not built in a day. I believe that through continuous efforts to learn, one day, I can speak English very well.

Therefore, I am very happy of.

We, having been living in one corner of the world for several decades, must ask ourselves what is the level of our national strength and our civilization. This is the final awakening of which I speak.

To put it another way, if we open our eyes and take a hard look at the situation within our country and abroad, what place does our country and our people occupy, and what actions should we take?... Our task today can be said to be the intense combat between the old and the modern currents of thought. Those with shallow views all expect this to be our final awakening, without understanding how difficult it is

to put into practice... There is no difference between the shameful disgrace of submissiveneof men of ancient times hoping that sage rulers and wise ministers will practice benevolent government and present day men hoping that dignitaries and influential elders will build a constitutional republic. Why should

I reject the desires of dignitaries and influential elders, who are after all a part of the people, to

build a constitutional republic? Only because a constitutional republic cannot be conferred by the government, cannot be maintained by one party or one group, and certainly cannot be carried on the backs of a few dignitaries and influential elders. A constitutional republic which does not derive from the conscious realization and voluntary action of the majority of the people is a bogus republic and bogus constitutionalism. It is political window-dressing, in no way like the republican constitutionalism of

the countries of Europe and America, because there has been no change in the thought or the character of the majority of the people, and the majority of the people have no personal feeling of direct material interest.

a small truth to make life 100%

karamay experimental middle school luo jintao

good afternoon, my dear friends and the honorable judges.

i’m very glad to be here and give you my speech. i hope we all can enjoy the time. now, today my topic is: “a small truth to make life 100%”.

as a young english teacher, i have to face different kinds of students and deal with trivial things every day. life goes on, but sometimes it’s becoming frustrating and i feel very tired. how to make my

life become better? i’m always seeking for the answer. fortunately, when i read a magazine one day, i found the truth to make my life 100%. today i would like to share it with you.

now, my dear friends, let’s do an interesting test together and then you will find the secret by yourself! as we all know, there are 26 alphabets in english, a to z. against them we have the numbers 1%

to 26%. if a is equal to 1%, and b to 2%, and so on, until z is equal to 26%, then can you guess what

can make our life 100%? that is to say, what can make our life perfect?

some of you may suggest “money”. however, after calculating, you’ll find it only comes to 72%.

now try a few more. knowledge? yes, knowledge is power! but this time it only comes to 96%. how about love? that only shows at 54%. luck does even worse, only at 47%. though most of us think this is the

most important.

then what makes 100%? hard work? closer, 98%. but not exact. now, what on earth can make life 100%? well, every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our attitude. yes! only attitude comes out

at 100%.

many of the gifts we have been given have been distributed unfairly. we all wish we had the ability

of the talented, the money of the rich, and the luck of the beautiful. but none of these matter. there

is only one thing we all have equally and can always control even in the worst situations. and that is

our attitude.

life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. therefore, attitude is the thing that shapes who you are the most.

attitude is everything. now, my dear friends, please give the world a sunshine smile. change your attitude and enjoy every minute in your life.

that’s all. thank you!

英语演讲比赛稿范文6

Hello! Everyone. I’m Tony, an 11-year-old happy boy.I live with my parents and we love each other.

I have many hobbies, such as sports, singing and reading books. And I love animals most. Now I will tell you about my favorite animal.

They are very precious sea animals with long bodies.Theylive on fish, shrimps and so on.They are very clever. People often train them for performances which brings us a lot of happiness and joy. They

are very friendly and peaceful. They never attack people. Instead, they have saved many people in danger.

Now,do you know what they are? Yes, you are right. They are dolphins.

I hope we can take actions to protect dolphins, so they will always be with us.

二 Good morning boys and girls, It’s a great pleasure for me/It’s nice to to give you a speech here. Nowadays mastering a foreign language is very helpful in our daily life. I feel it a great honor

to share my opinions about English learning with you. Firstly, I believe it is useful to remember as

many sentence patterns as possible. Secondly, we should try our best to read more English newspapers and magazines after class, which helps to improve our reading abilities. Besides, TV programmes are of great help to us. Last but not least, it’s necessary for us to communicate with foreign friends as much as possible and increase our awareness of foreign cultures, which can also help to improve our English.

However, sometimes I find it difficult to pronounce some English words correctly. I would appreciate it

if someone could give me some advice. Thanks for your attention.

英语演讲比赛稿范文7

The Dream Came True

I wanna welcome everybody here in this cheer team. Thank you for coming here this morning to stand

on my side cheering me on. It’s my dream to have the opportunity to challenge all the foreign athletes

to the championship at this great occasion: 2008 Olympic Games. Now, the dream came true. As an athlete

of China, I’m here to win the gold medal of orienteering for our motherland.

