I.定义:主语为动作的承受者

II.构成:be + done, 时态通过be体现

III一些特殊的被动结构

1.带情态动词的被动结构

Bad things can be turned into good things.坏事也可变成好事

He should be punished.

2.、带动词不定式的被动结构

The plan has to be changed.

The matter needs to be further discussed

3.某些不带to的动词,变成被动语态时要加上to,如:hear, see, make, help They made him tell them everything

He was made to tell them everything

4. get + done也可以表示被动

He got hurt/ injured.

5.常用句型:

It be + said/believed/thought/reported/hoped/proved/suggested that…

It is believed that he is dangerous. = He is believed to be dangerous.

V、注意几个问题

1、不及物动词不能用语被动语态,如:die, arrive, happen

An earthquake happened in that city. 那城市发生了地震。

2、有些静态动词,尽管是及物动词,也很少用于被动语态,如:fit, have, lack, suit. She is having a rest. The color suits me.

3、一些带介词的动词也主要用于主动语态

Everyone agrees with me. We walked into the room.

4、主动形式表被动

(1)need, want, require等后的动名词表被动含义

My watch needs repairing .

(2)be + adj+ to do ( nice, good, pleasant, heavy, light, difficult, hard, easy,

fit, comfortable, bitter)

The picture is nice to look at.

The water is not fit to drink.

The sofa is comfortable to sit on.

Good medicine is bitter to taste.

3) 某些动词如,write, wash, do, owe, look, bind, print

The pen writes smoothly.

This kind of cloth washes well.

4)某些词组如,be worth doing 不用被动

5)feel, taste, smell 等感官动词,不能用于进行时态,也没有被动语态。他们的主动形式可表示被动含义。

The cloth feels soft..这布料摸起来感觉很柔软。

The paint smells bad. 这油漆气味难闻。

主谓一致

1.动名词,动词不定式,主语从句作主语时,谓语动词用单数。

Reading books and fashion magazines is my major hobby.

What he says makes no sense.

2. 当and连接不同的两个人或物时,谓语动词用复数。

Reading and writing are very important.

3.当and连接表示同一人,同一物或同一事情的两个词时,谓语动词用单数,此时and 连接的两个名次前只能有一个冠词。

The League secretary ang monitor is asked to make a speech at the meeting.

4..当and 所连接的名词前有each, every或no时,谓语动词用单数。

5..当there be 句型的主谓是一系列事物时,谓语动词应与最邻近的主语保持一致。

6..当either…or,neither…nor,not only…but also

等连接两个主语时,谓语动词与最邻近的主语保持一致。

Either you or sge is to go. 不是你去就是她去。

7..当主语前有with, together with, like, except, but, no less than,, as well as, along with, rather than等介词短语时,谓语动词与介词短语前的主语部分一致。

不定代词each ,every ,little ,a little ,much, either ,neither代表单数。

Each of the students has his talent .

每个学生都有天赋。

Either of the houses is big enough

这两幢房子那一幢都是够大的。

Much of the time was wasted.

Many ,few ,a few ,several ,both 代表复数。

8..All,most ,some, any ,none, the rest, half ,the majority of ,lots of ,enough和分数后即可跟可数名词也可跟不可数名词,因此谓语动词的单复数要根据所指代的名词决定。

All is ready and all are present.

集体名词作主语时,谓语动词的数要根据主语的意思来决定。如family ,audience ,crew ,crowd ,class ,company ,committee ,population等词后,谓语动词用复数形式时强调这个集体中的各个成员,用单数时强调该集体的整体。His family are music lovers.

他家个个都是音乐爱好者。

9.People ,police ,cattle 等作主语是,在任何情况下谓语动词都用复数形式。

单复数同型的名词,如means等,要跟据句意确定谓语动词的单复数。

各种方法都试过了。

学科类名次虽然已复数形式出现,但代表了单数。
