Recently, a number of disasters have took place in our country. At Sichuan and Gansu, a series of earthquakes have took away many lives and destroyed property. At the southeast of China and Taiwan, typhoon from the South China Sea brings about heavy rainstorm and flood which block up the traffic of many cities. On the contrary, The abnormal weather makes the drought in Xinjiang and the farmers gain no harvest. The people at northeast of China have to tolerate the severe snowstorm and the biting wind. More and more disasters call up our one more deep thought of our behaviors to the nature.
As my view, I believe disaster is the revenge from the nature world. Since the beginning of the last century, human never stop drawing resources and damage the environment. People heartlessly cut one tree by one tree, kill the rare animals for fur, endlessly mine the coal and oil, blowoff the dirty water to the rivers and the grime gas to the air, etc. All our action to the earth cause ecological disturbance. It means the environment can not cure itself. And it become worse and worse. People so suffer diasasters.
To prevent the disasters to happen as possible as we can , we need to do some measures. For the government, they need to strengthen legislation. More and sterner laws and decrees are supposed to be issued to limit people cutting the trees and fill in the lakes. The government also should put more money in ecological construction to recover the nature. For the government, absolutely necessary, they need to build better defenses so that the country will reduce the loss after the tragic disasters. For we common people, when the disasters come , we ought to be calm. What need to do is to focus on the news to know what the government want us to do. And then we follow. Only in this way can we not fall in panic.