I’m so proud of being one of the best players in the world. But could you believe I had been a lazy

girl when I was in Junior High. I’m not kidding! At that time, running was my last favorite. I really

don’t know how to describe the first time I was on the track. It was horrible. When I started to run, I

was simply out of breath. And while I touched the finishing line, I really didn’t know if I was still

alive. It’s so funny, huh? But it’s true, I did. Well, something happened and changed the situation.

We won the right of holding the Olympic Games in 2008. After that, sports became a kind of game in

campus. And there are many sports clubs in school. One day someone asked me:“are you gonna try one of

those?”First I felt so wired.

“Try to get into sports clubs? Are you kidding?” I said. And she goes: “Why not It’s not hard at

all, and so fascinating!” So I did tried one and I was so lucky to become one of those who did

orienteering. That is a fantastic sport! You need to run and find where to go just by using a map and a

compass. It’s wasn’t popular in China at first. But when we heard it might become a new event in 2008,

we did practiced hard, and aimed to win the first Champion of orienteering in the world. When we

practiced, there were a lot of troubles. You know, sometimes you need to go with your feet, but

sometimes you need to go with your heart. In some situations, we faced the difficulties and problems.

And we need to solve that through teamwork and strong willpower. So we can run faster, go higher and be

stronger. That is what we say—Olympic spirit.

Now the dream came true. I’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. So do the

people from all over the world to HERE at the Olympic Games. It’s the Olympic Games that make us

together. We are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. We are here for a

spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today I would like to begin with a story.

Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a

true story of Mrs. Dian Fossey, who spent most of bet lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment

there until the very end of her life.

To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a 6) timeless reminder

that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our ecoenvironment.

All these 7) appalling(令人震惊的) facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer

stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been 8) eroding(侵蚀) our resources. Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is

why the United Nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment.

Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations an: receiving donations--big notes, small notes or even coins--from housewives, 9) plumbers(水管工人), ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and 10) invalids(残疾人), Some of them can not afford to send the money but they do. These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. Why? Because they care. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Because they know it still belongs to them.

This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it,

and looks like it, it's all coming from a scene to remember, a scene to recall and to cherish.

The other night, as l saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible,

my mind was filled with songs. I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to some- thing else, someplace else. a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seem to have been except the deer.

And all those unforgettable scenes strengthened the feeling that it's lime for us to do something,

for our own and our coming generation.

Once again, I have come to think of Mrs. Dian Fossey be- cause it's with her spirit, passion,

courage and strong sense of our ecoenvironment that we are taking our next step into the world.

And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our mind, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.

Thank you very much.

economical globalization & development of china

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, my name is zhang botao, i am from shaanxi university of science & technology.

when i stand here to deliver my speech, i’m a little worried about my cell phone and also yours.

i’m afraid that one of them may suddenly ring loudly so that my fascinating speech will probably be interrupted by simens, nokia, motorola or panda. and this is just one possible result caused by economic globalization. no matter if you admit it or not, we are now all in a global village and economic

globalization is here to stay.

nowadays, economic globalization is being referred to more and more. i don’t know who first

invented the word, but undoubtedly, it is steadily and inexorably becoming more and more common and important. it covers our world so quickly, just like influenza. as charles darwin noted: survival of the

fittest. in order to adapt to this great and global reform, i think, there must be something important

and urgent we need to do, for every nation, every corporation, and even to every person.

first, take me for an example. just ten years ago, i did not know what a computer was, let alone

what it can do. but since 20xx, i cannot live without my computer, just like i can’t live without my

cell phone! of course, these great changes are derived from economic globalization, and the rapid development of china. for every chinese man like me, these rapid changes mean great challenge: because

of economic globalization, many new technologies rushed into china without translation; because of economic globalization, many unknown software appeared on our desks; and, because of the economic globalization, we must hasten our rhythm of living, working and even resting. the speed of the development of china has been tremendously accelerated, so if we don’t want to be elapsed from this

great tidal wave of development, we must understand the meaning of this phrase very clearly: one is

never too old to learn.

second, to an enterprise in china, it also means a problem concerning survival. our entrance to wto

has paved the way for many super universal corporations to enter the economic market of china. this

means the competition in our domestic market will be much more brutal than ever before. if our state

enterprises and other companies don’t adjust to this global reform and get used to the more and more cruel competition, surely they will be elapsed in this blood-red economic battle. if you want your company to stand up at last, i think the most important thing for you to do is that, “firm your confidence and welcome the great coming challenge.”

third, as globalization is gradually knitting separate national economies into a single one, if one nation would like to stand up and develop during these global changes, it must effectively carry out some economical and political reforms. for example, reducing the tax to attract more international organiz

ations to invest in our country, or do some political reforms, to cater for some important international organizations. maintaining an average 8% economic increase rate per year needs not only effective and promising economic policy, but also the prudent leadership.

economic globalization brings us not only a great challenge, but also a great chance to develop. it brings us a great potential of international corporations and makes them take roots and develop in china. and this will create new job opportunities for our huge labor market. if we can strengthen ourselves and take the chance, i promise, china’s development will be hastened greatly, and china will become the leader of economic globalization of the world!

My name is……”当我说

到”Her favorite color is red!” “That’s all!Thank you!”

I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less And become more realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be "fulfilled"? Why do we have to surrender to the so-called "reality"? What IS the reality actually? Ladies And gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is a barrier keeping us from all the possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, "man could not fly" was still regarded as the "reality". Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macau? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future is a battle between the reality And our dreams. And if, unfortunately, Mr. Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. "I got the highest mark in the mid-term examination!" she said. Don't be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45. Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a college. "This was the wisest decision I have ever made," she said proudly like a teenage girl. To her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young. "Compared with the late 70s," she says, "now college students have many doors." My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978 when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory. I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice

名人英语演讲稿 Tribute to Diana 致戴安娜——查尔斯·斯宾塞 Diana was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity. All over the world, a standard bearer for the right of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcend nationality, someone with a natural nobility who was classless. 在全世界,戴安娜是同情心、责任心、风度和美丽的化身,是无私和人道的象征,是维护真正被践踏的权益的旗手,是一个超越国界的英国女孩,是一个带有自然的高贵气质的人,是一个不分阶层的人。 This is the text of Earl Spencer's tribute to his sister at her funeral. There is some very deep, powerful and heartfelt sentiment. Would that those at whom it is aimed would take heed. The versions posted on several news services had minor errors. This is precisely as it was deliverd. I stand before you today the representative of a family in grief, in a country in mourning before a world in shock. We are all united not only in our desire to pay our respects to Diana but rather in our need to do so. For such was her extraordinary appeal that the tens of millions of people taking part in this service all over the world via television and radio who never actually met her, feel that they, too, lost someone close to them in the early hours of Sunday morning. It is a more remarkable tribute to Diana than I can ever hope to offer her today. Diana was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity, a standard-bearer for the rights of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcended nationality, someone with a natural nobility who was classless, who proved in the last year that she needed no royal title to continue to generate her particular brand of magic. Today is our chance to say "thank you" for the way you brightened our lives, even though God granted you but half a life. We will all feel cheated, always, that you were taken from us so young and yet we must learn to be grateful that you came along at all. Only now you are gone do we truly appreciate what we are now without and we want you to know that life without you is very, very difficult. We have all despaired at our loss over the past week and only the strength of the message you gave us through your years of giving has afforded us the strength to move forward.

They were escaping blazing forest fires of epic proportions. It was the largest evacuation in Saskatchewan history. Thousands of people were on the move, all of them in uncertain circumstances, not knowinghow quickly they would return home. For a few young women, these circumstances had an added dimension of uncertainty. Theywere in the late stages of pregnancy. These young women were living as displaced persons far from home, without the supplies theyhad gathered for their new baby. Thankfully, for all concerned, healthy babies were delivered in hospitals close by with medicalstaff to give assistance. We are privileged to live in a province where people come together. That can be difficult whenstress levels are high. And so I salute the evacuees, and the firefighters, and the troops, and the Red Cross, and thelocal officials, the mayors and chiefs. Those who shared money, food and supplies, those who prayed for an ending to this situation. All rose to the occasion. Two thousand years ago, a public official named Caesar Augustus issued a decree that all peopleneeded to be accounted for. It affected the entire Roman world. Everyone needed to beregistered. Many people were on the move, with primitive travel arrangements, not

曹丰 Our Future: A Battle between Dreams and Reality Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen: When I was in the primary school, I have a dream. AIDS will never be curable as this IS the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this IS the reality; 4)Disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance IS the reality. Ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of you think that you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don't dream anymore? Dear 5)adjudicators, what do you think? C.S. Lewis once said, "You are never too old to dream a new dream." So for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. Now that I am a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have a dream deeply rooted in our future. One day, people living in the areas now 6)sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day, people from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the poor countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day, different cultures in this age
